I've heard all the horror stories about this place, but I wanted to see for myself. Let me tell you, I'll never step foot in there again. Maybe I'll go through the drive-thru if I'm desperate for chicken, but even that's pushing it. I am not the type of person who typically gets riled up about these kinds of things because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. But I have worked in the hospitality industry for a great deal of time now and I truly do understand the ups and downs that come with working a job where you must handle people, but this is completely unacceptable on so many levels. The workers either aren't being trained properly or just don't care at all and honestly, it seems like the latter. When I went in to order, I noticed workers in the kitchen sitting around on their phones, and the young lady at the counter kept pushing for an upcharge. Once is enough, but asking me, "Are you sure about that?" is downright rude. The food itself wasn't bad I ordered from the KFC side but the service and atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The yelling and cursing coming from the kitchen were shocking, and one girl was practically screaming customer names as she handed out orders. This place has a reputation around town for needing better management, and I see why. To the staff working that day: you're being paid to work, not to play on your phones or throw tantrums in the kitchen. If you hate your job so much, go find another one instead of ruining someone else's day with your lazy, careless, and downright disrespectful behavior. Clearly, no one in charge cares, and it's obvious that several people on that shift shouldn't even have jobs.. 2 piece Breast Wing meal. Not really much of a meal. Both boxes looked the same. Very small portions. Price for the 2 meals was $18.00 Don't know when they stopped putting cole slaw in but they have. We went back thru drive thru as the doors are all locked & you cannot go inside. We haven't been to Prosser KFC for a couple years due to poor service & missing parts of order including the breast in a meal on several occasions. Guess we should not have given them another chance. I was looking for a place to sit down and eat and had no intentions of walking through a drive thru. This is the worst kfc Taco Bell I have ever been too . The lobby is always filthy the soda machine is growing mold. Can't believe the health department hasn't shut them down. The straw bin has filthy garbage in it The tables are always dirty floor never mopped and the employees are always sitting around with like there is nothing to do when they have less customers than employees. Can't believe that there franchise licenses aren't removed. You complain online and ask to be contacted and no one will respond. If you eat at Taco Bell and like tomatoes on your tacos-bring your own tomatoes! I "added" tomatoes to my crunchy tacos- they charge 90 cents. But wait- I asked for no cheese- What?? So my family and I were punched in the face by the smell of a portapotty that has been baking in the sun for three weeks as soon as we walked in. However this was not even the worst part of our experience. We walked over to the front counter and ordered our food, and upon filling my cup with ice I realized that the ice machine was broken and when I took my cup out from under the ice dispenser it proceeded to shoot out ice all over the floor. That is just inconvienience, and it sometimes happens so we didn't really think about it. We then were heading toward our seat when we saw an employee mopping with soapy water, and made the floor very slick, which didn't worry us as much as the fact that there was exactly one wet floor sign in the entire store. While we were eating our food, all we could taste is crap because that is how the entire store smelt.I had to go to the bathroom after I was done with my food and I was assaulted by an even more putrid smell of rotting corpses which I didn't know was possible! I went into the stall and did my business and saw that there was no more toilet paper except the roll that was sitting on the moist ground. At this point I would have rather used my hand, but we still had five hours to drive together in the car so I figured I would use the toilet paper. I then went to wash my hands and realized that there was no hand soap, and no paper towels! I looked over to the hand dryer and used that instead. I started reading the instructions which stated this. 1. Push button 2. Rub hands together briskly 3. Dry hands on pants This needs to be reviewed by the health department, or just remodel the entirety of the building. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY FOOD FROM THIS KFC OR TACOBELL. OK so I never write reviews but I feel compelled to protect my fellow man from the KFC in Prosser. It's a dump. We drive through occasionally from Eastern WA back to home in Central WA. The last 2 times they have been out of Original Recipe. You read it right, KFC out of chicken! This time 2 drive thru guest had to come in within 3 minutes for messed up orders. The place is run down, poorly managed and terrible at customer service. If you like KFC, stop in Sunnyside. If you stop in Prosser, consider yourself forewarned and eat at your own risk. read more

Over many visits just for variety as I have always liked bot wings, the service at this particular store has been consistently bad. Enough so that I have taken the time to do the satisfaction surveys twice. The food is either old or they say we dont have any of that and it will take 5-10 min. Orders from the drive threw are wrong more then right. When you try to get it corrected, there seems to be no concern or were sorry about that. This place is repulsive. We'd been on the road for a little while and we decided to stop to get a bite and I needed to use the restroom. As soon as you open the bathroom door, you're assaulted by the strongest raw sewage smell you'll ever experience inside a building. We walked over to the machine to get our drinks and he stopped us, letting us know that there was no ice. Okay.... Things happen. The girl handing our food out was nice enough to fill up our cups with ice from the drive thru machine. Cool. Walk over to the drink fountain and you're assaulted, again, by a rotting smell. This is getting old. So we forego drinks. Not risking it. Inspected our food (and praying we don't get food poisoning) and it looks relatively good. In fact, its the only reason I'm giving it stars at all. Oh by the way... We've been sitting here eating for the past 20 minutes. Every person that's come in after us has been asked to wait to the point they walk out. No reason, since there's no one in the drive thru. And they still haven't filled the ice machine, or put a sign that says its empty (or more likely broken). So glad we don't drive this way enough to have to come back. When we came here, there wasn't a lot of people, we asked for a meal to go then waited, we were the only customers there and 6 staff, and they act like a group of teenagers, they goof around and chat a lot, we had to wait for at least an hour to get our food, after we waited they finally gave us the food, they didn't even say sorry for the wait!!! I am 70 years old and so i thought to stop in PROSSER to pick up some Chicken, I order and 8 piece chicken only an order of your special fries . When I got home ,I found that They had given me 2 breasts, 2 wings, 2 thighs and that was it. Now I only went to the 6th grade but that adds up to 6 pieces, So I called them and they said that they would make it right if I brought it back. So i brought it back and they took the CHICKEN and replaced it. At this point I thought that "MC Donalds in Prosser was the only one that made these kind of errors. This was one of the worst fast food experiences of my life. They didn't even get a fork with my mashed potatoes. I guess these boneheaded cooks think that chicken tenders and a biscuit is used for my potatoes. There were no napkins in the store and when I asked the cashier for some he waved me off and said they had none. I ordered a freeze and i got a regular drink. They made me pay for the freeze even though I only got a fountain pop. The stupid cashier could even count change fast enough to save his own life. I had to help him count the change. Not only do they have the worst service, the managers themselves are completely and utterly rude. Everyone in Prosser knows this place is being run by managers whom mistreat their employees and once the customer has a problem, (which happens all of the time), they aren't the most friendly when it comes to finding a solution. I know multiple people who worked there and can guarantee that they don't care about their workers. More than once I've gone in because I love kfc but they always mess up my order by not getting it right, forgetting to add a side or something, or taking 20 minutes for my order to get to me when I have gone through the drive thru! Taco Bell is the same, bad service, multiple times my food has come cold and soggy. So toady was the final straw for us with Prosser KFC!! 21 min to get our food (2 box meals nothing huge), I had to go ask if they forgot and she replied yes. If you are ever traveling through Prosser, Do not waste your time going to the KFC / Taco Bell! the service is horrible, and they forget your orders most of the time. this is not my first bad experience with this particular store, which is why I am posting this. Last couple of times that I have been there, I had chocked it up to the being busy, which definitely was not the case this evening. This place is a joke. Even with the remodel and new staff the customer service sucks. They are rude. Your food sits on the counter and gets cold when they finally give it to you. I wasted 22 dollars there today. They had no napkins , the new sauce station wasn't stalked. Around the pop machine was dirty and every table was dirty. Horrible service! Ordered two 3 piece tender meals, the lady at the window says all they have is ranch for dressing.. Ok? So we wait nearly ten minutes in the parking area. finally when food is brought out, i ask her how can you only have ranch? she says we ran out of everything else.... Ok. So as my wife drives, my son and i are going to eat, No spoon for the mashed potatoes. Nice. I'm reading the reviews and can only agree. This restaurant shouldn't even be open! I live here and have tried to eat here off and on since it originally opened. So sad every time and I swear I'll never go back. Yes, they are always out of something. No mashed potatoes? Come on!!!! And yes, the biscuits are hard and crunchy. That is if you are fortunate enough for the staff to remember them. ALWAYS check your order if you use the window. This is the poorest run KFC I've ever eaten at. I read a review on another app called trucker path from 22 hours before writing this and the guy sounded more like a disgruntled customer that was just writing a bad review because he was told no but as I came to find out, pretty much everything he said was spot on. I walked in there and was repulsive off the bat. The building itself does have a problem with their plumbing and there's an overpowering and (in parts of the store) thick aroma of sewage. That alone isn't enough for me to go online write a negative review about anything because it's no ones fault at the store, I'm sure it's been reported through the manager chain but as with anything of that magnitude corporate takes forever to find a way fix the problem. But yeah, what got me to write the review though is how dirty this place was. Just EVERYWHERE! The tables had not been wiped down in hours, someone spilled some soda in front of the counter where you pick up your food and so the floor was stickey and turned blackish, the soda fountain was looked like it hadn't been wiped down in years and the Lipton Tea dispenser thingy next to the soda fountain was leaking leaving a puddle next to it and the soda machine and that's all just no bueno. At the end of the day it's just a KFC full of kids working their first job and you can't expect much that's not a good enough excuse. And also, just as I was getting my food I heard some one tell 2 people to go on break which as former manager myself(different forms and restaurants throughout my 10 years in food service) I've said before but it was always preceded by check(wipe down)the lobby. read more
