I go to this location often. The food is good and always fresh! However I find it frustrating that every time I try to order in the drive thru it's like they try to talk you out of ordering items. If I want the new potato bites or wedges they always say sorry we don't have those and you would have to wait for us to cook them. Yes I understand the food has to cook. I still want them. I recently asked for a mixed bucket and she said sorry I don't have enough to do that. Im like you don't have enough chicken for that? Turns out they just don't have enough ready and don't want to cook more. I would have happily waited. Instead I did not get what I came for and when I'm dropping $40 for one bucket of chicken I want what I came for. Additionally when you have to wait you have to completely leave the parking lot which means merging into busy Yellowstone and pulling in to the neighboring parking lot then merging onto Yellowstone again. The ambiance is quite nice and the food is good but the service is a terrible a crew member named Mars was quite rude when we tried to get his attention for some ketchup packets, over all the food and ambiance is good but the service not so much, and also it takes upwards of 20 minutes for the food to come out and when we tried to ask for ketchup again they ignored us until we said something again. read more

Don't normally leave reviews, but this KFC contsistently, without fail gets our order wrong. Tonight we ordered a side of mashed potatoes instead of fries and did not get it. On top of that we asked for them to make sure they put the honey for the biscuits into the bag at the window and still did not get the honey. I hadn't had KFC in years. Was craving a crispy chicken sandwich and have been let down lately by my go-to's for crispy chicken sandwiches at Wendy's and Jack in the Box. So I thought why not. The chicken was hot, juicy, crispy and a very large strip. The sauce was good and I was satisfied. The prices were on the higher side for the portion served however. Explained different items since we hadn't been here in years. He literally would go around the counter and open the door for elderly people. We were visiting Pocatello from Wyoming and rubbing some errands and we decided to stop at KFC for lunch. We were greeted right away by a friendly cashier. We all four ordered the five dollar chicken tenders box with two Mac and cheeses, and two mashed potatoes. The ordering and paying process was flawless and we grabbed our drinks and sat down. Within just a few minutes our food was ready. Everything was hot and flavorful. The chicken tenders were flaky on the outside, and juicy and tender on the inside. Mashed potatoes and biscuit were both on point. The cookie was just mediocre, but other than that everything was fantastic. Even the bathroom was clean and spacious. Overall we'll be heading back to this KFC the next time we want our KFC fix. read more

Worst place ever. They will screw up your order then argue with you that they didn't. Last time I went there it smelled like someone had peed on the floor. Even if you order something simple and small they will take forever to get it ready. Decided to have a family & friends supper on Tuesday night (03/23/21). We all decided KFC, as we hadn't had it in so long. I will NEVER go to the Pocatello Idaho KFC again! The place was DISGUSTING, I almost backed out of getting anything from this store! Had everyone who was eating been there I would have said 'No let's go someplace else', but unfortunately half of the people eating stayed at home. I order a chicken tenders meal, and they were out of fries, which were what half the people wanted with their meals. We were suppose to get extra biscuits in place of the no fries, and we did not. Also I did not get chicken tenders, I got a breast, wing & thigh, I do not care for white chicken meat. The place was so dirty, wrappers, straws, food and other miscellaneous garbage all over the floors behind the counter. The floors were so dirty and greasy that one of the gals working back there was sliding all over the place! Never again! I will also advise all my friends & family to not buy at the Pocatello KFC either. If I could write a review with ZERO stars, I would have. Again it was DISGUSTING! read more

I have been going to KFC since I was young and have put up with all their wrong orders or they are out of food a 7pm and told be an hour. well tonight was the last straw I know people can have a bad day or night but when they have 10 people behind the counter jacking their jaws after 15 min one of them ask anyone have a call in one of the three of us said yes told her his name she said I'll get on it. It should have already been done then anther guy comes in she then ignores the other guy and I who have now been waiting 20 min. This had to be the most disappointing fast food experience I can ever recall having in my life. The chicken pieces were so tiny that my first thought was that they should wait for the chickens to hatch out of the eggs before they attempt to cut them up and fry them. I was also wondering what had become of the supposed eleven herbs and spices as this was the most bland flavorless chicken I've ever ate and absolutely nothing like the KFC chicken of my youth. The thing that really irked me off was that there was a large crack in the bottom of the coleslaw container that ended in a huge mess everywhere. On top of all this they have the audacity to charge an arm and a leg for a less than mediocre dining experience. If you're looking for an enjoyable chicken dinner experience I suggest you just head to the nearest grocery store and visit the deli. read more

My brother and mother got chicken for me up there while they were on an errand and they came back totally flustered about what happened. They had wanted to let it go, but I am not going to. My mother went there and placed my order ($5 Fill Up) and everything was howdy duty until she wanted to do a second order and the man said no they could not do that (SINCE WHEN?) She said that was fine she would order somewhere else for the second order. When she got to the window she told the nice lady at the cashier (she changed her mind about going somewhere else) she would like to ADD to her order (adding is different than a second order) and that lady was very kind about adding and then when that rude man heard he ran out of the back and yelled "I SAID NO! I SAID YOU CANNOT HAVE A SECOND ORDER!" and when my mother said she was ADDING to the original order he told her "Fine fur ball no need to get offensive. She then told him he had very bad customer service and he stormed off into the back (I really hope he did not do anything bad to the addition of the order) Yes mom that is definitely bad customer service. I went to KFC to get a Chicken dinner for Valentine's Day. It was about 5 PM and they had a few people ahead of me. I placed an order on my credit card for their 9 piece crispy mixed white and dark meat dinner with 3 sides and 6 biscuits for $19.99. The cashier rang up my order and handed me my card and a receipt. I told her that I forgot to ask for my senior's discount. She said she was sorry but she couldn't give me a discount because she had already run my card through and there was nothing that could be done about that now. I argued with her for a time and she called the manager. He came and after speaking to her for a short time showed her how to credit my card and re-enter it up with the discount. I was then told they didn't have any crispy chicken now but it would be out in about 20 minutes. I wanted crispy so I said I'd wait. After about 25 minutes the manager loaded my bucket with the chicken and I left. When I got home, I noticed that the bucket lid had been pushed way down in the bucket. Usually when I ordered crispy chicken it bulged at the lid. I put all the chicken on a plate and noticed that I only had one white meat piece and it wasn't a whole half breast piece and the thighs weren't complete. Also, one of the wings was only the tip piece with a piece of a broken bone part attached. There were only 7 pieces and not 9. I took it back to get more white meat and the other 2 pieces. The manager waited on me again and said they were all out of chicken right now and it would be an hour before more chicken was available. I asked him why he had only given me 7 pieces and not 9. He said "They were busy." I ask him what I could do now as we were ready to eat at home. He thought about it for a minute and grabbed the sack with the earlier bucket of chicken I brought back and ceremoniously dropped it in a trash basket. He went over to the chicken keeper and started filling a bucket with chicken and handed it to me. When I got home, I noticed the bucket contained 12 traditionally coated pieces of chicken, not crispy. It had 1 broken and flattened rib cage with little white meat, 3 drum sticks and 3 wings, 2 wing parts, and 1 good and 2 partial thighs. I wasn't going back again. I've noticed KFC has been going more and more downhill for the last 10-15 years. I guess I'll just purchase my chicken from the grocery stores from now on. My family loves to eat KFC, but it seems that I cannot remember the last time that I have received all of my order. Right off the top of my head I can remember the last five times having to call in and let them know they missed adding something to our order. I know..I know..We should have been making sure before we drove away, my bad! But it just seems ridiculous that we should have to be so aware every single time. This is their business, and costumer satisfaction they can not deliver. If this has happened to our family on so many occasions, I can believe that it is not an isolated event. One of the last times they left something out of our order, we tried calling, and the phone just rang. We went in and they said they could not find their telephone, it had been missing since the day before! Can you believe that? The manager should have bought a new one if that was the case!
