I went to get a 16 piece chicken strips meal around 6pm in the evening on a weekday. The drive thru was busy and there were a few people inside the dining room. The staff seemed to be a little lost and overwhelmed. I think i waited about 25 minutes for my food, which isnt too horrible but during our wait other customers came in and were complaining about waiting for their food in the drive thru for over 30 minutes. Probably could put a little more pep in the employees steps and the lady that seemed to be the manager wasn't apologizing for the wait that some customers had at all. She just didn't seem to care. My wife and I go to the KFC in Waxahachie about 3-4 times a month. Every time we go there or have gone there the past 3 months there is a young man named Julius that seems to be the manager. We have never been there that this young man wasn't doing an excellent job. Today it seemed that they were several members short but this man was working as fast and as controlled as I've ever seen someone work. The young lady helping him was also doing a great job but I didn't get her name, she was new to my wife and I. When someone does a great job and is always cordial and respectful I think they should be commended and that is why I am writing this review. Bought a bucket of chicken and it was bad enough I had to return it. The breading felt damp and soggy. There were big areas of chicken that had no breading at all. Customer sercice was not great. When I took it back in I got argued with about how the chicken was fresh fried and still good. It may have been fresh, I dont know. But it was not good. And for the person who was "helping" me was standing there and giving me what felt like a glare while taking pictures of the bucket and talking (complaining) over the phone to (I assume) her boss. I love KFC, except the one in Waxahachie. I am doing this review after my last 4 trips. It's always dirty, the staff is rude every single time. They never have chicken ready and constantly will say it will be 30-40 minutes to drop the chicken. So basically are just hoping we leave. Everyone who was working the closing shift tonight December 13th , 2023 . COUNT YO MOTHAFUCKING DAYS !! I placed an order that would be ready for pick-up around 9:20 , I arrived at 9:30 and all the doors and drive thru were closed . There were multiple workers inside that seen me knocking on the doors and drive in the drive thru multiple times . They just stood there smirking and trying not to make eye contact , then they eventually moved to the back where I could not see them from outside the store !! I sat at the drive thru window knocking and calling the store until 9:45 !!! They don't close until 10:00 pm !! I went to the KFC on Hwy 77 in Waxahachie, TX. Drive-Thru. The young lady taking orders spoke so soft that I was unable to hear her. Thought maybe it something wrong with the speaker. I kept asking her to speak louder because I could not hear her...when I heard a male voice in the background loudly yelling at me "why are you talking so loud". When I got to the window I asked the lady"did I hear someone yelling at me?" she checked to the back and told me "yes" but it was a joke. I then asked her was the joke for me or her...she said "I don't know". With I told her to cancel my order...it's too much going on to trust an ill mannered employee to prepare my food. Food is great, but check your order. I've been there 3 times and they have got the order wrong 2 out of 3 times. So check your order. They will short you, and be sure to get your receipt because your going to have to go back to get the rest of your order. Also they don't answer their phone.
