The store is being remodeled. The open sign is never turned on. The food I received looked inedible. The biscuit was super small, like half normal size. The original chicken looked black. I ordered fries but they gave me mashed potato. They said they could not fix any part of it. I asked for my money back. The (shift) manager came to refund my card. He had his kids in the store and he was playing with them. They were rude when they asked for the food back because I forgot the tea. He said he was super busy and his family comes first. I was the only car there and the lobby is closed. Not sure why he was so busy. read more

They never get your order right. Service is pretty bad and they will never give you what you ordered.

I don't have anything good to say about KFC there's a woman working there that is very rude and refuses to help the right way. I guess the customer can't order not even a biscuit as an extra she told me no I'm to busy and I have a lot of customers which was a lie KFC only had one car behind me and she only had one customer inside. This KFC needs to be shut down. There are not enough employees here to safely run it. Orders are never right, lobby is never open. The two employees that do work are extremely rude and at times there is only one employee running the place, meaning the same one making food, is handling the money, and cleaning. It's unsafe. read more

We went to kfc to get a 4 piece chicken tender they were all out we asked for other chicken and they had none worst experience ever

Sad to say this restaurant will soon go out of business. I don't understand why they don't open for dine in and they usually give you your food cold I got the chicken bowl to ear right away and it was cold with cut chicken in it what happened to the nuggets the use to put in them. Visiting from out of town and stopped by the KFC here in Taos. Ordered two to go meals. Just two. Each meal was ordered with one side and they got the side wrong. But the cherry on top was the long dark hair inside my box of food. Yum !!!. So I emphatically say to you do not eat at this restaurant as they can't get your order right and they serve the food with hair. read more

I would rather eat a bag of skunk balls than to come back to this place the staff couldn't complete the simplest request I had to eat my famous bowl with my fingers cause there wasn't any utensils and my friend had to whips his hands with the paper bag because there wasn't any napkins. Ugh fast food chain review... Its like flipping a coin. When they served the grill chicken. Its was like one day they had it the next day they didn't. Service was good and sometimes it sucked. Why do I torture myself??? Once again the local KFC let be down. They are out of pot pies. The drive thru is closed. The employees don't wear hairnets or gloves. No utensils in a to go order... I've come here several times and it has always been good. Good service and good food. The service was good and the food was good too, but the crispy chicken has more batter than meat on their chicken. They've changed the menu not to long ago so my usual wasn't available anymore. Don't go, but if you do go, check your receipt carefully. I just spent 10 minutes tonight arguing with the "manager", who refused to charge me the correct price for the food I ordered. By "correct" price, I mean the price for the food that she herself admitted is listed on their menus BOTH in the restaurant and the drive-thru (the menu price is of course LOWER than what she was trying to charge me). I wouldn't be surprised if, due to the "menu change" there are multiple food items right now that are ringing up higher than they are listed on the menu. Buyer beware. When I first questioned the price, she insisted with an immediate attitude that the menu had changed recently and that she had to charge me the higher price because the computer rang it up that way and there was nothing she could do ("Do you want it or not?" was her response). I told her I wanted the food but to pay the price they list it for on their menus. At one point one of the more reasonable coworkers offered to pay the difference out of his own pocket, but I told him, this is not about the money (it was less than $1). It's about the principle of advertising a lower price, charging the customer more without telling them, and being actively hostile towards the customer when the problem is brought to their attention. I happened to notice the discrepancy, but there are probably lots of people who won't pay attention and are literally being CHEATED out of money. This practice is, of course, also against the law, but when I mentioned that, her response was "What are you going to do, call the police??" Her co-workers convinced her to call the owner (she had only told me I could come by "tomorrow" to see him). He agreed, it seemed, to give me the correct price, but by that point, my interaction with the "manager" was so terrible, I will not go back. I could understand if the manager had difficulty giving me additional change because of the rules about settling the cash register, but if that was the issue, she never said so. She could have even done something creative like offer to throw in another biscuit, say, and the whole ridiculous situation could have been avoided. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced bar none!! The first few bad experiences in just shrugged off, but this become consistent!! I called in tonight to get a simple price on a family meal because the website failed to include prices.. I called and the employee answered with " what do you want!" I said I'm just calling to see how much the tender meal costed? Then he replied "I'm way to busy for just prices" then immediately hung up! Worst customer service I have EVER received at a KFC! While driving through Taos on our way to a sporting event in Santa Fe, my husband and I stopped for a "quick" order to-go. I normally receive service with a smile at KFC, a "hello", or something...anything...don't expect that here. I placed my order for a sandwich, and a meal (with wedges and drink). I had to ask twice for a cup for the drink that came with the meal. Finally get my order and look in the bag, only to find there are no potato wedges. When I pointed this out to the manager, she never looked at me directly, but seemed annoyed that she was being bothered. I finally have my cup and my wedges and then I asked for a cup so that I could have water to-go. They hand me a small clear plastic cup that they have no lid for. I ask if I could please have a small cup with a lid, to which the managers snaps at me and says that the cup would cost 0.27 cents. I say fine...I just want a glass for water. The manager then walks up to the woman at the register and tells her something. I walk up to pay and the cashier says that she has to charge me the price of a soda....almost 2.00. Needless to say, I walked out. A little friendliness and customer service at this location would go a very long way! read more

I went to KFC the other night to get food for me and my boyfriend. I went through the drive thru and waited for about ten minutes with no acknowledgement that I was there. So I drove up to the window and still was ignore for about another ten minutes. I was furious about the customer service and started to drive away, and through the window, I could see the only cashier standing there with headphones on and giving all her attention to her phone. I couldn't not believe how rude I was treated and ignored. I usually would recommend KFC but I will not recommend going there just to get bad service. read more
