The hoagie tray was large and just the right sized for our group of 20 along with a side salad I whipped up. I had also picked up a t7na hoagie for the pregnant woman at our event. (I hadn't known they shouldn't eat deli meats.) However, I almost triggered an allergy when she flagged just in time that they included unexpected walnuts. Probably tastes great but be forwarned. But I was definitely curious and my son who lives in Philadelphia sometimes shops here. It seemed massive to me, and there were so many things I had no idea what they were. The only thing I bought were several different types of cookies, which I liked a lot. They were made with mung beans! Something I'd like to point out is that the the ladies bathroom was absolutely filthy! Something disturbing I saw that I wished I could unsee was a large pair of tongs hung over the filthy wastepaper basket. All I could think of was a kitchen employee needed to use the bathroom, and placed the tongs there while she did her business. But was she going to wash those when she got back to the kitchen or just use them without washing? Such a gross, unsightly thing to see!

Deli counter in the back, plenty of junk food, get your paper and a pack of smokes if you crave them and your good to go. It is pretty bad ass that they have a section devoted to British items. As Chrissy R. noted you can pick up an abundance of Lucozade, HP Sauce, and other treasures that are pretty rare for a store like here. But calling it IRISH Food and IRISH Sweets is pretty misleading since most of the foods are far from Irish tradition. As a gent who's 75% Irish that was craving some Irish Potatoes and McCann's Steel Cut Oatmeal this place nearly had me crying :( Despite the sacrilege it is a pretty solid convience store that goes a bit above most typical convience stores. And the window displaying Hookahs definitely has me most curious.

The meat was moist, tasty, properly salted, with a discernible bark. The amount of cheese, sauerkraut, & dressing accentuated the pastrami, although so much meat would be hard to impact! It needed the long spear to stay together. But yet I could cut & shave & make mini sandwiches. The potato salad was a great refresher. Not too tart, with carrots, celery, & I could taste onion. The pickle was not too acidic. Great crunch. A nice interlude between bites of the sandwich & potato salad. I took my time. It went into overtime. Washing it down with coke. My taste buds won. Great service. A nice diner like vibe. Incredible menu. We don't have this level of Jewish Deli in the Bay Area. I'd go every week. $36.18 is with it!
