Changing doctors/locations with two rambunctious children is always a bit exhausting. Ontop of that, getting through to Medicaid to change practitioners. MERCY made this transition so easy, she provided me with all the information I needed to call and change providers and who to speak to. Doctor Neha was also very patient and kind in addressing my concerns and the kiddos didn't side track her from any of it. Thank you One very tired momma read more

This is the 2nd time I have taken my child in the last 4 months - where i am told a prescription wll be sent to the pharmacy - 3 plus days go by many calls made to MD Kids no call back & no medication. Saturday, we had the appointment its Thursday * No call back - no mediation. read more

Dr. Roland is such a wonderful doctor for my child! He has been my son's doctor since he was a newborn and it is lovely getting to have a consistent doctor that knows my son's health and growth. Anytime I have a concern, he gives me a logical, thorough explanation of what he believes is going on. His level-headed advice is refreshing and much appreciated while handling the worries that come with parenting. The staff is very friendly at this office as well. Anytime I run into scheduling issues, it has been easy to give them a call and reschedule as needed. read more

They don't answer phones ever. Or get back to voicemails. Need to call to find out about my childs vaccinations for the start of school but am going to have to drive there because NOBODY ANSWERS PHONES. Its all good, will let them know in person when I get there today. read more

Today was my first time visiting the Carrollton location, I normally go to the one in Plano and after visiting I switch my kids here. Walking in it smelled sanitized, clean and quite the works were very helpful and respectful! Our wait wasn't long at all. GREAT location!!!!! read more

I'm not sure if this place have new management or what but my visit was nothing like the reviews. I just switched my children over to this office and their service was the best I have had in a while. Appointment setup was easy, the staff was very professional. I received an appointment reminder and was able to fill out paperwork and check in on my phone hours before my appointment. The seating area was very clean and the wait time was under 20 minutes. The doctor was very professional and had a lot of energy and made my kids feel very comfortable. She also listened to what I needed for my children. They were very fast with giving shots, some of the nurses was a bit quiet but the kids had no trouble with getting shots. We were done in less than an hour. This was our first visit so hopefully it will continue to be this great. I will update if not. read more

Dr Roland is the BEST! He actually cares about the kids and sees me as a parent and values my feedback. We moved from out of state and needed a pediatrician who could help with my sons severe ADHD. So grateful we found Dr Roland and his office staff! read more

Called and made an appt for my 11 yr old daughter early in the morning. The appt was scheduled for 1:45 PM. I was told we would need to arrive at 1:30 PM. We arrived at 1:30 PM. Checked in and filled out their label form. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Apparently the Dr. that we were assigned to for the appt was at lunch. For some reason they can't or won't factor in when the Dr. will be at lunch to schedule your appointment. I reminded the front desk lady of our appt time and she could only tell me that the Dr. would be in a few mins from lunch. I don't understand why appts are scheduled if they cannot keep them. Total lack of regard for their patients as they are completely fine making you wait and seeing you on their time. read more

Good experience with the doctor for years. But we moved out of state, and I have been asking for them to send our medical records to our new doctor for over 6 months. I've called, emailed, filled out the same forms multiple times. So has our new doctor. Today, I filed a complaint with the state of Texas for their failures. read more

Horrible service with billing, calling to just make an appt, doctors! I've gave them numerous of chances on different days and it's still dirty as well as unorganized. They charged me a co-pay when I'm on a deductible plan, it's been over a month and they still have not fixed it. read more

Absolutely the rudest most incompitent bunch of folks I have ever encountered. They said they couldnt bill my insurance even after being told by the insurance my not even week old baby would be covered. They then stated it would be insurance fraud to send the bill to the insurance. Not only do I now have to gather all these receipts and spend my time to send it off to be refunded for covered care that were notified about over the phone. But I also have to locate another pediatrician. DO NOT GO TO MD KIDS THEY DO NOT FACILITATE A POSITIVE FAMILY CARE OUTFIT. read more

This is only our second time here, We're in the waiting room and just saw the doctor enter the clinic, bag and all, 30 MINUTES after we were supposed to be here. I'll update my rating IF we choose to come here again and have a different experience. The first visit we waited a total of 1.5 hours including in the waiting room and in the examination room. Doctor had a great bedside manner, I'm not sure that makes up for the tardiness. read more

The worst; they are horrible with answering their phones. My daughter's medication was never sent over to our pharmacy. I've been calling all day today and they are steady picking up and placing me back on hold without even greeting. read more

Waited over 2 hours and still didn't get didn't get seen, I had to walk out. Every time I go it's a different doctor seeing my kids. Very rude and unprofessional staff, when I said I was leaving and no longer wanted to wait they mocked me by saying bye rudely over and over again. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING & wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

Doctor was GREAT, but that's all that was good about this place. Arrived almost 30 minutes before our appointment, signed in 23 minutes before (there was a line to sign in). Weren't even given new patient paperwork until AFTER our scheduled appointment time. Should have left then. Takes me about 5 minutes to fill out and I turn it back in. And wait. And wait. Then twenty minutes AFTER our appointment time, I am asked for my new patient paperwork. I tell them I've already turned it in. They spend the next few minutes looking for the paperwork I turned in. We're finally called back by someone who doesn't speak to my kid. Doesn't ask her any questions, then she weighs her, takes her temp, takes her blood pressure without speaking to her. She's asking me questions like when was last dental appointment, does she have any medical issues, allergies, are there any siblings, etc. She isn't using gloves during all of this and takes her temperature then throws the cover in the waste basket with her bare hands. My concern peaks to the point that I choose to NOT let them give my kid shots. We're shown to a room then do the vision/hearing test. This went well, they actually start to talk to my child for the first time so far. The doctor is GREAT. I really liked him. He comes in at 50 minutes after our appointment time but we didn't wait long for him after the vision/hearing was complete. I share with him our frustration and he apologizes, explains that Mondays and Fridays are the busiest. He does a good, thorough exam and speaks to my child, great bedside manner. As we check-out, they give me paperwork that we need for school. The paperwork . . . it's falsified, there's no way to sugar coat it. Paperwork states some things are true, like her name, birthday, hearing and vision test results. However, it says things like "no shot record" when I provided them shot records, says "brushes twice a day and flosses" when no one even asked me or my child, much less answered anything about this. It continues, basically two pages front and back of things that are completely made up. We leave an hour and 20 minutes after our appointment time ( and an hour 40 minutes after we arrived) without everything done. Most of that time was spent waiting in their circus of a waiting room. They've made stuff up instead of actually talking to me and/or my kid and due to the sanitary concerns, I didn't let them give my kid the shot she came in for. read more

We were previously here when it was Children's Medical Group with Dr. Murthy (one of the best), but it was abruptly right after MD Kids took over. Staffs and the organization professionals were suddenly replaced with teens and nurse practitioners. The business were unorganized, poor communications between one another. They were going to give my daughter an 18 month shot when we were there for her one year visit. They claimed our appointment was for another time and considered our visit as a walk-in. It was really frustrating. We quickly switch to a different pediatrician and never looked back with any regrets. If you don't believe this just the beginning, read other location reviews. It will make you sick to your stomach. read more

Last time I got there I had to be there for 3 hours only to get a physical done for my daughter plus they treated me with such an attitude. Also the receptionist had me waiting way to long they have done this 4 times. All of the good doctors are gone, such a bad place. read more

If I could mark 0 stars I would. I have been extremely disappointed in MD Kids; when we first had our son we made an appointment to see Dr. Monica Fonseca-Aten. To our surprise when we attended the first appointment she was not the doctor that waked in the door. The doctor was nice however, not who we were expecting. The following appointment again suppose to be with Dr. Monica Fonseca-Aten; again not who we ended up seeing; we later found out that she has not worked at this location in over two years! Despite the fact that we had been lied to, we really liked the new female PA we had been seeing (we ended up seeing the PA because the doctor was behind schedule 2 x) and went again. This time the front office staff was incredible rude; we kept being asked why we were there. I finally was like do you really not know or are you just asking? The staff member looked at me and was like well we need to verify; I was like you can verify without asking like you have no idea I had an appointment. This really bothered me! While going through the check-in process I was told we did not have to pay anything because this was a wellness appointment, I was happy to hear that because saving money is always a plus for me. During the visit with the PA, I asked a question about a possible diaper rash (Please note there was one red spot not even a rash). PA was nice recommended we change diaper creams. Great! 3 hours later I get a call saying I now owe them because the appointment was no longer a wellness appointment but rather a rash consultation! I was shocked, I refused to pay that because if I can not ask a simple question during a check up this is not the place for my family. I have since found a new Peds office that I will be taking my son to. We will never return to this location. I feel sorry for the doctors, I felt there were very nice and professional; but your office staff are 100% unprofessional. read more

OMG! I don't even know where to start. They are trying to be safe with Covid-19, so that's good. But this was the first time my daughter visited the place. For one, it didn't seem very clean on the inside. The trash cans are all old and missing the foot thing to open them hands free. They have metal popping out of the bottom. 2nd, my daughter was giving blood, and I don't know of they sent in a rookie or what, but the 1st girl to draw blood did NOT try to comfort my daughter. She didn't really talk to us. My daughter was freaking out. The lady was trying to find a vein and couldn't. She poked my daughter twice trying to find a vein. And didn't say one word to comfort or anything. Then she had to go get another lady to find a vein and draw blood. This lady said that if they couldn't find a vein that they'd send me to a phlebotomist. They should've just sent me to one if nobody knew how to really draw blood. They used the rubber thing to try to find a vein and wrapped and unwrapped my daughter's arms multiple times. All this left marks on her arms. I should've just left after the 1st girl failed at getting blood. The second girl managed to get some blood. This was ridiculous! What happened to bedside manner or talking to the kid or talking to the parent to get them to help? 3rd. When it came time to dispose of th needles, both of the biohazard dispensers were FULL!! That is disgusting. Mind you this appointment is in the morning. Why aren't these bohazard dispensers already cleaned out and replaced. I don't think I can go back to this place. I thought the doctor was ok, but the other nurse or techs or whatever they are were not very good. read more

Office staff is terrible. If I didn't LOVE Dr. Murthy so much, we would have left as soon as they made the change from Children's to MD Pediatrics. Receptionists never look up from their computer/phone calls to acknowledge your presence, they no longer give reminder/appointment confirmation calls, the wait times are ridiculously long and now they don't take my insurance anymore. We are devastated to be losing Dr. Murthy because the new practice refuses our insurance, but at the same time, relieved to never have to deal with such a poor office staff again. read more
