If I could give Zero stars, I would! I called ahead to make sure the store had Green Beans. And chicken... because like another customer on here. I've been there 3 separate occasions well before closing time and they didn't have chicken ready... this time they said they had both, so I drove across town paid $41 only to return home to find that not only did I not have the green beans I called for, but no biscuits, and none of the condiments. AND they had me pull around and I waited 10 minutes for them to get the chicken that was "ready". Because of the wait, I was distracted and didn't double check the order. This is unacceptable, and I really doubt I'll be back. Do better! I don't know if it is a management problem, an employee problem, or the owner of the franchise doesn't care, but this is ridiculous! *update*. The chicken was also old, and the sides that were there were low quality... plus before actually eating, I tried to call back, and it rang 20 times before I hung up... the store wasn't busy when I picked it up and it was an hour and a half before close. Went to KFC on hwy 54. Placed my order for a 10 pc bucket of chicken. It wa $10 Tuesday. After the order was taken noticed several people standing around. It was a 35 minute wait. Zero common sense. On $10 night chicken should be in fryer. One woman asked for a refund, she had to wait another 10 minutes for the refund. She asked the manager for her name but she refused to give her her name. This is the poorest excuse for a resturant I've expierenced in a long time. It's convenient for me on my way home but never again. Even at $10 a bucket it's not worth it. We went through the drive through. they had no mash potatoes so we ordered an 8 count nugget and mac and cheese with 2 Pepsis. the woman working sounded rude. We got our food And the Pepsi was horrible and we didn't get our sauces. we waited 10 minutes and switched out our drinks. We paid for a large and got a medium back. Ordered from them tonight and they claimed they were slammed yet have no food. My order was a 16 piece bucket meal with 4 sides and apparently they were completely out. I have been to this KFC 3 times now in the past 2 weeks. Twice I have asked for chicken legs and have been refused. One time they didn't have any chicken available except for the nuggets. This is the first KFC that has not ever let me choose the chicken I want with my meal. Then I asked if I could add chicken legs to my order and was told it would be $4 extra for each chicken leg. Very dissatisfied with this KFC and will likely never come back. I would give 0 stars if it allowed! read more

This is another one of the eating establishments that you should leave off your list if you are hungry and expect to have an enjoyable dining experience. There was not any chicken ready for customers to eat for the buffet, but had to wait 25 minutes for it to be added. Absolutely the worst KFC experience I've ever had. I saw the ad for the 8 piece chicken strips and figure I would give it a shot. When we pulled up at the window they were super quick about taking my card and handing out the food ( yeah I say food because I can't put exactly what I think it was). This is the only KFC buffet I've ever been to, not sure how many of these there are. The buffet has both original and crispy chicken, you can ask for more if they run out and they will fill with whatever portion you like. Other buffet items include green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, chicken and beef gravies, chicken livers, chicken dumpling soups and two mouse like desserts. The trash in the dining room is literally pilling up over the chutes and onto the tray holder. Restrooms are a disaster, on every one of my visits either soap or paper towels were missing. Lastly the staff is super slow, especially at peak hours. Overall a good value but you may want to reconsider if you have other options. Sorry to say KFC we remember no longer exist in Owensboro. Got extra crispy chicken and so hard I struggled to bite into it. Took several bites of batter before finding the meat. Had the buffet and it was very limited. Could have paid same price for a much bigger and better buffet. Be forewarned if you want good chicken go someone else. read more

Visited this location twice in 6 months both times the chicken was so salty no one in the family could eat it. Dumped the entire bucket of chicken in the trash. Who ever preps and cooks the chicken is not following KFC recipe. We will not go back to KFC. read more
