So we end up leaving close to 10 from a 9 o'clock appointment when the treatments lasted about 15 minutes in total. And they only gave a toothbrush to one of them (thinking that they're going to share?).

I know going to the dentist probably isn't anyone's favorite thing to do, but everyone here from the receptionist, to the nurses, to Dr. Morrow himself does a great job at keeping anxiety low and making the process as trouble-free as possible. The entire office itself is very clean and well kept. The waiting room offers plenty of seats and a wide variety of magazines to read, including sports, technology, cooking, current events, and pop culture. The bathroom is spotless and well stocked. Most importantly the actual dentist office and equipment is pristine and maintained flawlessly. Dr. Morrow is a treasure. Compassionate, highly skilled, and very personable. He is a master at what he does and always makes the comfort of his patients his number one priority. But perhaps my favorite thing about Dr. Morrow is that he remembers every detail from our bi-yearly small talks. It's that extra personal touch that humanizes the experience of going to the dentist and makes this office so beloved.

Meanwhile, my insurance has been exhausted on procedures that I did not need, and I am now left paying out of pocket for treatments that was not necessary. This situation is extremely frustrating and disappointing. The staff working there are nice, but I feel like I got scammed. I am extremely disappointed with my experience, and the situation has only worsened after I shared my honest review. Since posting my feedback, I have been receiving excessive and persistent phone calls--up to 15 times a day pressuring me to remove my review. This behavior feels inappropriate, unprofessional, and harassing. In addition to the original issue where I came in for a specific painful tooth but received treatment on other teeth that I did not need I am now also being blamed for the treatment decisions that were made and recommended by the provider. This is unacceptable. Patients rely on dental professionals to diagnose and recommend appropriate care. Shifting responsibility onto the patient after the fact, especially when the outcome has been ongoing pain and financial burden, is deeply concerning. At this point, I am not only dissatisfied with the treatment itself but also with how this situation is being handled. I expect respectful communication not pressure, blame, or repeated unwanted calls. I am documenting this behavior and will take further steps if necessary

If done correctly I would have had an out of pocket charge of less than $25. Since they are in the plan the insurance company sends them the reimbursement check. Im still waiting for the dentist to remit me $72 I was overcharged. I must say if it wasnt for this incident I was ready to switch from my current dentist. I did find Dr Shih to be a good dentist and her assistants were very professional. Unfortunately, by having me pay out of pocket despite taking my insurance has made me rethink the change.
