I've been living in California for many years and have traveled to The Philippines many times. Needless to say, I have many friends and family from The Philippines. I rarely try new places on an empty stomach but I took a gamble and came here to Karinderya I found on Google maps. I found it hilarious that they have a dish on the menu named KFC which stands for Korean Fried Chicken. The smell from the chicken was mouthwatering and I decided to try their chicken adobo and topsilog instead of fried chicken (I'll eat that next time). The topisilog is my litmus test to good Filipino food because it's my favorite Filipino dish. The food came and OH MY GOD! ! ! ! It far exceeded any Filipino restaurant I've ate at here in the US & Canada! The seasoning is perfection! The meat effortlessly comes off the bone and taste amazing.
