The clerk was aloha friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. After thoroughly inspecting the car, he made several recommendations for our classic car and explained the needs. We replaced a required lightbulb so the car would pass inspection. I highly recommend SMP if you need service for your bike or inspection for your vehicle. Parking is limited and difficult to find in the complex. Probably it's best to call for an appointment.

Not as cheap as people think, but maintenance service and replacement of worn parts on your motorcycle is also not to bad. Stay on top of your maintenance. People may not realize what a delicate instrument a motorcycle is, and mine is 10 years old! Call around and you will see that Ted's prices are competitive and he is passionate about bikes and fixing them correctly. He has my business from now on. More parts to come. 4/6/19 Just picked up my bike from Ted. I had valve adjustment done, new intake gaskets, and front fork rebuild (probably from wheelies). The problem is that you can't really see any of that. So I also opted to get LED lights installed. You know, for visibility at night (riiight...). As always, Ted does amazing work and my bike (I wanna say purrs like a kitten...but) ROARS like a lion!!! Yes, fixing a bike is expensive and if you can't afford quality work, perhaps you don't make enough to be a bike owner (or do your own wrench work). Ted is the man. Thanks again Ted!

He took my tires off, removed my front forks and then took the parts to the powder coater for me. My bike was stored there for the 3 weeks while we waited for the powder coating to be completed. He then picked up my rims and forks when they were ready, and coordinated with the guy to ceramic coat the parts before putting the bike all back together. Eric did a fantastic job and went over and above to make things happen. He was very reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed working with Eric at Sycho Motorsports.

But they drilled all that shit on anyway without letting me see first. Whenever I asked for pics of the parts before I got it installed, they said they didn't have any. Anyway, the front lip doesn't match the angles on my bumper so it's probably for a different year Impreza and the mud flaps are obviously wrong too, there are floating screws that went through the mud flap but have nowhere to go on the car so they're just... There screwed into "thin air" LMAO literal joke. I can't even fathom it. What if the screws fall off & get stuck in my tire??? Literally never doing business here again & I suggest you don't either. Such a shame that they used to be a such good "name" in Hawaii but obviously they've gone downhill. I wanted to do so much with my car & would've given them so much business. I even wanted to full-body wrap my car & a lot of my friends said "I heard Tokyo Auto-" but the way I cut them off & told them my story & their reactions... The best part of this shop is the friendly staff and customer service they provide. They are always willing to help me find the parts I need. They literally go above and beyond to help you make sure that they parts you need are the right parts and sometimes not being knowledgeable of the parts I need, they're not the type to be standoffish when you're trying to explain what you need. An example of going above and beyond was my last visit when I needed a certain fastener, this one staff worker literally went through each display to find the exact type and size fastener I needed. Going through the shelves, he finally found what I needed. I forgot his name, but definitely want to shout out the top notch customer service he gave. I hadn't been to this shop in a while, but it's pretty much the same--located in the industrial area of Waipahu. One nice update is their new waiting area, which is outside the shop with great ventilation. They also sell food now, which is a cute touch for waiting customers. It's industrial af so don't wear anything you don't want to get dirty there They don't take appointments--walk-ins only--but even though it was busy, I was in and out within an hour.
