Best beef salad I've ever had in my whole entire life. Spicy shrimp was great, cabbage slaw was fresh and paired well with the shrimp. Perfect amount of spice, food fresh and made to order, kind owners. This place does not pander to the Western taste buds and is authentic!!!! This place has all of your Thai favorite, including drinks, mango sticky rice, pad thai, drunken noodles and items for more curious palettes as well. Nestled in the heart of Haleiwa, this food truck will be a staple and I will work hard to try everything on the menu. Three plates came out to around 40 dollars. Everyone enjoyed their food and asked to visit again soon.
Khan & Phim Thai garlic and spicy garlic shrimp were better than the shrimp food truck across the street. I felt I got my money's worth when eating here. The wait time wasn't long. The environment and staff were cool. Plus, I had enough time to enjoy my meal. The mango coconut sticky rice is delicious! It's seasonal, but I'm sure they'll have it during your visit.
Was going shrimp truck-hoppin' and happened upon this spot with spicy shrimp, so we had to stop in. The flavor was THERE. It was nice, garlicky spice that I really enjoyed. The shrimp was slightly overcooked for me, but the spice level was perfect. I'm not sure if I'd come back here just for their shrimp, but I might stop by again to see what other dishes they have.
This is a food truck, there are a few tables to sit. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures! But I ordered the spicy garlic shrimp and substituted the rice for noodles. The noodles could have had a bit more sauce, but when I finished my shrimp I mixed the noodles in that sauce. The shrimp was amazing, definitely coming back before I go back home. Not shareable, portion size is good for one person. We also ordered sober noodles, which was also amazing. The portion was pretty big, we shared with two people. Here to edit.... While I was looking for some place in Haleiwa to eat, I came across Khan & Phim and it had good ratings and the food looked so good. My cousin & aunty were visiting from the mainland and we were adventuring out on that side so we decided to give them a try. There's not much parking around there, but there was a little parking lot a little ways down and luckily we found a stall. My mom & I shared a garlic shrimp plate and the sober noodles. The garlic shrimp was tasty, not exactly like Giovanni's, but they gave a lot of shrimp. The sober noodles were so good. Thick noodles with beef & veggies. And I got to try my cousins papaya salad. Super spicy, but super tasty! If it weren't for the parking, I would go there more often. They're super flavorful and they can add more spice depending on how you like it. They have a few tables that you can sit there and eat if you choose to.
I'm not going to lie, this food truck at first glance looks sketchy af, but it's one of my favorite foods we've had while visiting Oahu. North Shore at night is a little difficult to navigate and we zoomed right by them before we realized we passed. They do have lighting and seating available, a little small and dirty but it works. The food, the garlic shrimp was seasoned and the sauce on the rice was mouth watering. The STEAK was to die for! The calamari was very okay. Service was fast and pleasant, if we're ever in the north shore area again I'd come back for more food. Stop by if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed!
This was our first night in Haleiwa at our first time ever staying in an AirB&B. No food yet at our new place, so needed to find somewhere to eat. We thought Thai would be a good ethnic start. We actually were looking for a different place, but found this instead. A lucky find. We both ordered drunken noodles with shrimp. As it is a food truck, we ordered at a window and sat at a picnic table under a string of lights. The food came out fairly quickly and was hot. So right off the grill/griddle. It was quite good and satisfied our craving for Thai food.
I'm always going to give this place a 5 star. The hospitality is always warming. I enjoy this shrimp truck because their shrimp is different then most. I appreciate the shrimp peel not being stuck to the shrimp. It's easy to pull off. I've visited plenty of shrimp trucks on this island and for some reason the shrimp peel is stuck on the shrimp so you have to eat the whole thing...not good. I highly recommend trying the fried pork belly. It's comes with a dip and it's delicious. We always order this plate. We will be visiting soon. Thanks Uncle for always being so kind!

I'm visiting from California where there's tons more excellent Thai spots so with this in mind, to me this spot is just OK, not brilliant as you might find from the Yelp aggregate of 4.5 stars. I had to order the pad thai which is one of my favorite noodle dishes and sadly, not only was the portion small but the flavors were somewhat lacking. It kind of reminded me of just noodles with ketchup and hoisin sauce. I may stop by again and try other dishes but this was an OK spot for the hungry crowd in my opinion. They didn't even take a name at the time of ordering so they just lookout for you in the seating area which is benches in front of this food truck. Food came out in 10-15 mins as there was not much of a wait. They do take credit cards but they clearly encourage you to pay with cash (even during pandemic) as they have a large sign posted NO fees / NO taxes when you pay CASH. Parking is a little tricky since it's not like the area has parking lots but just down the street in the shopping centers you can park and walk it down the street.

It was a Sunday and there were plenty of cars passing by. The good news is that they had a few picnic tables in front to sit. The food was tasty. The drunken noodles as well as the spicy shrimp had good flavor. The shrimps were large. For the drunken noodles, there were more vegetables than noodles. Overall, would definitely return next time in Hawaii.

Our family's go-to spot whenever we're in Hale'iwa and cruising around the North Shore! This food truck is at the perfect spot because it's under a big mango tree with lots of shade, so it's cooler to relax and eat at during the day. They have a variety of menu items and the fish is a big dish that we all share. It's very flavorful, succulent, and has the perfect balance of spices. Definitely recommend when you're in the area! read more
Oh my goodness gracious deliciousness! This place hit the spot for garlic shrimp. The place we went to before unfortunately closed, but this was right across the street. So sad I did not order more food here, but I was stuffed. The sauce was perfect and the dish pipping hot and amazing. The garlic on top of the rice was perfect, the shrimp was coated in sauce and cooked to perfection. The slaw was vinegary and refreshing. Wished it had some mac salad but I do know this is a Thai place. I wanted to get the pad Thai so badly but maybe some other time. It was ordered, cooked and ready in a reasonable time and so fresh and cooked to order. We do have a Thai market near me but I wish we had a food truck like this! I will be dreaming of this dish for a very long time. read more

I'm always going to give this place a 5 star. The hospitality is always warming. I enjoy this shrimp truck because their shrimp is different then most. Literally stumbled into this place and soooo glad we did! Took a drive out to Haleiwa for some fresh air amidst the COVID lockdown and needed a quick place to run in and grab food. As we were walking I tripped on a big rock and picked myself up and got a smell . I knew I wanted pad Thai but couldn't decide if I wanted plain or chicken or beef or shrimp or seafood... opted for the seafood. It was so tasty I couldn't stop eating it. I'm not a fan of spicy so it was perfect. I would suggest if you like hot then ask for it to be spicy. So much calamari, shrimp and chunks of fish. I'd make the drive from wahiawa to eat here again. My daughter ordered the garlic chicken. Wasn't anything fancy but I thought it was good. Definately the healthier of the 2 plates. They make everything to order so expect to wait at least 15 minutes for your food. Worth it!!!! read more
I came here for garlic shrimp, thinking it was the one that I bookmarked. While we were eating, I turned around and saw the actual blue truck I was looking for. It made a lot of sense since the plate I ordered didn't look like what I was expecting. But how could you go wrong right? Meh I was just super disappointed. I ordered the spicy shrimp, which wasn't spicy or very flavorful at all. I mostly can't believe it was almost $14 for 6 pieces of shrimp! I'm okay paying that price if it's actually a tasty dish. I've had worse food of course but I think I was just disappointed that I didn't pick any of the other shrimp places on this side of the island, or just go back to the one we enjoyed last time. The only plus side here was that they had tables in the shade and they accepted credit card. read more

I love Thai food and always looking for an authentic Thai taste....and ai think I found one. I rarely eat on a food truck. Im very picky when it comes to what I eat. This food truck didn't disappoint me when it comes to the food I ordered. The Fried Pork Belly was delicious and tender. Love it Hte breading was perfect and the way the pork was cooked was great. Kudos to the Chef!! The Panang Curry have the authentic that taste. Had ordered Panang on different places but this one is the best. The Garlic Shrimp is a different story, it taste a bit bland and lack of salt and garlic. It also needs a little more time to cook. Lastly, the sweet rice mango is another perfect one. Love it !! Overall...this place is recommendable and a place to stop when in this town. read more

Hubby and I wanted to eat shrimp for dinner tonight. All of the trucks were shut down for the evening but luckily, we remembered that Thai Bo serves garlic shrimp. This place never disappoints... whether you want authentic Thai food or garlic shrimp. Parking in the back and cute benches with lights to dine in. The owner/cashier is always friendly and gives awesome service. You can be a local or a tourist... they make sure they serve the best food and give the best service. Especially after a long week, this is a great date night kind of a place on the weekend. Love this place! read more
When someplace has 4.5 star reviews out of 100 people you know it's something to try. The pad Thai is a must try. The pictures they post on the truck doesn't do this justice. The pad Thai is creamy , and moist. It's creamy sauce coats the noodles for each bite. Overall the sauce isn't overly sweet but well balanced. The plate doesn't seem very big at first but was actually able to share it and still feel content. There is definitely a lot more dishes from this truck I must try on my next visit. read more

I picked up Thai food from here yesterday. They are located across where the seashells stand is in Haleiwa and right next to a Japanese food truck. They have garlic shrimp as well as other Thai dishes all made to order. I ordered their Larb and papaya salad to go. Both dishes were yummy! Prices are reasonable too! If you're ever in the Haleiwa area, must stop by here! read more

Welcoming setting within a larger area for food trucks. The turnaround was quick, the service was friendly, and the food was tasty and fresh. Solid pad thai and spicy shrimp, the mango sticky rice was a bit disappointing (not terrible, but the sticky rice looked like a congee). The ONLY shrimp truck I dream about again and again when I leave the island of Oahu. Hale'iwa is filled with a bunch of tourist restaurants with tacos, pizza, and burgers. Yet, nestled between those is this extraordinary blue food truck with the tastiest garlic shrimp I've ever had. The spicy isn't for the faint of heart but I would recommend that one over the regular garlic. You will leave wanting nothing but this for the rest of your trip. Like most island shrimp the shells are on so the meat absorbs the flavor, so get ready to peel and eat. If you love mango sticky rice they have it there also, or walk to the truck beside them for some poke to share with the table. read more

Thai Contestant #5 This truck is located on the left and before the Longs Drugs if you are driving north. I sampled the chicken fried rice here to keep a constant system of measurement bewtween various Thai food truck locations. Your rice needs to be bangin as itll help me determine if a return visit is warranted for other menu items. Verdict: Paid $10.00, as you can see in my pic the portion and presentation is skimpy. Tasted only like oily and peppery rice and not even Thai(is this even Thai?) Many 5 stars here but many tourists were there too, so I think part of it is the superior location snug conveniently in the middle of many North Shore Attractions. Many of these reviews may had not even have had Thai before so their first time will most likely be amazing if they have nothing else to compare to. Things that save it from 1 star is the cool and shady seating, available parking, and option to add fish with the rice. Status: Eliminated read more
