I cannot say enough about this daycare. My two girls have been there for the last 2 years and we will be there until they age out for kindergarten. The teachers are so thoughtful and amazing. They have engaging activities and really think of ways to make every kid special. They have a holiday program and are culturally aware of all traditions. The summer program they have is the best! The weeks are themed, they bring special character guests and activities. As for the owner, I don't know where our family would be without her. She is a true gem. She is so loving and understanding of all family dynamics. She does outreach for multiple communities and is always looking at ways to help out. My son has been attending for almost a month, and it's been such a wonderful and positive experience for him! The owner is incredibly understanding and truly cares about both the children and the staff. The facility is always clean, well-kept, and welcoming, which gives me so much peace of mind. Kiddies Kroner has thus far been a positive experience for my child. I was shocked to read a fellow teacher review. I have worked for a big Nobel Preschool for over ten years. Ms. Sanya is not greedy. She is the most loving boss I have ever had. In a big preschool company you are NO BODY to the corporate. This is why I started working at Kiddies Korner in April of 2021. On the first week that I got hired, Ms. Sanya had all her employees took CPR and First Aid classes. I was in my classroom prepping my new workspace. I was fully qualified to be a Pre-K Teacher, Infant/Toddler Teacher, and I decided to take a few more classes to be a Assistant Director because there was room for me to grow. Back to Ms. Sanya, after working for another preschool for the past ten year I had never felt really special. Ms. Sanya has heart of gold. I have never had a compassionate boss as her As a currently assistant director, I double-checked all Kiddies Korner employees' files and I am proud to say they are all fully qualified to be teachers and assistant teachers. We recently renewed all of our staff CPR and First Aid (Infant & Preschool/ School Age) My son, Daniel went here last summer for "summer camp". He had so much fun meeting Spider-Man and working on other summer camp activities. He wanted to go this year but he is just too old. Trust me, I would not have the title as Assisant Director if Ms. Sanya were a greedy person. All my teachers here at Kiddies Korner truly enjoy working with children and love them like their own kids. As an Assistant Director, I know that Ms. Sanya gives back to her community as well. She is a very humble and caring person. I can state this fact because I had personally delivered "Thank you Baskets" around our community during the holiday seasons. If there is a time in the future that I am no longer working her, then I would still recommend all my friends to the take them to Kiddies Korner rather than big corporation daycare around our community. read more

My son was just 6 months old when he started attending Kiddies Korner. He was there for a little over 2 years and in those two years I watched how much the teachers at Kiddies Korner helped my son thrive. My son was always excited to go to school and see his teachers. He absolutely loved being a part of Kiddies Korner. Communication is very important to me when it comes to my son and the teachers as well as Sanya (the director) always kept me updated on how my son was doing especially on rough days. They'd always make time to send the cutest pictures of him so I knew what he was up to. The teachers are absolutely dedicated to not only ensuring the safety and well-being of the children but they work so hard every day planning and preparing fun and educational activities for the kids. They are all about Hands-On play learning and I love it. Some of my favorite things were all the beautiful art he would come home with and the events they'd organize during the holidays like their winter performances and Halloween celebration. The teachers always made sure to make my son feel safe and loved. They helped him grow as a person and taught him so much. They were always kind and loving but most importantly patient. I could always go to work knowing that my son was safe and in good hands. I am so glad that I found this wonderful Center for my son. I am a former teacher that worked at Kiddies Korner from December 2016 to the start of May 2022 and I am perplexed why such a negative review was left by another former teacher because my experience with the school is the complete opposite from theirs. I believe that support from a reliable and trustworthy administrative person is something that is very important to have when you work at a preschool and Sanya went above and beyond as the director while I worked for her, which is why I happily stayed and worked for her so long. If I hadn't moved out of San Diego County I probably would still be working for her too. There were many ups and downs, which is common in the industry we work in and was to be expected but Sanya always took responsibility and sought out ways to solve any problems that the center or the staff were faced with so I have nothing but good things to say about her and I am grateful that I was able to learn, grow and take the experience I've had from working there with me to a new school in Riverside county where I live now. She always allowed me to take time off to take classes and I was fully qualified with more than the required 12 units in a short amount of time at the beginning of the time I worked there. She also made sure staff was up to date with first aid and CPR qualifications. She attended the same classes with me three times as well which showed how dedicated she was to ensuring the children were in good hands. I have so many positive memories from working at Kiddies Korner because of Sanya, my fellow coworkers I worked with, the families and of course the children I was so grateful to be able to work with. Kiddies Korner felt more than a school to me. I was part of a small family during my time there and I will always appreciate and look back fondly at the time I spent there. Our daughter was in Kiddies Korner since she was an infant until the last day before kindergarten, and we've been very happy and satisfied with everyone we've interacted with at Kiddies Korner. Not long after we started there, we had an opportunity to move our daughter into a Montessori style daycare with a bigger, 'nicer' facility. We opted to stay because our daughter seemed perfectly happy where she was. We never regretted the decision. The teachers care about the children and teach them with love and patience. We feel like they treat the children like their own. Our daughter was always happy to go and came home happy. There was even a stretch of time where we had to cajole her and bribe her with stickers to go home. If that's not a stamp of approval, I don't know what is. She genuinely loves her teachers and will miss them. In the five plus years I've done drop-offs and pick-ups, the place has always been clean. My daughter stayed safe and generally healthy going here every day, even during the pandemic years. Thank you to everyone at KK in the past 5 years! We'll miss you! read more

We have had or sons (5 and 2) enrolled here for the last few years. Kiddies Korner is a wonderful daycare and preschool and we have been very happy with the time they have spent there. The facility is clean and safe and all of the teachers really care for the kids. The COVID precautions in place are followed strictly for health and safety of the kids, families and teachers. The pricing and scheduling flexibility is great. Sanya the owner is really great at what she does and loves all of the kids. I'm so grateful for Kiddies Korner. I have been bringing my daughter here for several years now and the teachers are so caring. The entire team is such a wonderful group of people. Kiddies Korner is very nurturing, not only do they teach ABCs they also do a lot of arts and crafts with the children. I like the daycare because they seem to have a curriculum. Kiddies Korner is just the best place! My granddaughter (almost 15 months) has been attending here since July 2022. I toured the facility with my son and daughter-in-law when they were looking for childcare. They had done their daycare research and invited me to do the walkthrough with them. A grandma has high standards, and I was pleased with what was offered at Kiddies Korner! I just knew that my little girl would be lovingly and expertly cared for. Kiddies Korner has lived up to my expectations and more! Little did I know, but my own "kids" would be cared for and nurtured by the staff at KK being that they were new parents and new to the area. I wish I could give Kiddies Korner more than a 5 star rating. We started our daughter here at 5 months old and we could not be more grateful for Sanya and her staff and their excellent care. Kiddies Korner became her second home and we always felt comfortable and at ease with her in their care. As first time parents with their baby in daycare it can be nerve wracking. But you can tell how much they genuinely love the children and they always do such a great job of celebrating each kid and making them feel so special. We started her during the height of covid and I was so impressed and felt so good about the precautions they were taking to ensure everyone's safety. Unfortunately we just moved out of the area and I wish so badly i could just transport Kiddies Korner up to northern CA with us. Great Director and Amazing Teachers! I'm a mom that works from home. I had a difficult time separating work and mom-time while my kids were home with an in-home nanny. I was also worried that I couldn't find the right daycare/preschool for my twin girls! YES 2 ACTIVE TWIN GIRLS! During my lunch hour, I had stopped by to check out Kiddies Korner. I was instantly amazed at all the students napping at the same time. As a mom of multiples, getting both kids to nap at the same time is key to a successful break. I knew at that moment that this daycare had a solid routine and it was exactly what I needed. I was so lucky to find Kiddies Korner to watch my children so that I could go back to work after the shutdown. Ms. Sanya is the director and she is the absolutely best at what she does. Both my son (on the preschool side) and daughter (on the infant side) attend Kiddies Korner, and we could not be more happy with the care they receive. Finding a place where your children can learn and are loved is very difficult, but our family was able to find it here at Kiddies Korner. Ms. Sanya, the director, does a great job, as well as all of the teachers. They all inform the parents of what has occurred during our children's day, and will often check-in with us to see how our little one's are doing; especially if they missed school that day. We love the monthly calendar schedule as well for the pre-school and pre-k side so we know what fun and educational events are coming up for our little guy. The greatest feeling any parent can have is when you hear your child tell you how much fun they had at school, and that they like going - which is the most important thing at such a young age. My son attended Kiddies Korner from about 4 months old to 2 years old. We all loved kiddies korner from the great Director to the individual amazing teachers, you can't go wrong placing your child here. Even as young as he was, they always had him doing all sorts of activities from painting to hanging out in the pool. They also made the cutest arts crafts projects for holidays! Kiddies Korner always informed when my son was showing atypical signs of behavior and kept me in the loop as to how he was doing. I always arrived to pick up an extremely happy kid and as a new mother Kiddies Korner made my transition back to work effortless because I was confident he was in good hands. I work near this child care center and was actually thinking about bringing my little one here due to it being so near my job! Well today I witness a horrible thing that ALL YOU MOMMIES need to be aware about!! I am a mother myself and when I saw this, I KNEW I HAD TO BRING IT TO YOUR ATTENTION. I came out to make a quick phone call, and there were (2) little kids about the age or 2 years of age RUNNING AROUND in the front yard for about 5 minutes, I of coarse stood around ready to run to the kids BECAUSE LITERALLY OAK KNOLL RD IS LIKE THE WORST STREET TO HAVE A SCHOOL OR A DAY CARE AT. CARS ARE ALWAYS SPEEDING, AND IT'S REALLY NARROW. Then, the lady that works there comes running out to grab the (2) kids FINALLY, and she treats them like bags just drags them back inside. I understand that she may have panicked but ITS YOUR JOB TO TREAT THESE KIDS WITH CARE, AND HAVE THEM SAFE AT ALL TIMES!!! Definitely after that, will NOT bring my son here!! I felt so luck to have found Kiddies Korner for my 10 month old son. Miss Sanya and her staff are very attentive and keep you updated with photos (his first few weeks attending it was very reassuring to get text photos because I missed him) and daily reports.. I always enjoyed getting to take home the end of day report to share with my husband, how much our son had ate, slept ect.. Kiddies korner proved to be very flexible for us, since I have a very irregular work schedule. I was able to schedule part time care and even drop ins on some days. Their prices are reasonable and I felt that they really engage the toddler age children. My son would bring home crafts he made, and the director even put on a holiday pageant with all the children who attend kiddies korner. We were so delighted to see our young son perform, how fun. We recently relocated to San Marcos so unfortunately we've had to find a new daycare/school but I certainly wish we could of kept him enrolled at Kiddies korner. One thing I dont like about Yelp is people mostly use this platform to write negative things. That coupled with the post from Anna O, prompted me to take action at least in this case. As parents who have actually been taking our kids to Kiddies Korner for over 2 years, I can say for certain that Kiddies Korner is a fully licensed center that truly cares about all of the kids. Our kids have been very well taken care of, no issues for over two years and they simply love going here. Kiddies Korner treats the kids like family, in fact, they tell my kids "i love you" and give them hugs and kisses when they come or go. I cannot say enough about Kiddies Korner, I would highly suggest them and that comes from actual experience, on a daily basis, for several years. We have dropped in and never seen anything unusual, all of the care providers are great! As for the negative post from Anna, I have issues with it. First, she does not have real experience with this place. Second, if these kids were out, why would you not go over there immediately and personally bring it to thier attention? If this actually happened and something had happened to those kids, you would be just as much to blame if not more because you sat back and just watched for 5 minutes! I know you said you were ready to take care of the situation if needed but that is ridiculous, you were across the street and things can happen very quickly, likely too quickly for you to react. How can a mother sit back and watch for 5 minutes as cars drive by (again....that is if this really happened which I doubt)??? Last, you have been on Yelp since 2011 with 22 friends and this is the one and only review you have written? Something doesnt add up and again, I really cant wrap my head around how someone can just sit back and watch. If this really happened and you really care, I suggest you reply to Kiddies Korner's response and discuss the matter with them. If you dont, it just further solidifies that there are some issues with your "story". read more
