Well, I'm giving my age away but the taste is not the same as it used to be. Don't get me wrong I would rather come to KFC than Popeyes but it is just not like it was in the past. First, you only get one side instead of two with a chicken meal and the pieces of chicken are so, so very small. Do restaurants have their own farms or purchase strictly from poultry growers that have mini chickens. Come on now the pieces are not as large as they used to be. Plus my receipt said there should have been a cookie with my order and none was found. I was craving KFC after driving by it for so long being built, we drove 30 minutes there and back to get some! We stuck with getting the basics to test out how this location is and it was great! Everything was still so hot and fresh by the time we got home. The chicken was a bit soggy but that's expected with the long drive. I didn't realize how expensive KFC was...it's not THAT good. I will definitely be back though to try other menu items. Customer service was very bleh, nothing special. Bad experience here today (Friday, lunchtime). I saw there was a 4-car line at the drive-up, so I went inside and ordered a simple lunch at the kiosk. I stood around with many people waiting for their food, sharing stories of everyone's long wait. 20 minutes, 40-minute wait, one hour wait (she waited 30 minutes, complained and found that they had lost her order, so now she was almost 30 minutes in on the re-order of a simple lunch for herself and 12-year-old. After I waited 15 minutes I started warning everyone who came in about the terrible service. At least two thanked us for the heads-up and left. I watched as the cars in the drive-up got their orders, seemingly prioritized over walk-up. After 20 minutes I had to leave (hungry) as I had a meeting to attend. The poor employees looked lost- they had no idea what to do or how to serve their increasingly hangry customers. I credit the manager for this debacle. read more

What a dreadful experience. I got the two piece chicken meal. Before ordering, I asked the clerk if the chicken had been freshly cooked. She confirmed that, "it just came up." Ok, so I ordered the two piece meal. At the window, I asked the clerk for a fork or spoon. She said there was one in the bag. I also asked for butter and jelly for the biscuit. I guess it was my lucky day because she said they were already in the bag. Well, when I got to my location to eat, no jelly and no spoon or fork. How am I supposed to eat the mashed potato's? I couldn't and didn't. But the worst was the tiny, greasy, cold pieces of chicken. They say it was chicken, but the portions look more like they came from a sparrow. K F C, we do chickkkkkkennnnnnnnnn Right! Well, that's how I remember the commercial going. I haven't been to KFC often because well, we haven't had one in the area for 5 years, so it was nice to know KFC returned. I waited a cool 2 weeks after it opened so that the rush died off and I could get a meal without waiting 2 hours. Ok I chose to eat inside and relax and I found the staff to be kind and the service lightning quick. Inside is beautiful, a layout of tiled flooring with spacious seating and delightful colors. I had heard that the chicken was bad, that it was extremely oily, and that the service was slow. I found none of that to be true in my visit. I ordered the KFC chicken sandwich combo, a biscuit, and a standalone chicken thigh. The biscuit always hits the spot, and the chicken thigh was decent. It was slightly oily, but nothing excessive or out of the ordinary. The chicken sandwich was very good and priced well. The one negative that I learned was that this KFC does not offer hot wings. :( :( :( I love hot wings so this was depressing. Outside of that, its KFC and its good to have them back. What a taste of nostalgia. I haven't had KFC in years and my husband snagged some for lunch the other day. The chicken was actually really good. Crispy and tasty. The mashed potato's were ok. They taste like the instant ones you make at home. They're 10x better with plenty of gravy. Biscuits were good and tasted pretty fresh. He also grabbed some chicken tenders. They were ok. They tasted totally fine but weren't anything special. The honey mustard dipping sauce however was hella good. Our meal also came with soda which comes in a bag?? Literally never seen that before. Like a bagged wine with a screw cap. Bizarre but not bad. Overall a good experience. Lots of food, reasonably priced and tasty. I will definitely go back. read more

Recently ate at the local KFC in Yuba City. I have been eating occasionally at KFC since the 1960's. We used to have a "full service" one here but this one is certainly not one. This unit has got to be one of the poorest that I have ever visited. Service and ambience were okay but the size of the individual pieces of chicken seems to have shrunk--smallest wing I have ever seen at a KFC--don't know if this is just a local thing or common currently throughout the KFC system--same goes for the chicken breast that was included. Last KFC I ate at was about a year ago and it was a full service one out of town. Probably won't be back most likely to this one. read more

Why are you people closing and MOPPING the lobby over an hour before you actually close? Food was cold and even besides that it was mid. The fact that almost all the tables were closed so you could mop (over an hour before you closed), was not cool. Do better.
