He is personable, he listens to your concerns, answers your questions & doesn't try to rush through your appointment. I can't say the same about the other Dr in the practice, but Dr. Khanh is the only reason I returned here. I also appreciate Kelsey at the front desk, she is very friendly. Other pros: - it's SUPER clean - it looks modern and cool - they're technologically advanced - free parking right in the back - short wait times

I would strongly recommend against using this practice. I was very unhappy with their medical…read moreadvice, which was incredibly generic and did not address my issues at all, and their billing practices are shady at best. The tricked me into have a test done that was not strictly necessary by making it sound like it was included, which it was not and cost additional money. They then did not even give me the results for the test, I received no communication about it from them so I was essentially tricked into paying for a service I did not even receive. Both myself and my insurance also had trouble contacting them about billing information. I think there are better providers and office out there if you need a dermatologist.

We all agree he is the standard by which all of us believe physicians should be measured. He brings a dignity to the practice of medicine that is extremely rare. I trust and endorse him completely.

I discovered Dr Solotoff in late 2015, searching multiple sites for a local dermatologist, within a…read morereasonable distance of my home, and in my healthcare plan as I am new to Philadelphia in 2015. I returned again for my second visit in January 2017. The purpose of my visit is a standard full body exam of the skin, and not for a specific reason or issue. On both visits, I was ushered in within minutes of my scheduled appointment, and only waited a few minutes in the exam room. The exams were thorough, and Dr. Solotoff explains as he goes through the exam, alerting you to things you should know so you can do your own self exams between visits. He has excellent bedside manner, is polite, friendly and keeps you at ease. His staff is equally friendly and professional. This is truly an A+ experience in every aspect! First Time Tips: The office is inside a primarily residential building, so ask in advance about parking and access, as the lot / entrance can be confusing. They do not take credit or debit cards as payment. So if you have a healthcare plan with a some type of debit card, you'll need to request payment to the provider (or make it yourself and request reimbursement).

TL:DR: 5 stars for the willingness to finish the job even…read moreafter the salon closing time. 1 star for nail prep. 2 stars for hygiene. Go elsewhere if you've ever had a good manicure. Full review: The salon decor is . You come in, they tell you the price, and you sit down. The chairs don't get wiped between clients. The salon madam ( a stern, short-haired older Asian lady with bad plastic surgery) comes by immediately and starts upselling you the service. She quotes two prices, one in the beginning of the conversation, and the other one at the end, and then, when it comes to pay, you pay the third price which is even higher. The technique is terrible. The nail prep is worse than what I do for myself at home with my Amazon-bought tools. The manicurist uses the same ones, only with far less care or skill. The nail file is rough and had been used on many clients. I am now terrified that I was infected with a nail fungus from whatever clients they used this file on before me. In normal salons, the file is one-use. But these people don't care. When the manicurist was filing down my nails, on some nails she held the file at such an angle that she was digging into my skin and ignored my groans. Her approach to removal of regular nail polish was to grind it down. The same motorized tool was used on the cuticles. This is not how normal salons prep cuticles. Then it was time for cuticle clippers. I had a couple of bleeding spots from them. Then the manicurist used the cuticle clippers to cut corners of my nails. No wonder these clippers are so dull and rip the skin. The nail polish application was professional, but the lady doesn't know how to operate a magnet on the cat eye polish. Some nails look ok, others look like I have big dark blobs in the middle. Not a good look. Ah, and get this: in the middle of this service, the lady tried to upsell me on another nail service. But since she didn't speak English or know how to use Google translate, it was an awkward "conversation". I used Google translate to tell her I have a flare up of a skin allergy in the area she was trying to sell me the service for. I showed he the cracked and borderline bleeding skin and declined the upsell. The lady dipped a cotton ball into acetone and proceeded to rub the nail right next to the cracked skin. I winced and pulled away, and I think she only then understood that I wasn't needing that other service. Ah! The data collection at the check in point was completely unnecessary! The manicurist doesn't speak English and doesn't know how to use Google translate. But she uses the phrases like "You are beautiful" and "you have nice nails", and "it's a nice color". So I know this is part of the service, not an actual authentic sentiment. I get it. This is a service industry. The massage is terrible. The scrub is awful, and it doesn't get washed off before they apply that greasy lotion later on. I will not be a repeat customer.
