I called them this morning and told them I wasn't coming in to get what they forgot on the order. I also asked for my money back noting that they did not fulfill their obligation to me as a customer. It was obvious the chicken was cooked in dirty oil, it was so bad I took one bite and it was so greasy that we threw it all away. I again asked for my money back and the manager said no as we had taken the food. He has a lousy attitude to be dealing with people. I will not be going to KFC ever again. My husband and I had an extremely disappointing experience at this KFC location. We waited nearly 50 minutes for our order--20 of those in the car before I went inside to check on the delay. What I witnessed was complete disorganization. The staff appeared overwhelmed, shouting back and forth, and clearly struggling to manage orders efficiently. It was chaotic and frustrating to watch. Even more concerning was the lack of basic food safety practices--none of the employees were wearing gloves, which raised serious sanitary concerns. This experience was unacceptable, and I strongly urge corporate to review the management and operations of this franchise. We will not be returning. I was craving chicken while at work today, and I figured this KFC was only about five minutes away, and I received a T-Mobile Tuesday promotion (3 tenders with fries for free with $5 purchase). I placed the order and was quoted a time, and I showed up a minute or two after the time, and the order was ready a minute or two later. All in all, today's journey to KFC was fine. There was a homeless man outside the front door, but once I made it inside, the restaurant was rather clean, and one woman who was staffing the drive-through and inside register acknowledged me and finished preparing my meal after helping someone at the drive-through. I felt bad that she may have been working there alone until I heard her yell an order to someone I couldn't see. I ordered the promotional three pieces of tenders, fries, and sauces. I also added on two regular sized sides of corn and green beans. Everything was good though I thought the vegetables were tastier than the chicken and fries. I felt this is an average KFC restaurant as the staff on this visit and on previous visits aren't concerned about customer service as much as making sure they stay on top of orders (which is certainly also important). Today's visit had the restaurant in a good condition though that wasn't always the case. While my order was ready only a few minutes after the quoted time, I've had orders that I've had to wait for quite some time on in the past. I haven't had any negative experiences like the one and two-star reviews mentioned on Yelp though I wasn't given any exceptional or above average service either. I will come back here again in the future to see if I get better service so I can increase the number of stars I rated them. I just came in for my interview here at 3550 W Thunderbird and the manager Christina was quite rude to me when I arrived stating that the store doesn't make enough money for an assistant manager with a very unprofessional attitude. The staff is respectfully polite, clean, and quick. I've never had any issues with this store over the years, and I've gone at all times of day. They even call you IF something is wrong with a mobile order, so they can resolve it before you arrive! I suggest going early when they open before lunch rush and from 1-3pm for an empty atmosphere. Not all KFC's are created equal. Over the past few months, I have rediscovered KFC, and genuinely enjoyed it. Decided I would get lunch here today, and came down to this particular one (I usually go to the one on 19th and Union Hills). I went with the $5 fill up box with 3 tenders, mashed potatoes, biscuit, drink and a cookie. Just a tad over $6.00 and well worth it for the amount of food you get. Went through the drive thru and then parked and grubbed down. Here is how it was............... Chicken Strips- Eh.....not nearly as good as the other KFC's I have recently been to. These strips were smaller, not coated as well, a little drier, and honestly, a bit skimp. They were piping hot (too hot to eat right away), so I could tell they were cooked fresh, but they reminded me of the "old KFC" and that is not a good thing. The breading was really light and not too crispy. The chicken had a funky texure to it too. Night and day from what I expected, and what I was craving. Biscuit- This biscuit was actually better than other KFC's I had been to. It was softer, and more buttery. Probably the best KFC biscuit I have ever had. Wish I had gotten a few more of them! Mashed Potatoes- Same as usual. A huge serving completely smothered in gravy. Tasty! Cookie- Good chocolate chip cookie. A nice bonus item added to the "box". Still warm and it had a ton of chocolate chips in it. Guy at the drive thru was nice and I got my food pretty quick. Too bad the chicken strips were whack! Follow up texts continued to push the delivery time out to 7:59. We were unable to ascertain what the issue was, so I called the store. The phone continued to ring unanswered until it rolled over to a busy signal. Called Door dash driver several times and received nothing but busy signals. No answers anywhere! Finally, at 7:48, food arrived. Driver was unable to speak English, so could offer no explanation. And of course the order was not correct and was semi warm, at best. I have since been unable to get any franchise or management information from this business to report this unacceptable issue. Poor, poor food and service. KFC - not what it used to be. Last Friday I went to the KFC at 35th and Thunderbird to pick up dinner for my family. I spent $54.00 for a 16 piece dinner. The mashed potatoes were not mixed, the gravy looked like black coffee and when my husband used tongs to take the chicken out of the bucket the skin fell off. I made a complaint to KFC online and got an email with a tracking number and was told that someone would get back to me, nobody did. I called KFC and was told that they had forwarded my issue to the store. I asked why the store hadn't gotten back to me and the agent said "bad management".
