As soon as I landed and made my way to the hotel, I was starving so B-Line Diner it was! I was greeted and seated fairly quickly. Once seated, a waitress came over and dropped off a menu and water. Ordered the Fish (Salmon) Sandwich with chips. The sandwich was good for what it was. The salmon was fresh and I really enjoyed the mango salsa served on it. One negative was that the avocado was not as fresh as I would have preferred. Overall, the service was good and the food nourished me which was the goal. It's a diner so define the ambiance by that.

It certainly has a diner feel, so it's definitely not fine dining, and despite potentially large crowds due to events going on throughout the week, its flow is well managed and long lines don't take too long to get through. I stopped by with a party of 2 right after morning rounds of competitions in the convention center, and hopped in line around 11:15 am on a weekday. The line looked long at first but only took 10 minutes to get through. We sat down to order and was informed that they were still in the tail end of breakfast service so lunch would start at 11:30 am. So we sat for a bit and then the waiter came back around to take our lunch order. Sandwiches and burgers are ~$20 so closer to $25-30 after tax and tip. We got the B-Line Burger and Grilled Chicken Burger. Both were great and the fries that came with them were excellent as well. Portions are between fair and generous, and after a nice shared key lime pie to round out the lunch, we left satisfied. Ambiance is casual and service was good. Check it out if you're in the area!

We did not get any milkshakes but definitely will visit shake shacks near home and try it out. Highly recommend this place!

I ordered a gluten-free cheeseburger as a lettuce wrap and specifically asked the employee to change his gloves before preparing my food. I watched the entire process and he never did. To make matters worse, they had run out of cheese slices and substituted cheese sauce without asking or informing me. I should have been informed and given the choice, not handed a burger with a substitution I never agreed to. Cheese sauce typically contains thickeners that may not be gluten-free, and I had no way of knowing whether it was safe for me to eat. When I raised my concerns with the manager, it was clear he had no understanding of cross-contamination. For anyone with dietary restrictions or food sensitivities, this location is not safe. I've been a Shake Shack customer for over 20 years and have never had an experience this bad. This location stood out for all the wrong reasons: poor food handling, no regard for customer safety, and a level of dirtiness I've never seen at any other location. Avoid!

We are here for a volleyball tournament and this place is right across from the Orange County…read moreConvention Center. Due to the proximity we've eaten here a few times to get something quick and sadly, we have yet to encounter an employee who seems like they are happy to be there or somewhat enjoys their job. Getting someone's attention at the pick up counter to request ketchup (which they never include with your order) or a refill of your drink is next to impossible because none of the employees make eye contact with you when they are putting orders on the counter. Rather than anyone proactively asking "how may I help you?", you have to get their attention by interrupting their pattern of ignoring their customers or you would likely be standing there all day like you are invisible. On the receipt they give you, there is a survey that you can fill out to receive a free burger with the purchase of another burger. I filled it out and when we were there today, there was nowhere to add it to our order in the kiosk (and that's the only way to order food there). I had to choose the pay at the counter option and then had to wait again trying to get someone's attention to help me, because no one mans the counter! When I finally did, he said that he couldn't help me because to use the BOGO code they gave me from the survey, I needed a manager. He went to tell the manager what I needed and all I heard her say loudly was "he'll have to wait, I'm busy right now!". So I waited some more and finally she came over and helped me but she acted like I was an inconvenience and that she was doing me a favor. I'm guessing my order didn't actually start until after I paid because we had to wait even longer despite ordering from the kiosk 10 minutes prior. So while the food is what you would expect from Mickey D's and the convenience/location is great, the customer service there is severely lacking. Sadly it hasn't gotten any better in the 3 years we've been coming to this tournament. I know, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice (or more), shame on me! Sadly my kid likes their food. I also included a picture of my hamburger today - are they now using mini grape tomatoes in their burgers?

My nephew and I stopped in for a quick lunch and playtime, and we had a great experience. We ordered at the kiosk, took our number upstairs to the play area, and the staff was incredibly friendly. They brought our food to the table, helped with drink refills, and made the visit easy and enjoyable. The food was fresh, the play area was clean and well maintained, and there were plenty of kids playing while still feeling organized and welcoming. What makes this location special is the extensive menu that goes beyond a typical McDonald's, along with the large play area and arcade. We didn't use the arcade this visit, but it's a great option to have. Parking is free, and it's a fun, convenient way to spend an afternoon with kids without paying theme park prices. Based on my experiences here, I would absolutely recommend it to families with young children.

I sadly just realized that I have never reviewed Freddy's. I have been here so often that I…read moreassumed that I already had! Time to fix that oversight. Now this review has nothing to do with that my father's name was Freddy and that my mother's favorite treat was frozen custard. But those little tidbits of information don't hurt. The warm feeling that I get when I eat frozen custard reminiscent of enjoying it on the boardwalk with my mom is renewed at Freddy's not because of the ambience of the restaurant, but because of that same delicious taste that my mind still seems to remember from long ago that I have not found anywhere else before this. But I digress. Freddy's may look like your typical fast food restaurant, but it is anything but. I already loved it for the burgers, the french fries with their wonderful sauce, and of course, the custard but now they have a salad as well. Really fresh greens with my favorite burger on top as a garnish. Low-carb great taste and totally filling. But not so filling as to not leave room for that wonderful custard. On this particular visit, I did run into an issue which I will not lower my rating because of, but want people aware of so it does not happen to them. If you have a coupon for a discounted custard, and they ring in any other item after that, it will restore the custard to the full price on their register. I did not notice that and paid the full price. The manager did give me a card for a free custard next visit so they certainly took responsibility but just wanted people aware to keep an eye on that. In defense of the staff, I don't think they noticed either that it had occurred, so I did not allow that to detract from my impression of five star service from their pleasant, friendly and attentive staff Of course the custard is a star. It comes in all sorts of different ways to serve it. I tend to usually be a purist indeed, as a soft serve, but sometimes their specials are so exciting that I cannot resist. I have never tasted any of them that I did not find awesome. Their steakburgers should not be left as an afterthought. These are not like other fast food burgers; the meat is actually very tasty and because there's not any "proprietary" seasonings on it I even order an extra one so that I can sit outside with my puppy and she can enjoy it. It is small enough to not be unhealthy for her and big enough to be a satisfying snack. Its fat content does not make her ill like the typical fast food burger would. I personally like the fries and find the sauces to be quite good. Prices are more than reasonable and they have hours that make them convenient whenever you're hungry or craving that custard fix. I am a Freddy's fan and wish they would open one closer to where I live in Miami.

The resturant inside was very clean, and the employees working behind the counter were very nonchalant. I ended up ordering their grilled chicken sandwich combo with their famous skinny fries. My mom got the Freddy's Original double combo with a Turtle milkshake and onion rings. The sandwich portion was big. The chicken was very juicy and tasted alright. The fries, however, were not seasoned. I had to get a salt and pepper packet to season them. At that point, they were very good, tasty, and crispy! Overall, the meal was okay. It was nothing spectacular but also nothing terrible either. As for my mom, she wasn't very impressed with her hamburger. She said the portion size was good, but she would describe the hamburger itself as "lacy." She said it was okay, but since it took us 27 minutes to get here, she said Culver's was better in quality and closer. She was underwhelmed by the onion rings. She said it was more of the fried breading and barely any onion inside. However, she did enjoy her milkshake, but struggled to suck it up through the straw. It was enjoyable to try a new establishment, but it was just a mid experience for me.
