recntly placed an order online through their menu for 6 whole wings with 2 rolls. During the…read moreordering process, I was prompted to choose a sauce, and I selected honey lemon pepper. After submitting and paying for my order, I received a phone call from Crown Chicken asking if I had placed an online order. I confirmed and mentioned that I had ordered honey lemon peppe. However, when I got home and opened my order, I discovered that I had received 6 wing dings instead of whole wings, and the 2 rolls were also missing. I called the store to clarify the issue and was told that honey lemon pepper is not offered on whole wings. I explained that your online menu did allow me to select that sauce for whole wings, and that's exactly what I ordered and paid for. The person I spoke to said they weren't sure why that option was on the menu. When I asked about the missing rolls, I was told that "rolls don't come with lemon pepper wings," even though my order clearly stated 6 whole wings with 2 rolls. I'm disappointed of the incorrect order, especially after paying for something that wasn't fulfilled as described. UPDATE the online menu to reflect what is actually available, and ensure that customers receive what they pay for. UNACCEPTABLE AND BAD FOR YOUR BUSINESS. THE GUY ON THE PHONE DID NOT EVEN CARE WHAT I WAS SAYING OR WANTED TO MAKE IT RIGHT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AS YOU DO NOT GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR AND THEY DONT FIX THEIR MISTAKE. I received a strong reminder of why I have that rule. :) Three stars is for the friendliness and "grace under fire" composure of our server. It seemed to be a stressful morning for the crew. Three stars is also for the absolutely delicious french toast and the smash burger that I am told was great. My sunrise breakfast combo was meh. There was only one onion piece and one sliver of green pepper in the unseasoned potatoes. I didn't care for the taste or texture of what appeared to be handmade turkey sausage. Coffee was just ok. I was surprised by that because it appears to be fresh ground per cup. It made me wonder if the staff had been properly trained to brew coffee. There seemed to be confusion amongst the staff and I saw no evidence of management for their support. I overheard at least four tables left without being served while we were there. Our food came out in a decent amount of time. There is potential here and I will probably stop back to try the biscuit breakfast sandwich and a lunch item. But, they need some time. Management should get things tightened up fast or they won't make it. A note for plant based eaters - Vegetarian items are very limited. Vegan options are non existent. With eating habits trending so strongly in that direction, they'd be wise to tweak the menu and include some options.
