Kibako strikes again (in a good way!) This time I ordered the Sakura Chirashi Don and strawberry sandos, and both were delicious, as always. They give generous portions of fresh fish, and my favorite part of the meal is the homemade wasabi and soy mixture - absolutely delicious! I am a proud repeating customer!

Thank god for Yelp, otherwise I would have never discovered Kibako. They are situated inside of the TKS store in the corner of the plaza and are ran by a sweet couple. Straight to business: 3 ITEMS, $140, FRESH WASABI, EXCELLENT PACKAGING. More than enough for 2 people. Kibako Chirashi Don - I really enjoyed the variety in the chirashi don and can't choose which fish I liked the most. The flavoring and temperature of the rice was excellent. The softness and bite of the fish is what you would expect for what you paid 10/10. Tokusen Aburi Nigiri - an absolute must. I split this with my girlfriend and these were some of my favorite bites. Can never beat the torched taste sometimes. Kiwami Toro Don - arguably my favorite of the three. Everything was so tasty and the little bit of uni with ikura was the best way to finish the entire box. It felt wrong to not one bite the fish and I felt greedy when I did. All in all I spent roughly $140 for these 3 items and you might think that's expensive but for the quality, customer service, packaging, and attention to detail, every dollar was well worth it. I would say this takeout rivaled some of the omakase I've been to and I'm going to make it a mission for myself to grab Kibako every time I drive through Chino.

The fish on the nigiri were super fresh and tasty! I ordered the seared nigiri and combo nigiri and every piece just melts in the mouth. There wasnt a single piece where I didnt enjoy it. Definitely the freshest and best tasting sushi in the area! Aside from the food, I have to say, the staff were the friendliest I have met! They seemed to be very dedicated to their craft. This alone made the experience of enjoying the takeout sushi that much better.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST SUSHI I'VE HAD IN CALIFORNIA! I coincidentally found this place while looking at restaurants near my area & I am so glad I did. We ordered the tamago sando, strawberry fruit sando, sakura chirashi don, and takumi nigiri. The highlights of the meal were definitely the chirashi don & takumi nigiri set. It was really high quality and every piece was phenomenal. Each bite and chew I took kept getting better and better. The strawberry sando wasn't overly sweet & the fluffy bread provided just the right amount of sweetness. The tamago sando was on the lighter side & the egg to bread ratio was perfect. Overall, I would definitely come back here! I would also recommend this to family, friends, & anyone that loves sushi! 100000/10! I'm so glad I found my new go to sushi spot!

I recently ordered the Hikari Mori Nigiri, which includes 5 pcs of nigiri and 5 pcs of seared nigiri of bluefin tuna, salmon, yellowtail, red snapper, and scallop. And it was divine! Their sauces are homemade, and they use fresh wasabi. I appreciate the fair price ($40), the hospitality, and the ease of online ordering for pickup. Just a heads up: they only offer takeout and are open from Friday to Sunday, 11AM - 3PM. I'm so glad I found this gem, will totally be back for more.

I've been wanting to try this place! I'm glad I gave it a try! I ordered 2 different boxes of nigiri and it was amazing. Everything piece was super fresh. The way they packaged the sushi was so pretty! I had to wait a little while since it took a while to make. They were super nice and offered some fruit sandos! The fruit sandos were super delicious too! Can't wait to come back and order more.

I am so glad to find this hidden gem sushi spot!! It's hidden in the corner of a shopping center. Their sushi and sashimi bento box are super fresh and delicious!! The presentation is beautiful and the owner Steven and his wife did an excellent job of preparing the food. I also got the tamago sandwich and it tastes just like the ones in Japan!! I highly recommend to call in to order or u can order online so your food will be ready when you get there. They pack everything in an insulated bag with ice to keep the food fresh! I will definitely come back when I am in the area!!

I tried their sushi box and fruit sando...and I loved them equally!! They're not only beautifully presented but also taste amazing. I love the fact that they use Japanese bread for the sando. It's soft and the cream is not too sweet which makes it perfect. The fruit is incredibly fresh and the portions are very generous as well. I would highly recommend them. These would also make a wonderful gift!

Super easy to place an order online and go pickup! I ordered the Hikari Mori Nigiri and Nigiri Moriwase and it was delicious! Quality of the fish was great and packaging is immaculate- they give you ice and fresh wasabi as well if you ask! When you go pickup, they bring it out to you so you don't have to get out of your car! They're only open on weekends so make note of that. I will return and try their sandos next time!

I like that we can order ahead so i ordered it a day prior. My order was still being prepared when I arrived, but the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even offered to let me wait in my car and said they would bring my order out when it was ready. I declined and waited outside, and it didn't take long at all. They were thoughtful and even asked if I wanted ice packed with my food to help keep it fresh, which I really appreciated. Great customer service and a wonderful experience! When I brought the food home, everything looked beautiful and was packaged really well. The fish was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious, especially the uni. I'm usually hesitant to order uni because it can sometimes be too fishy or have an unpleasant taste, but this one was amazingly fresh--it tasted like it had just been opened and prepared. The egg sando was surprisingly filling, but it was so good that I still finished the whole thing! I also tried the mixed fruit sando, and although I expected it to be very sweet, it was perfectly balanced. It was light, refreshing, and made the perfect dessert after the egg sando, nigiri, and Don. Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded my expectations, will be back! Note: it's take out only, no dine in for anyone wondering!

    Hikari Mori Nigiri

The best nigiri and chirashi you can get in the IE! The quality of the fish and ingredients is unmatched for this area, and the craftsmanship of the nigiri is top tier. Everything is fresh, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. Highly recommend supporting this place! It's also super easy to order ahead and pick up, which makes it even better.

    Egg sando

my first Kibako order didn't disappoint. I ordered the Takumi Nigiri, Kiwami Toro Don and the Egg Sando. So good! I don't need to drive to OC & LA when I'm craving for good quality nigiri and Toro Don. Uni was also the best uni I had in a long time. no soy sauce needed the freshly grated wasabi was all I needed just how I like it.

Chino's hidden gem! Everyone go try Bengee Sushi!…read more We were in Chino over the weekend for some board games and randomly searched for a lunch spot nearby. Ended up at Bengee Sushi and... wow. Completely exceeded expectations. I honestly didn't know Chino had such solid Japanese food We both ordered their Lunch Specials -- around $25 each, which is such a great deal. Since I'm not a big tempura person, we skipped the bento boxes and went straight for the good stuff. We got one Chirashi Bowl, and the moment it came out we were shocked. So much sashimi! Thick cuts, super fresh, and none of that fishy leftover-trim vibe. The sushi rice underneath was really good too -- not overly sweet or sour, just balanced. The other dish we ordered was the Sashimi Lunch, and again, super generous portion with way more variety than I expected. No shortcuts, no skimping. It also comes with miso soup and salad, both clean and tasty. We added hot tea, which hit the spot on a colder day. That feeling of "randomly picking a place and accidentally finding a great spot" is honestly unmatched They also offer a $79 omakase, plus a more premium $135 one (reservation required). After seeing how generous they are with their lunch portions, I'm definitely coming back for that next time. In short: amazing value. If you love sashimi and find yourself in Chino, this place is absolutely worth the visit.

This place is unreal and every time we come here we are blown away with how good it is!…read more This review is long overdue! The rolls are stuffed so big that they can barely fit in your mouth, the fish is incredibly fresh, and the variety is top notch. Some of our favorites include... the sunset, 4 corner, the crunch hand roll, the Cajun yellowtail, the samurai , and the salmon belly. Holy cow the 4 corner roll is our new favorite! What the heck the magical seared Cajun salmon literally melts in your mouth. And because it's Cajun it has those smoky flavors that mesh so well with the sauces. Our eyes were rolling to the back of our heads with this one. Sunset is our go to. Salmon outside and crab inside. Perfection and the bite size portions are huge! The crunch roll was ginormous!!! So good! I was craving a shrimp tempura roll but wanted the nori so this hit the spot. It had shrimp tempura, avocado, and an overflowing amount of crab! We loved the 4 corner roll so much, our server recommend the Cajun yellowtail nigiri.... Insane. The samurai was really good too. Shrimp tempura, crab, and avocado inside and spicy tuna and fried eel outside. The salmon belly was crazy good. I've never tasted salmon so soft and melty. Asha our server was so so amazing! She brought us the salmon belly on the house, she was patient, kind, attentive, and so friendly :) Please do not hesitate to come here when you are craving some good sushi, great service, and the best ambiance!!!! Our favorite hands down!

WILL NOT BE RETURNING. poor food quality and service, but on top of that, terrible management.

They are celebrating their 20 years anniversary by offering 50% off all sushi and rolls. It's all day Happy Hour. We ordered Monkey Balls. It's deep fried spicy tuna with mushroom. It comes beautifully presented. It tasted pretty good but I cannot taste the tuna. The mushroom taste overpowered the tuna. All I can taste was the mushroom. It was still tasty nonetheless. We also had Rainbow roll and Salmon Lover roll. Both of these were delicious. My favorite was the Rainbow roll. I liked the assortment of raw fish on this roll. We ordered the Yellowtail roll under the regular rolls menu so we can compare and see the difference of a regular roll versus the premium rolls. The regular roll was a bit boring. I recommend skipping the regular rolls. All the sushi tasted fresh. Waitress was friendly. This place is nice and clean. There is plenty of parking since it is part of a large shopping center. It's a great casual sushi spot, perfect for smaller groups/families. It even has ikura and uni with the assorted sashimi in the bowl. Highly recommend for the price! - Salmon kama (collar), $8.99: this is a HUGE salmon collar portion for the price, and it's absolutely delicious.
