this was my first time coming to this location, i usually go to the one in SJ. you would think that a store meant for infants-children would have carts with a child seat but for some reason this location just doesn't. the items are prices wayyyyy higher at this location. i saw multiple newborn sized onesies for $8.99. they don't have the $1 bins for some reason? i'm just disappointed. read more

I brought in a variety of brand-new toys, clothes, and shoes, all in excellent condition. Unfortunately, none of the items were accepted. It was disappointing, especially considering the store promotes that they purchase gently used items--yet many of the products for sale appeared to be in much worse condition than what I brought. My least favorite location. It reminds me of the Holladay location right before they went out of business. Do yourself a favor, save yourself some time and just go to the salt lake location. It's the only one owned by the original owner. They consistently give fair prices, have the best selection and staff. read more

Good service and lots of cute newborn to middle school clothes. Went there first time since I am expecting in January 2025 wanted to see what clothes they had and it was amazing got couple hello kitty onesies and a lot of Carters as well. I brought in a big bag of gently used 3-4 year old clothing and only got $7! They also mixed my items up and I wonder if they put some of my items with someone else's. This was my first time here and I will NOT be returning to this location. I bought one item and ended up paying them since the item was $10. I should have just take. i was really disappointed with my service after reading the reviews I expected a little more welcoming environment but I felt a lot more judged in a way. Not much communication, workers were more focused talking amongst themselves. felt as if they were irritated with me for having questions about anything or even waiting up front to ring up my stuff. they had a good selection, lots of cute stuff super organized - but some of the pricing on certain items it was kinda more of a might as well buy it new at that point. as for the items I exchanged / sold - it was pretty fair, just again lack of any real communication. read more

Here is the deal. I buy and sell to kid to kid locations throughout the state. This location used to be one of my favorites. I could get cute name brand clothing for a great price and they would buy a lot of my clothes. Recently they haven't been buying as much and their clothes have gone up significantly in price. Like I wouldn't even buy some of this stuff from Facebook marketplace for how much they are asking. Sadly I don't think I'll be returning to this location. I had a great experience here yesterday! It was my first time going into a kid to kid. And this location is great. Friendly staff, smiles, easy parking, easy to get to, and tons of clothing selection that was well organized. I gotta tell you I usually get overwhelmed at 2nd hand or consignment stores but at this store everything was clearly labeled and organized by clothing type. Found the cutest name brand clothes and walked out spending under $15. They also have some unique finds like wooden toys, baby gear, books, copper pearl bibs, bow ties/suspenders, moccasins, and even saw some school uniforms there. This is my favorite kid to kid to go to even it is further than the other ones. Parking is convenience and I like their selections most out of all Utah locations. As I went in each time, employees are helpful and friendly. The owner is awesome! Just want to point out as a tip for anyone who is interested selling used items. Like most other resale stores, you only get a small amount of cash payout. I sell my items all the time at lot of other resale shops as well. No one can ever pay what you have in mind. The reason being is that no customers are shopping resale for expensive items. Resale stores would never price their items high and therefore the payouts are usually small. I've only been to one other Kid to Kid (the one in Holladay), but I like both locations about the same. The employees here at the Sandy location are friendly and helpful and there's a good selection of clothes, toys, and baby/kid gear. Most of the clothes I've seen in the store were in pretty good condition, and some of the baby clothes still have the original tags on them. Kid to Kid is one of the few secondhand stores I've found that carries maternity clothes, which I really appreciated when I was pregnant. And they run some pretty great sales every once in a while, so keep an eye out for those. One thing to note: The speed limit is 5 mph in the parking lot and there's a police station right next store, so drive slowly. read more

My family had a terrible experience today at this store. My wife and son came in the store only to be screamed at by one of the employees to get out. They are not allowing kids to come in the store, which is understandable right now. If that is the case, then that policy should be clearly displayed and visible from the outside of the store, and you should not have the little kid door unlocked! No kids = keep the kid door locked; makes sense to me. My 2-year-old cried hysterically for 45 minutes afterwards because he isn't used to adults screaming at him. We are people trying to come support your business reopening. Yelling at people when they come in and do not know all of your new rules that aren't displayed is a bad move. read more

I had a good experience at this location, the employee who helped me was really great. She helped look at all the strollers they had in stock. They were all in good condition, reasonably priced. I didn't expect to find a nice stroller in my price range but I got a great one that looked barely used. She even held the stroller for me until I was able to come back to get it. The clothes I got this time around were good condition as well and I like the return policy since some of the clothes I got don't fit my son. So I will be able to take them back for store credit. I don't feel like you get much for clothes or things you bring in, but it's better than DI if you're getting rid of stuff you might as well get some money. #LFTHX read more

I buy practically all of my sons clothes here. I always find cute items that are in good condition for great prices. My son is way to hard on clothes and out grows them way too fast to spend a lot on outfits. I've also sold a lot of clothes/accessories/toys here and it's always fast and easy and you get a very fair amount of $ for your stuff. The staff was nice but I took very high quality barely used name brand girls items size 14 that were higher quality and in better condition than anything I saw for sale on the shelves. I've tried to sell at this particular location twice, and had a horrible experience both times, I'll never go back after today. The first time I showed up during buying hours and barely made it through the door before I was told they were done buying for the day and I just left. Today, I went in with two big bags of clothes and approached the "sell here" counter with my husband and baby. One younger girl who worked there said hello, while an older lady barked from her seated position behind the counter "get back behind the black rug with those bags!" My husband sat the stuff down and the older woman asked if we'd donated before, we said yes, and the young girl asked us to please put the clothing in a basket she provided us and asked me to fill out the sell form. My husband grabbed it said no problem, and as I start writing, the older woman starts at it again telling us at her store they don't take stuff in bags and "if the clothes are wrinkled, I won't buy them, period." Uh what? Pretty damn elitist considering it's a second hand store. We said f it, and just left. I didn't bother to check any other items in the store to in fact confirm everything to be 100% wrinkle free, but I did have some nice Janie and Jack clothes to get rid of that had just been laundered and folded before put in the bag, if you can imagine it. We'll just drive to another location later, but when I called to complain about the rude woman, I was told it was the owner Tracy, and she'd already gone for the day. Save yourself the verbal abuse and hit up the next Kid2Kid to sell some biz, this one is a bust. read more
