Listen, you're going to walk in and say "Really? This place? Is she serious?" Hear me out.... My kiddos have clothes form Nordstroms and Neimans, Bloomies and high end snooty boutiques. They also wear clothes from cheap stores like this. There's a place for stuff from here in every kid's wardrobe. Basic tanks to mix with expensive items for just $1.99. I mean, you know the second you put that white tank on your child, they're eating cherries, chocolate or falling in a mud puddle and it's trash. Why spend it? At $2 a tank, who cares if you throw it out. The place is umm, "interesting" but you can, with patience find some cheap gems! $6 shorts, $1 bow headbands, pjs for $8. I mean c'mon. The quality depends on the item. Obviously use your best judgement. We've really never had an issue though.
While places like Target and such offer some cheap deals like this, every other kid in America will probably have it as well. I find trendy goods here no other kids would ever have!! Love that!
My kids always look adorable if I do say so myself. I have a degree in fashion design and design children's items so I think I have a pretty good eye and I think my opinion is thoroughly backed up. I'm not too proud to say I get a bargain sometimes. I spend enough money on everything else for them including schooling that cost more that my husband's college tuition (not mine, I went to special school), grabbing some cheap deals sometimes just works. Give it shot for some play clothes. It's nice to sometimes not have a panic attack over their expensive outfits when they're out there getting messy aka being kids. There's a time and a place for this stuff. Just don't expect Saks or even Marshall's for that matter when you're walking in there and you'll be fine. read more
