An authentic taste of Philadelphia in Plymouth!…read more First let me say that good food takes time--and the quality you get here is worth the wait. So if you're carrying out or eating in, plan for the time it takes for this sweet family from Philly to make your steak & cheese with love. They just completed a remodel of the dining room and it's a great improvement; it couldn't look like the former "Little Man" (previous restaurant here) forever. The menu is pretty well edited. All of your classic steak & cheese are here, and chicken is a good option. Hoagies too, and their bread is the right kind for both of these. Breakfast is all day, and really good. Prices are very competitive--meaning, a lot less than this would cost in the City of Brotherly Love. Pro tip: ask for the special sauce on the side. I can't remember what he calls it but it's amazing. And you can ask for fries "extra crispy" if you're into that.

The salad was fresh with all my favorite toppings, like tiny diced ham, tomato and fresh cucumber, along with some banging ranch dressing. And did I mention the delicious dill pickle? So crunchy! My medium rare 8oz steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked. My baked potato was piping hot and perfect. Our waitress not only kept the half and half tea in our glasses, with plenty of ice on hand, but she was friendly and efficient, too. Some folks are just naturally great at this favor of customer service...and we routinely travel from Washington to Williamston for this very reason...they are consistent in delivering exceptional food and service. They've added some outdoor seating, which I can see enjoying in the fall. The inside could you some care and updates, but I'm not there for the ambiance, really. My focus is great food, and Ribeyes doesn't disappoint! Can't wait to go back!

Stopped by around dinner time and they were out of nearly everything we ordered. On our way back…read morefrom the beach, we were looking for a place to eat dinner. We searched Apple Maps for nearby restaurants and found Champs. When we arrived we were surprised to see that it was part of a gas station. This was fine and we parked and walked inside. A few other customers were waiting for their order. We chose what we wanted and placed the order on the kiosk. I love ordering kiosks as it is easy to view the menu and place the order. You don't pay at the kiosk, but at the cashier. After waiting a while, the employee behind the display case informed us that they were out of most of what we ordered. We had noticed the empty spaces in the display case, but expected they would be refilled. We were open to alternatives, but there wasn't enough to choose from. This was surprising as we arrived around 6 pm and they close at 7 pm. I guess go earlier if you want to eat here. We decided to pass on the food and ate at Bojangles. Luckily we hadn't paid yet. This may be a reasonable place to eat if you also need gas and/or convenience store items. I can't speak on the taste or quality of the food. The gas station is easy to locate and has ample parking.

Not sure what was going on with having a few tables in front the counter where you order cordoning off the counter by about a foot. Even when paying I had to reach about a foot and a half to swipe my card. Just strange. Another strange part was that I asked for oil and vinegar on my wrap, and was told that they could not add anything to those. So I can't get what I want? I guess not. It's not like I asked for anything crazy. Oil and vinegar! Nope! That I found truly bizarre. Maybe it was telling that I was in there at 12:30 PM and there was no line. I also had to stop the guy making the wrap before he put pickles on it which I had already said I did not want when I placed the order a few seconds earlier. "Sir, that will be 20 minutes on the chicken. Do you want to wait?" Sometimes they're out of chicken altogether. You're a fracking chicken restaurant, how can you be out of chicken? Today, I passed by the Williamston store on my way and figured I'd get my order there since I was driving by. Same stupid, pathetic response. That will be 20 minutes, we just started the chicken. WTAF? Who's managing these places? Literally no one cares from the top down. It's been this way for a few years now, and from what I understand it's the same story across the state. Bojangles apparently feels they can give horrible service and their customers will remain loyal. How much business is this company losing if the most consistent thing they do is ask their customers if they want to wait 20 minutes? You lost me as a customer. lol.
