Last visit was for a split molar, I was told they do not take the insurance, I paid out of pocket for tooth removal. I was told this is after multiple visits. Now I am receiving notification for a bill over $700 and I have insurance. Why would anyone go to a dentist out of network unnecessarily! We would have found another dentist in network. FYI they took all the insurance info prior to scheduling the 1st visit as a new patient for all 3 children.

I make it habit to arrived to medical appointments on time to show I respect their time. I haven't been here since last year because they are not respective of their patients' time. I was called in for X-rays which took 5-6 minutes. Next, I was asked to be seated outside both hygienist's room to wait. As I'm waiting time is going by so I'm here 35 minutes and the cleaning of my teeth have not begun. I support all my union efforts so I use the recommended vendors and I take care of my teeth so it's not intensive work to be done. Therefore, in and out should be the way. I think Hutchinson Metro Dental practice is proficient in the actual cleaning of my teeth but inefficient in scheduling. I think I'll be leaving at 2:30 even though I arrived on time. It's 1:44 now and I'm still waiting. I left the dentist at 2:35. Also the waiting area is still too small even though covid restrictions have been lifted they need more space. Receptionists are genuinely customer friendly but the rest of the staff fake friendly. I'm going to give 3 stars because the facility is clean and the skills of medical staff are good.
