I lOVE KFC. The biscuits with honey and extra crispy chicken is so good. Tried the Nashville hot chicken and it was spicy and delicious!!! Chicken sandwich great too! I usually get the cole slaw and mashed potatoes but potato wedges are amazing. I wish they still sold that strawberry shortcake in a cup I used to order when I was a kid in the 80's and 90's. I'm pretty sure I'll be judged for even writing a review for KFC but here goes! I love KFC. I grew up eating KFC on days when my family decided to "eat out." It honestly tastes as good now as it did back then. The original fried chicken is so moist and the fried skin tastes so good and salty. I love the cole slaw since its really sweet and the mashed potatoes are probably made from powder but they also taste really good and complement the chicken very well. I see a lot of reviews about bad service at this location, but every time I've gone here I've been helped right away and given the correct order. Maybe they're just catching the employees at a bad time or when it's busy and writing a review about it... who knows. Come here for some chicken! I'm not one to complain about every little thing, so if I complain or leave a bad review on yelp its because it was bad, and KFC has really earned this bad review. To say I'm upset is an understatement, I don't care that KFC is fast food, it is NOT inexpensive to eat there. So now I not only have a bucket of chicken that is not fresh and is dried out, I also have chicken I never asked for (3 legs 3 thighs 4 breast and 2 Tiny and when I say tiny, I mean TINY wings) adding to that my biscuits were not fresh either. The most disgusting kfc or actually restaurant I've been to for a very very long time. Was desperate to grab something quick since I had to go to Starbucks next store. Words can't even explain how horrific the place was. We def spoke to a manager about it which didn't seem to matter. This is my first time using this this location and it will definitely be my last. I placed a family meal not cheap which comes with 6 side orders, upon receiving our order by post mates. Our order was missing the fries which our receipt clearly stated we called and got a rude lady who said we didn't order fries.I had to point out to her, I asked to speak to her supervisor and I spoke to Maribel who turners out to be the lady who did my order wrong in the first place. Another throwaway review, but I need to vent. I swear the guy who owns this place now is such a greedy f%$%. Since KFC is a franchise, I guess people can run them the way they want but here if you order a combo it doesn't even come with a drink. So a #2 combo costs about $8.50 in total. For KFC, are you f$%^ing kidding me. Every other KFC within the area has a combo with drink for about $6.50 or so and yes, it's my fault for coming here but it's a block from my house. Most low-rent KFC experience ever! I have been dropping in occasionally to see if things improve. Nope. The food has always been good, but the restaurant itself is awful. This location took forever to open originally. When they did, the walls were finished with second-hand sheetrock, the furniture was mismatched and recycled, a style at least 10 years old. They have since upgraded with newer recycled furniture, but none of it is bolted down. The paint on the walls is thin and poorly done. Best part: one restroom broke 2 years ago. They just closed it and have one restroom now. The place is really unbelievable. I've complained to KFC corporate but have never gotten a response. My experience tonight was unacceptable. First, I had to wait a long time in line because there was only one cashier who was taking and packing orders. A few minutes after I ordered he told me there was no regular breasts ready and asked if I wanted an extra crispy one. I said that's fine, then a couple minutes later he told me they have no breasts of any kind ready and offered to give me a few chicken strips instead. Since I already had been waiting for 15 minutes I accepted the trade. When I received the food there was no thigh in the box, just strips and a leg. I asked Cesar where my thigh was and he said he substituted strips for that also even though they had it in stock! I convinced him to give me a thigh and went home. What I found when I arrived home was that my corn on the cob didn't even make it into the bag! I have forwarded my thoughts to the KFC website and am hoping for a refund. read more

Never will I go back to this place and quite frankly I don't know why I keep giving it a try. First of all, the location isn't even that old and the interior is in horrible condition. On top of that, it is filthy. The owners must be cheap, because it shows all over the place. When you order, you better know exactly what you need and what is available, because if you have to ask a question, you won't understand the answer. The rest of the correspondence you can just guess at. If you are ordering TO GO, which you should because you don't want to sit down at the gross tables, be sure to ask for EVERYTHING! If you order biscuits, ask for honey because you won't get it automatically. Also, be sure you ask for all the napkins, forks, straws, etc. Once we ended up at the Levitt Pavillion and had to go scrounge for utensils and napkins because there were none in our bag. Be sure to check your order before you leave because they generally get it wrong. You even have to make sure you get the right pieces of chicken you requested. So the food...... Last night was nothing but a huge disappointment and the final straw. The chicken was old, dry, hard as a rock. The biscuits were cold. They didn't have the proper containers for the mashed potatoes and gravy, so they gave us 8 small individual containers instead. Talk about a waste of packaging! In the end they tasted burnt. But at least they were the only part of our meal which was actually a little over room temperature. All in all, this place is the worst. I will never go back. The grocery stores in the neighborhood have much better fried chicken, and Popeye's is the same distance in the other direction for me. Horrible service! Make sure you check your order before you leave the restaurant. I made a mistake of not checking my order, as I trusted the employees to be honest and attentive to give customers their complete order. Huge mistake! They forgot to give me the biscuits I had ordered. I didn't realize until I came back home. This has happened to me before from the same restaurant and they had asked me to come back and pick it up which I didn't (the drive wouldn't be worth it). Customers shouldn't be coming back to the restaurant once they get home to pick up the rest of the order! This. Is. The. Worst. KFC. Ever. I walked into this KFC after a random craving and I WAS SO GROSSED OUT. The store is so dirty. And when I mean dirty I mean like trash is overflowing, there is old chicken on the floor, you can see the dust on the counter. AND the soda counter was the worst.... Sticky with user caps all over. And after experiencing the service I understood why the store looked like this. The employees had no greeting and were not helpful at all!!! They did not offer us the different side options and instead picked what they wanted. And THEY DONT USE GLOVES. It just killed me... The way they were handling my food led me to throw away the whole plate. They are just so careless! The store is completely empty and they are just sitting around in the kitchen talking about personal problems when the dining area is DISGUSTING. This place needs to close down... Since the two Alhambra locations closed, this is the closest KFC near my house. The Las Tunas location is the closest to my work. I go in spurts craving KFC original, then I get burnt out and will be months before I eat KFC again. I am now in that craving mode again and the last couple of weeks went to the Las Tunas location a few times. I order the same thing #10, 3 piece (2 breast and wing), two side and a soda which cost, with tax, $10.45. Today I was in the T-mobile next to the South pasadena location and decided to grab lunch, the exact same thing cost $12.26. I asked why is it priced different than the San Gabriel location and they said all the prices are the same in the area. I told him I paid $10.45 and he said I must be wrong, with a head bob and smile. I told him he lost a customer, they will never get another penny from me. Horrible. The cashier named Laura had such a horrible attitude. I'm on "no-sleep" mode and I have a better attitude then her. She gave me the worst experience coming here and this is my second time. The first time I would rate 5/5 because everyone was nice including the cooks. This lady Laura doesn't want to work and has a pissed off face on her the whole time. This KFC is HURTIN! My first visit today, and we had to wait approx. 15min to order (there were about 7 people ahead of me). The dining area tables were dirty, they had no napkins out and the ones they had were some generic market type, and the bathroom was horribly filthy.
