I really love the teaching style that my kids have at Legacy Montessori. my daughter and my son attended for two years and kindergarten through second and 3rd-4th. The school teacher Friday is amazing, subject, including speech, intimate, and our favorite mandarin. this one for us to continue a passion for Mandarin and we still have those in Mandarin and now have a live-in aupair from China. The school snd teachers Teach, kindness, respect, and sharing. Really, many of the things most public schools do not take consideration off. Really, still to this day, I value and love that this school took the time to get to know each family, and each child individually. Their summer program is one of the most family-friendly we've found--an excellent opportunity for families to experience the school and see if it's a good fit. Over the years, our child has gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and developed solid math and reading skills. "Once we come across your name on the waitlist and a spot becomes available I will be in touch with you immediately." It's the end of January 2023 and I have yet to hear from them. My family and I waited and waited to hear from them, and were not able asses our childcare options properly due to their lack of communication. At this point, I don't believe there is even a waitlist anymore, and i just lost $150 at no fault of our own. If I had removed myself from the waitlist I would understand not getting a refund, but that is not the case. I'm still here waiting for them to "come across my name." We transferred our son to this location and what a breath of fresh air. Melinda the principal is AMAZING! She genuinely cares about each child enrolled here and their families. I can't sing enough praise about her and her leadership. The admin has also been great and are so on top of everything (Jessica and Angela). Our son was in the infant room and we had NO issues and knew our son was in great care. Even with COVID on the rise, I feel safer than ever sending my son back here. The staff has implemented a lot of protocol to ensure the kids are safe and my son has been so happy playing his his friends again. They have been extremely communicative and adaptable during these times and I know any child walking through that door will be in great hands.
