KHT does the BEST pedicures in the area. They are very thorough & it's a truly relaxing experience. I always walk out feeling a lot less tense thanks to their amazing calf & foot massage & hot stone treatment. The forearm massage that comes with the manicure is great as well & my only complaint is that the quality of my polish is hit or miss. However, everyone is very nice & willing to fix any issue if you ask. Also, I have found that the price is unbeatable. I just got an acrylic fill here and am giving 3 stars because the manicurist was nice & did a good job actually painting the nails, but the shaping was horrible. I left with super short acrylic nails that are actually the same length as my regular nail because she kept taking more and more off of each nail to try to make them all the same shape... which they still are not. Young Nails III.. I was cut and bled not once, not twice.. THREE times. Once during my pedicure she sliced the top of my toe with the nail file, and twice during my manicure she drew blood with the cuticle trimmer. Pedicure and manicure nail filing was painful as they went way too low and into the sensitive skin below the nail. When pushing back cuticles they were heavy handed and painful. Leg scrub hurt as she was SO strong handed and vigorous I thought my skin was going to be scrubbed off, no joke. Also, I'm all about thorough but my god, the amount of times the manicurist kept going back to cut at my cuticles felt OCD-ish. Positives: leg massage with oil was nice, hot stones were nice, hot towel neck massage was decent-ish, nails were painted pretty well. Honestly couldn't relax from all the pain/bleeding and now I'm afraid of contracting an infection. read more

Let me start off by saying that the "extras" they provide for normal mani / pedi prices are unsurpassed. They massage your legs with scrubs, lotions, hot stones, and a hot towel after your pedicure! Then once you're under the nail dryer they come and massage your neck, back and shoulders with a hot towel! Wow! The actual nail work - clipping, trimming, cleaning out, polishing - is average. We found 1-2 of the staff members to be pleasant but the rest were not. And while they didn't struggle when it came to swiping my debit card, it was very evident that they struggled with dealing with non-Caucasian clientele. The girl that did the pedicure was very nice and accommodating, and the EXTRAS (scrub, massage, hot stones) that are included in the regular manicure are wonderful! The manicure was nice too but the pedicure is what I'll be coming back for. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of little details. They should have liners in the foot tubs, have one time use files and brushes, and the stainless steel tools should be in sterilization bags and opened in front of the client. I am sad to change my 5 star to a one star review. I was literally 5 min late to my appointment for a mani/pedi/eyebrow/lip wax and they told me I could no longer get my pedi (after they let me take the time to pick out my colors - nothing was said when I first arrived)! It was the first time I went out post partum without my kid. What was supposed to be a relaxing day turned into a terrible day. I have been a long standing customer there and they know I am usually never late. I had extenuating circumstances that made me late. Also last time I was there they cut my finger when they did my cuticle - they did the same to a friend I had brought there earlier in May as well. I previously brought friends there, came monthly. The owner and staff know me well. To treat a regular customer like this because of literally being 5 min late once is just inexcusable. Went in for a Gel Manicure. Very unhappy. The technician cut my cuticle and my skin. She said sorry, wiped up the blood and continued. This included putting rubbing alcohol on it she she wiped my nails down. In the end there were air bubbles in some nails and streaks in the nails. Terrible. read more

Made an appointment for 2 pedicures (myself and wife) and when I arrived all of the chairs were full and I was asked to wait. Been waiting 20 minutes already and still not getting my pedicure yet. Why make an appointment if you are going to have to wait? Probably wouldn't mind the wait so much, but I have a tight schedule today and now have to cancel my next task. Also this place is not that beautiful inside, stains on the carpet and dirty mirrors on the wall, not what was expected from other reviewers, makes me second guess if they were actual customers??? If I could give this place a million stars I would! Never have I ever had a technician take so much care when performing a pedicure. Seriously, my feet were scrubbed, nails buffed, calves scrubbed and massaged, just to name a few. Though, they were full, my wait was short. Efficiency at its best! So much time was given to my pedicure that, I realized I was going to be late for an appointment I had across the street. I told the technician not worry about the polish because I had to run and I would do it home. She said not too worry. Come on back when my appointment was over and she would finish it up. What?!?! Awesome points! As if it couldn't get any better, I only had sneakers so she grabbed a new pair of flip flops for me to wear home so as to not mess up my polish. Talk about customer service!!! If there was a zero-graded star I'd select it. Walked in for a pedicure. Asked to select a color. After I paid and gave the girl a $5 tip, she came back to me and said she forgot to charge me an extra $3 for the color I chose because it was a "longlasting" color. I paid the $3. Upon exiting, I said to the owner that she should put a sign indicating the additional charge for certain colors. She responded all salons charge for that, it was my mistake i should have known. I asked friends who said they never heard of such a charge. It wasn't a gel or anything special, just ESSIE with a twisted shaped bottle, which i think is just a new shape. Once I got home I realized I had top coat all over my toes and my cuticles, still apparent, were covered in polish. I went back and had them redo the cuticles, which they never did originally, and repolish. If you have money to throw away on a scam and poor business practices as well as additional time in your day for 2 pedicures, please frequent Young Nails. Otherwise stay far far away. read more

Best pedicure ever. Cannot speak for the manicure as I've never had one there, but the pedicure is at least 30 minutes long if not longer, and includes a hot stone massage! A gel pedicure is $45 which cannot be beat! The staff is courteous and accommodating. I don't have any specific technician recommendations - they are all great! the first time I had a manicure and pedicure with Hanna and it was great. the second time I went, Eric gave me a pedicure and jammed the cuticle so hard on one of my toes it bled and was sore for a week. during this second visit I was then passed off to Anna who torn a cuticle on my hand during my manicure. she was very amateur. the pedicure is nice with the massage and the hot rocks as others have said but I won't go again to this salon . Ive never had bleeding cuticles before from a manicure or pedicure and in one day here I did in two places. i would say the staff are inconsistent in their expertise. if you get one of the more experienced staff your experience should be better than mine. read more

First time I came here I came without an appointment for a mani and pedi and told them I didn't have that much time because I had to get back to my daughter. I've had wonderful experiences with both their gel nails and pedicures. One rare time I had a few nails peel very early in a gel mani. Worst waxing experience EVER! Had my lip and eyebrows waxed and the girl waxed off 1/4 of one of my eyebrows and then giggled about it when I expressed my displeasure. My right eyebrow is longer and thicker than my left ( and is clearly ridiculous looking). After demanding someone else step in ( which she did) too much damage had already occurred. It is bad enough to make an error but to laugh about it and then continue to do more damage is unacceptable. I spoke with the manager Anna who just stared at my eyes and did nothing to offer an apology or even seemed the least bit interested that I was unhappy. She too just "laughed it off". Very nice place! They play nice relaxing music rather than a blaring tv or radio. The place never slowed down while I was there. The hot rock massage is part of the pedicure. They also massage your shoulders with a warm pack while your fingers and toes dry. Lots and lots of colors to choose from. There were 3 employees there and they all rotated around to care of everyone, so I wasn't sure who to tip! The employees were all really nice too. So, I went here to get my nails and toes done for my wedding with my sisters as a small bridal shower event. I had a few images of what I liked. I showed them what I wanted, and they couldn't do it. Eventually, I got to one they COULD do. So, I picked a pedicure color to match, and they started with that. After the pedicure, as I was sitting for my manicure, I was told they actually COULDN'T do the design I wanted--the one I had matched my toes to after they'd said they could. I got upset. I showed them picture after picture after picture of other stuff I'd be okay with and they couldn't do any of them. I was told that the images I was showing were "professional" and they could only do the examples they had on their pallet. That would have been fine, if they'd told us that when we first walked in. And these were nails for my WEDDING. I was under the impression that they WERE professionals. I was also told I was wasting their time because they'd given me a two hour appt. Again, if they'd been upfront from the start and hadn't lied they could do a certain design, I wouldn't have "wasted their time"--I would have gone to a place that was professional. So, I asked for a moment and went to the parking lot and cried. I decided it doesn't matter if it matched, just get a basic French and get out of there. When I went in, they told me they had another appt and no one in the salon could help me. FOR MY WEDDING NAILS. That they'd already ruined. But, it all worked out. I went down the street to Angel Tips and they did the exact design that matched the toes without a fuss. Guess they are the "professionals" that young nails iii admitted they themselves are not. Do yourself a favor: just go to angel tips. They're a minute away, the atmosphere is nicer, the people are nicer, it's cleaner, and they'll do exactly what you ask for (or at the very least, try). read more
