If I could leave zero stars I would. This dr was "highly recommended" by people I work with. She is literally the worst dr I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I am not exaggerating. So many people are reviewing and saying she listens and cares so much, but that is the complete opposite of the experience I had with her recently. I came to her for insomnia that I had been experiencing, 7 days a week, barely sleeping an hr or 2 a day. Her first reaction was, "that's it?!" Um, I'm wondering if a patient would be taken more seriously if they were bleeding from every orifice? How about you try sleeping an hour or so a day, zero naps, 7 days a week and let's see how well you function, drive and do your job. Instead of giving me the 4 minutes it would've taken to describe the kind of insomnia I was experiencing, she made assumptions about the reasons for it, spoke over me, interrupted me, asked questions then cut me off in mid sentence when I tried to respond. She did this the entire visit, both times, the second time being worse. She insisted during the first visit that I was "just stressed" though there were no stressors in my life. She then insisted it was the hepa air purifier, which is supposed to make sleep and air quality better. Then she insisted that it was sleep apnea even though she refused to send me to a sleep specialist or a sleep clinic, stating, "you don't need that." Her exact words were, "I don't know why you can't sleep, but no specialist is going to be interested in seeing you." When I told her the CBD I had been taking wasn't working as well, she again interrupted me and said, "if the medicine works sometimes and not other times it's you , not the medicine. It's you." Actually no, that's not true, there could be other underlining issues, CBD might not be right for insomnia. It could be a lot of things that you don't know, because you're too busy talking over your patients and acting like a know it all. She created so much anxiety for me on top of not being able to sleep. What kind of dr says those things to a patient?! There was no next steps, no options, no conversation, no discussion about my concerns. Absolutely. Nothing. If I did have sleep apnea which I don't, what are the next steps? Do you really feel comfortable as a dr diagnosing a patient for that when you don't even know their sleep condition, because you refuse to send them to a sleep clinic and tell them no specialist will want to see them? If it takes someone up to 5 hours to fall asleep is that sleep apnea? Would I not know if I had trouble breathing when I'm trying to fall asleep? But remember, she never knew that, because she interrupted me continuously to the point where I couldn't even explain. When she saw how frustrated I was, her response was, "I already know what you're going to say." Um, no you don't. I had wanted her to include a hormone test in the blood test I requested, but because she talked so much and enjoys the sound of her voice I never got to request it. You'd think as a female dr treating a female patient she'd think of checking that, but she didn't. Because I refuse to take sleep meds as I don't think they're good long term and don't treat the underlying cause, I had done research on amino acids, magnesium, etc., to help me sleep. I didn't get to discuss any of that either, because Dr. Oo talks too much and was too busy talking over me. After 2 dr visits, a phone call to her (because I never got to discuss anything with her in person. When I mentioned that to her, she laughed?! It didn't matter, because over the phone she's the same way and ended up hanging up on me even though the conversation wasn't over. I guess it was on her end), I was done. A dr who doesn't even take the time to listen to their patient, makes assumptions from the very beginning, doesn't like sending you to a specialist, though admits they have no clue how to help you and has no follow up is a TERRIBLE dr. I'm not sure what the glowing reviews are for. Honestly, I think it's patients where she can tell what their ailments are easily and she can play the role of "good doctor" and act thorough as it strokes her own ego. I never got those 4 minutes to explain what was happening. She never followed up with me once on insomnia. Instead I changed doctors. read more

Talked to receptionist for an appointment and was told that I had to give my insurance information prior to the conversation. Rude receptionist name ALICIA. I called in this morning to just find out what's going on my prescription not going through pharmacy and tried to fix this issue. 3x's mid-conversation ALICIA places me on hold without telling me she would do that. She spoke over me, gave me attitude FOR NO REASON and was not helpful. Called back again this time I'm talking to her the way she talks to me and she did not like my tone and she threatened me that her attitude will be justified by Dr Oo no matter what I complain to her about ALICIA's rudeness, has no professional phone etiquette, unfriendliness and very unprofessional attitude! She answered my first and 3rd phone call on SPEAKER PHONE - NO PRIVACY WHATSOEVER. How can I trust this receptionist to see my doctor if she can't even do damn job professionally! Which will only result me to find a new primary care physician over because this unprofessional receptionist. read more

Dr. Oo is very thoughtful and professional. I was going through a tough situation with my fertility and she communicated and followed up to talk me through the next steps. There aren't many doctors that will take the time out of their day to set aside a phone conversation with you. I am grateful that i chose her as my primary care doctor. read more

Dr. Khin Khin Oo is my grandmothers doctor but since my grandmother does not speak English I accompany her to every appointment to translate. This doctor is amazing. She takes her time when with her patients (one appointment I was here for over an hour going over different topics with her regarding my grandmothers health). She covers everything in detail and clearly. Dr. Khin Khin Oo is extremely patient, open to any and all questions you may have, and very knowledgeable. She truly listens to everything you have to say, which is amazing because at the end of the day I have 101 questions regarding my grandmothers health as she is in her late 80s. Parking is limited, however I haven't struggled with the handicapped parking (my grandmother is handicapped). Office staff is extremely friendly. My wife uses this doctor and likes her very much. She likes her friendly and communicative demeanor. And I really really like the support staff. Marlene, Alicia, and Amber are all extremely knowledgeable, friendly and most important efficient. No problem is to little or big, they handle them all for us. Seriously they communicate amongst each other and don't put the patient in the middle. Which I'm sure everyone realizes is extremely rare these days. Mostly I just want to say thank you!!! read more

She spoke over me and was not helpful. I came here for one reason and literally sat there for an hour for her to start talking about something else. I wanted to get certain tests done, but I felt so uncomfortable with this visit I didn't even want her to do them anymore. I've never had an experience like this in my life before. I only came here because she was nearby, but I will continue to go to my regular doctor. I understand that there are people who are posting ravishingly reviews, but I didn't experience that at all. I never post bad reviews about anyone, but I literally left the office and cried because it was such a waste of time. I hope that whomever reads this your experience is better and she actually listens to you. Also, made me pay a copay for nothing. I have NEVER paid copays for visits like these. I would have respected her more if she didn't make me pay the copay but she obviously couldn't tell I was uncomfortable and that she was not servicing me correctly. Dr Oo is the best doctor I've ever been to. She does a very thorough examination and goes over any questions, test results,etc and explains everything in detail. I cannot recommend her enough. She is polite and genuinely cares about her patients. Her office does get busy and it may be difficult at times to get a same day or even next day appointment but when you're that great of a doctor, you're obviously gonna be busy. One of the things I appreciate the most about her is that you can talk to her about any concerns and she takes the time to address them. She never makes you feel stupid, anything you bring up is a valid concern! read more

I never had this doctor as mine nor did I ever see him or her.. I don't even know if dr oo is a female or male. But I had to write this review.. As a health care worker, I truly know someone's dedication by looking at their work. I'm a nurse who work at icu and also I have another job in a senior day care center.. we have to have the patients at the day care to get their medical clearance signed by their medical doctors. Let me tell you, all the reports I get back are jokes sometimes unfortunately. This made me think about how American health care is failing miserably until I saw dr oo's signed medical clearance forms today. It was soooooo thorough, so neat, dr oo didn't miss any questions(which is our problem all the time-I mean I literally highlighted everything for you and you still miss the questions? ) . I mean I get it, providers are given 15-20 mins to see a patient per consultation but I feel like this doctor didn't rush through it. Maybe the report was written by the nurse ? But whatever the case is, I've never seen any neatly done report like this in my 6 years of practice as a nurse and 3 years of me working at the day care center. My parents need new provider, I'm thinking of sending my parents there and maybe I can actually see dr oo them. But anyways.... I recently had a health scare and I'm so grateful that I had Dr Oo to help me through it. Her staff could not be more lovely. They knew I was scared and made every effort to sooth my nerves, but more importantly, they fit me in on a Friday (and I think they all had lunch late) to accommodate me. I brought a kid with me and the medical assistant (who is AMAZING with kids and adults alike) very professionally and kindly took her out to reception while I had a serious discussion with the doctor. Don't get me wrong. Dr Oo is a straight talker and not a coddler. I trust her and am glad another doctor in town recommended her to me. I think this is a great practice. read more

We started seeing Dr Oo last year for our yearly check-up. Dr Oo is professional, patient and extremely thorough. She takes time to listen to our health history, and explain clearly of all our concerns. Dr Oo brings up things we need to pay more attention to, and suggests changes to eating habits or exercise routine. Dr Oo cares about our overall well-being, not just sees you as a 'patient'. I started seeing Dr. Oo years ago, even before she opened this practice, and she's always been wonderful. She knows her stuff. Her exams are thorough and she takes time to explain things (including, if necessary, how insurance works) and she always answers questions and has always spent as much time with me as necessary. And because her practice is small and intimate, I get better treatment from the staff than I have at offices with several doctors. There are times I've had to wait for her to see me, but that happens at EVERY medical office. I have never had a doctor that was so personable and caring as DR. OO. I wish that I could give her more than five stars. Recently I had to see her without an appointment and she was able to fit me in between patients. I was very sick and Dr. OO treated me thoroughly with the intention of not having to admit me to the hospital. That really helped to alleviate my stress during these COVID-19 times. my first office visit was to get a physical check! it was just last thursday! dr Oo is very patient and explained things in details. I was surprised that she also can do pap smear test for woman! So it save me time! She is also very thorough with explaining how to do self breast exam. which is so important for woman nowadays! she told me to wait about one week for lab and pap smear results! She actually emailed me the lab result on tuesday! i was so glad to get it so soon cuz i always worry about my health! lol i recommend to see her as your family dr! i drive a little further but i got better service! insurance are so expensive we need to find the best dr possible to make it worth it!!!! read more

First time trying to make an appointment here. The phone line was busy or disconnected. I tried again 5 minutes later... still down. Because of the good reviews I tried again an hour later and got through. I was trying to make an appointment for a first time physical to obtain a birth control prescription. The front desk woman informed me that I had to make an appointment for a first time visit as well as a second appointment for a physical, both being a half hour long each. I asked what the reason for this was and she explained that she could not schedule a full hour visit. I guess that is understandable but would my first "consultation" really be a half hour long? I can easily fill out paperwork at home. I asked if it was going to both be covered by ins. since physicals are now 100% covered by most ins. providers and she explained that the first patient visit would require a copay. TRICKY TRICKY! Seemed like an obvious scam to get me to pay for a visit that would normally be free else where. Will NOT be coming here. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Oo for years now. She took over for the Dr. I had before. I was very sad to lose my doctor but I found it was a blessing in disguise.
