For years I've seen low score reviews about this restaurant and always avoided eating here, however my wife decided to take me in for dinner and the reviews are not far from accuracy starting with time management, the environment is somewhat dirty, tables poorly maintained for dine-in customers with poodles on the floor which anyone would assume it's sewer water and an excessive waiting period to be greeted and served and lack of communication between server and costumer. Bathroom doors locked and unavailable for customer which it radiate unwelcoming environment for anyone visiting this site. Other than that I cannot complain about the food as delicious as if Col Sanders cooked it himself. But I'm afraid that with the top end competition KFC is facing at this location it will be closing with in 5 years because of lack of management. read more

Barely 1 star. Just home from Muhlenberg, pa location. I ordered a bowl, a pot pie, 2 individual Cole slaw 2 biscuits and 8 piece tenders. I questioned the bill as the 8 piece tenders were charged at $29.99. The girl called the manager over, he told me it was cheaper to do the 8 piece tender deal with 2 large coleslaw and 4 biscuits. I took it , came home 25 minutes to discover NO biscuits, none. I called the location and left it ring till it went busy, 3 times and still no answer. I will not go there again. We wanted to compare KFC vs Bojangles vs Popeyes today and we did just that. We ordered two $5 Fill Ups (Drumsticks and Thighs). One was Original Recipe and the other was Extra Crispy. One had mash potatoes & gravy and the other had potato wedges. Joy preferred the original recipe due to it being seasoned better, but she noted it was slightly salty. I preferred the extra crispy slightly over the original recipe because the original recipe didn't have any crispiness in the bites that I took, but it was seasoned better. Since I normally dip the fried chicken into BBQ sauce, the crispy factor is important to me. I liked the KFC chicken more than Bojangles, but Popeyes' spicy chicken was just slightly better than KFC. KFC's mash potatoes & gravy was way better than Popeyes, but just slightly better than Bojangles. KFC fries were better than Popeyes, but slightly worse than Bojangles. After all this comparing today, I may have to start by getting the Spicy chicken at Popeyes, followed by the Bojangles seasoned fries, and end with the KFC mash potatoes & gravy and chocolate chip cookie! read more

Ordered a family meal to be delivered. Was told the wait would be an hour. I was ok with that even though we are 2 miles away on the same street. However 2 hours later, not only was the food late, but it was incomplete. I ordered the tenders that came with mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits and cole slaw. They offered to send plates and plastic wear. No cole slaw, no plates, no forks. No explanation, nothing. The guy delivering acted like we were inconveniencing him. read more

Went there today to get the $20 fill up for me and my family, ordered an extra $5 famous bowl fill-up for my son and despite taking forever I didn't trust the bag. I figured in these roughs unsure times the least people could do was be good at their jobs. 30 mins later I arrive at home and guess what? No Fill-Up Bowl. Classic for this location to forget things and not care about being thorough. I tried calling them to see about picking it up when I was in the area again. Placed on hold for 10 mins no answer. I would advise going to Bojangles' across the street, good service, good workers. Better Chicken too. read more

This is the 2nd time in a row I've experienced terrible service at this location. I arrive at the store at 9:39 at this location. There was one gentleman who walked in just in front of me. We were greeted with an employee yelling that the store was closed. We both looked at our watches and stated the time. The employee that yelled at us yelled something to the other employee and stormed off never to be seen again. This left the remaining employee to wait on me and others by herself. It seemed the other employee was sitting just out of eyesight. The other gentleman in front of me was obviously disgusted and left. I thanked the remaining employee for waiting on us. The employee that waited on us made several attempts to get the other employee to help her to no evail. There is a Popeyes opening across the street , if management doesn't soon get this place under control they are going to be out of business. In regards to my previous incident I did call KFC corporate leaving my return phone number and they never cared enough to return my call. read more

The bathroom is always dirty the dinning area floor always has water on it. The counter person destiny always has an attitude... the outside always has trash outside. If anyone besides Juan cooks the chicken is either raw or burnt. This place was filthy. The floor was as greasy as the chicken and the seats and tables were sticky to the touch. We won't be going back.

We went to KFC on the 5th street highway to get a meal for our family. We waited over a half hour for the food. While we were in the store there was an awful stench coming from behind the counter. The employees were not wearing gloves while they were handling the food. the store was really dirty, they were yelling at each other and they seemed to be overwhelmed with the amount of orders that were coming in at that time. We thought we were going to have some fresh chicken after waiting so long. The chicken was dried out and must have been sitting under a heat lamp way to long. We spent $45.00 for all the food we purchased. The corn was really dry and awful, the mashed potatoes were cold and hard. I had several teenagers at my home and they did not eat the food !!!!! That's not usual for teenage boys !!!! I had never gotten food like this from KFC before, I have always enjoyed your chicken and fixins. You have lost a devoted customer. read more

you really need to check on your store the one on the 5th street highway is so ugly the floor is wet from the door the counter and there is food on the floor and the people who work there are not nice at all i should of call the health board yesterday and get the place shut down until it is fix shut the store down you are losing people because it really really bad in there i will never never go to that store again read more
