Beautiful lights but mine are less than 5 years old and stopped working today. They have been discontinued and no way to repair them. I am not asking for or expecting a free repair. I am willing to pay for the repair. I would think the company would be more proactive in helping their customers. Their customer service was pleasant and as helpful as she was allowed. I purchased a fan and my order was missing crucial parts. The screws that fasten the fan blades to the arms that spin that connect to the centerpiece so I had to take screws out from my old fan so that I can attach them and I was missing the two pole chains that attached to the center fan piece to turn the fan and lights on and off this company does not care enough about their customers to ensure that all parts are packaged correctly because of this I had to go through the frustration of having additional parts sent to me, which happened to be the incorrect parts so I had to purchase missing parts with my own money so that I can finish installing my fan I would not buy from this company again. This company does not care enough about their customers to ensure their packaging is correct must I have made at least three phone calls trying to resolve this issue just to have them incorrectly send me the wrong parts. All i needed were 2 pull chain extensions for my fan and they sent me this whole piece again with the missing chains. Value and frustration not worth the price of the fan. I would have avoided this company if i knew how careless they were. read more

I was a landscape contractor for 45 years & sold & installed their product regularly. They promise lifetime warranties & informed me that should be used as a selling point to justify the added costs which I did. The problem is they do not honor their warranties which put me in a tuff position with my customers. Even now, 5 years after retiring, I had a lifetime warranty 600 watt transformer go bad at my own house & they won't honor the warranty even when it states they offer lifetime warranties in a search of their business on line. Kichler USED to make excellent products in USA, and did the engineering here too. Then the patriarch croaked and all the children sold out the company and scurried away; selling the company out to the Chinese. Hundred or so good workers thrown out of a job, and not much to show for it. The one light-in-the-loafers kid now fashions himself a cultural savant and collects "art"; This is ironic -- because Kichler used to MANUFACTURE art...they were top of the line. Well, the bean counters at Kichler (owned by Masco Corp.) have found a way to squeeze out more profit by making a low quality light fixture. I removed the globe to clean out the dust and dead bugs. After rinsing out the globe, I went to dry it and found that a film coating was all that made this globe appear frosted. The coating easily wiped off, and now I will have to find a way to replace the globe. This was not an inexpensive box store light, either! The new business motto seems to be "pay more, get less" these days. How disappointing!! No more Kichler lights for me! read more

I bought ten of their outdoor spotlights. On the box it says that the LED bulbs are warranted for 5 years or 25000 hours. One of the bulbs burnt out after a year. When I contacted Kichler they gave me some BS about those being starter bulbs. Will not ever buy their products again. read more

Terrible customer service. It is non-existent. Called about a missing part. Was sent a spec sheet to identify exact part. Emailed back the part name (according to their info) and haven't heard anything back at all. I've emailed multiple times. This is a pendant light that they currently sell. I've never left feedback, but it's warranted after this experience. Ordered multiple channels and lens for project in December. In talking with the rep, the lens was discontinued shortly after my purchase. Stated I should call Kichler, I've now been on hold or in queue, hung up on, and sent to voicemail with their automated phone system too many times to count. I've spent nearly 2 hours attempting to talk to a human and have a replacement overnighted. There is absolutely no way I could recommend using this company or their products. read more

I ordered a couple of lights and returned them because they were low quality for the price & were not going to work for us. Neither Kichler or Houzz pays for return shipping so be sure you're going to keep anything you order or you'll have a large shipping fee. Super disappointed. read more

Paid a lot of money for deck lights, lasted about 2 years, called and asked for help explaining that the lights were designed incorrectly and literally too weak at the "down stem" and just falling apart from the wind and told sorry that the warranty is 1 year - $350 per light - AVOID - You'll notice no reviews on Facebook - they've turned reviews off undoubtedly because of horrible reviews. read more
