Hand down the BEST place to take your kids to. I have taken my daughter to a different dentist before and she was scared to go alone . as a first time father I wanted to be with my little one at all times but i wasn't allowed in the back. I found out that she had lots of cavities. my friend had recommend kid focus dentistry because they let the parents in the back area at all times. from the first time I called kid focus dentistry I felt like they cared for me and my little one. It didn't take long to get in for her first dental appointment. the hours are perfect for a working parent or with kids in school. the whole staff and the doctor were wonderful. They made sure I understood everything and seat with me until I was done with all my questions that I may had at the time. Dr. even went over her xrays with me. Super talented ninja dentist! We were referred to this dentist so my 6-year-old could have a tooth pulled. The referring dentist said that having the tooth pulled with nitrous would help my son to avoid being traumatized. Kid Focus let him choose his own cartoon to watch on a flat screen mounted to the ceiling above him, let him listen to it thru headphones, had his name written on a glowing blackboard when we walked in, and made him super comfortable. While distracted visually and audibly by the cartoon, the nitrous made him relaxed and giggly. Then, the dentist administered 7 shots and pulled his tooth. My son never saw the shots or knew they were coming. He said a small "ouch" when the tooth was pulled out, but otherwise, smiled and chuckled through the whole experience. He left with a giant smile (minus one tooth) and was never scared, nervous, or crying. This is the only dentist I will bring my kids to ever again. She and her whole team were awesome!! Holy cow this place is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My son had a very traumatic dental experience and was very fearful of the dentist but not anymore!!! Kid Focus was amazing from the first time I called in, the front desk was very friendly help with my insurance really went above and beyond before we even walked in the door. Once the day of the appointment came (less than a week) we were greeted with giant friendly smiles right away my son was already feeling better, there was no wait time at all the place was immaculately clean and decorated very cute with characters on the wall and TVs on the ceiling. They were very patient even when he was fearful they rewarded him through out the entire process. The doctor was very friendly using cute kid terms with my son she even took into consideration he was scared and took off her white coat to put him at ease. This was such a wonderful experience for our family! I have a serious aversion to the dentist and really don't want to pass that along to my kiddo. We tried another dentist in Lakewood and ended up leaving before even seeing the dentist because the feeling was just bad. At Kid Focus we were greeted immediately by the amazingly friendly staff, my two year old was excited to play in the lobby area where the toys were great and clean and organized. When we went back to see the dentist I was so pleased by the open layout! It made me feel so comfortable. The staff was really great and kind to us and our son. Since it was his first visit they kept it super simple to get him adjusted. He got a toothbrush and a balloon and wanted to stay when the appointment was over! I would recommend this place to anyone! We are lucky to only live 15 minutes away but I would drive a long way to come here - it's totally worth it. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by how EVERYONE treated us, from the moment I walked in the door everyone greeted us with a warm smile. When they took us back they gave us a tour of the entire place, explaining everything to my son. They took x-rays of Dante's teeth (with this new and improved machine) showed him his teeth. Then thoroughly explained everything to him before they did anything. Now, my son is very shy but I even saw him crack a smile from time to time. I was extremely please with them; they exceeded my standards. Plus my son loved the experience as well, let me tell you, he left with a HUGE, BRIGHT smile on his face, a balloon animal wrapped in his arm, and silly band on his wrist. ** THEY ARE ALL ABOUT THE KIDS! My son Tyler had his first appt. @ Kid Focus Dentistry today, and we were both impressed! The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and they made Tyler and I feel like we were long-time patients already! Tyler is in a great transition of life after losing his little brother Luke. He has had to change homes and neighborhoods in a recent move, as well as making the change to middle school this year, but he is adjusting well due to his faith in God. Unlike the previous reviewer, my experience with Dr. Ngo (and all her staff) is beyond words! Few months ago, I took my twin girls there for their first ever check up. My girls enjoyed every minute in the office, being surrounded by absolutely amazing and welcoming staff. Everyone, from Dr. Ngo to other, non-medical persons are extremely professional, caring and kind. The office is very clean, bright and nicely arranged to welcome young patients. One of my girls needed to have a tiny intervention in the following week and she simply couldn't wait to come back to the doctor's! My son, is 17 and due to a very very bad incident when he was younger could not be gotten into the dentist chair for anything, it took me years to even get him to consider going. Thank God for the staff at Kid Focus in Wheat Ridge... he needs 7 more visits to get his mouth healthy again, but some how they managed not only to get him to sit in the chair the first time, he is actually excited to go in for the rest of his visits and has a new appreciation for his teeth and someplace he finally trusts to help him take care of them, I am personally delighted at the staff, their business practice and their over all care and concern just for my son we received from the moment we came in! read more

I just have to say Kid Focus Dentistry is an amazing place to take your kids. They have so many things to keep your children occupied while they get work done. Its a very clean and fun dentist. The staff there are amazing and they are all kid friendly. My daughter started going to the dentist here and will continue to go here. They keep up on calling back in a timely matter and they are good at reminding you of appointments and when your due for cleanings. My daughter has got so much good work done here and they continue to give her the comfort that dentist aren't all that scary. Its not only for kids but also for young adults. Fantastic Staff! On a Saturday, I noticed that the open sign was on and it peaked my interest. I walked in off the street to take a look. Dr. Ngo and her staff were very inviting and professional. They showed us around the office and showed my son how everything worked! By the time we left I had made an appointment for the next Saturday to get both my kids teeth cleaned! The office hours are very accommodating! When it was time for my youngest son to get his cavities filled he was very nervous but by the time we left he told me that it wasn't bad at all!! I am so impressed with Kid Focus Dentistry! The experience was great for both my daughter and myself. We have seen another pediatric dentist in the past where parents were not permitted to go into the examining room with their child so I never really knew what was going on. At Kids Focus not only was I allowed to accompany my daughter they also gave us a tour of the facility. My daughter was a little nervous and they were very patient telling her step by step what procedure they would be doing, she actually left with a smile on her face! Wow, this is the best dentist ever i take my kids there about two years and they love the dentist, they cant wait until its time for the next cleaning.They prefer only this place, the stuff is very nice and the doctor is very friendly, patient,high prifessionalism, she has the answer for every question. My kids like the tv on the ceiling, the baloon animals, and the little prices for no having any cavities. Some times i forget when is the time for the next check up, but the personal are very good with reminder they send post cards, and call me to set up the appointment and i really appreciate it.I highly recommend this office to everybudy. read more

I am a cautious parent who knows that a bad experience at a dentist at an early age will be an even bigger problem later. I was surprised and impressed at how much my son loved his experience with KidFocus. The techs were sincere and kind and the dentist was fantastic. At first, my 3 year old son did not want to get his teeth x-rayed. The tech did not make a fuss and continued with the visit. By the end of the visit, my son actually wanted to do the x-ray himself. My 6 and 2 year old daughters love going to the dentist. It really means a lot, for me as a parent, to know that my two girls are not scared and worried. They have the most kids friendly environment that is very clean and always organized. I'm extremely impressed with Dr. Ngo work; she has a special heart for children and a gentle touch.
