Came here today to grab dinner.. I was greeted with a hello and welcome to KFC. other than having to order from a kiosk, which most places are going to. The experience was pretty simple and easy. After ordering I expected to wait 10-15 minutes for my order (12pc dark extra crispy). I got it really quick, I didn't even have time to sit at a table. This is definitely a sleeper location for fried chicken! I'll definitely choose this place over any other! read more

The manager Erica is such a nice lady. She was very helpful and fixed our order and made it right. She was so nice and friendly that's what you call customer service. Thanks, Erica read more

Everything in my order was old except the wedges. The chicken was rancid so sad the quality has gone down but the price continues to go up. read more

KFC - Fast Food Near Me - Odessa, Texas

I went in waited for my food for about 30 minutes and then ended up getting the wrong order, it was a spicy sandwich meal and a 20 piece wings with wedges and they didnt even give me my drink, my buddy said that when my name was called while i was in the bathroom they ended up giving my order to someone else and just gave me whatever they had cooked after 30 minutes, awful service and not worth the dine in experience. read more

I was through the drive thru line in less than 5 minutes. The food was hot and the servers were polite. My order was just as I ordered it. This staff is working hard to improve this location. read more

KFC - 8 pc original family style tenders 34$ was what i was charged absolute robbery.. - Fast Food Near Me - Odessa, Texas

Great online bargains but if you order on line my order is burnt or old chicken .I guess I should have learned after 4th time.

I went to the restaurant on JBS in Odessa, Tx. and ordered a family meal to go. I asked for the chicken to be very crispy because I want to make sure that the chicken is cooked very well all the way through. I live a couple of miles from the restaurant so when I got home we open the bucket. I sliced one of the chicken breasts open, and of course it's pink. And not only that, the crust was not crunchy at all. In fact it was soggy. I went back to the restaurant, and when I got to the window, the manager was already standing there, and very rudely said to me, " let me see it". She said, "we test our temperature to make sure it's cooked and the only reason the crust would be soggy is from picking it up and driving home because it sweats inside the bucket". Lmao Ummm, I have to say this.... we've eaten chicken from quite a few chicken restaurants, and taken it to go, and this has never happened. The bucket has little air vent holes around the top... which is where you stick your finger through to pull the top off. She said, "we have enough chicken right now, cooked and ready and I'll just exchange it out". What would've been the right thing for her to do, is to admit the chicken was not cooked all the way, but she didn't. I know she knew it wasn't cooked all the way through because once she opened the bucket and could see the piece that I cut open and could see that the crust wasn't crunchy, there was no doubt that chicken had not been cooked thoroughly. And that BS about the lid on the bucket caused the chicken to sweat and is the reason the crust was soggy. NOT true! At least not to the extent it was! It was barely cooked. Def didn't reach the crunchy state while cooking it. Over the last year, we have given them three chances to make it right the first time. It's always something. Tired of wasting money. It was $35 for our family meal. That's not cheap for freakin' take home food!! We will NOT be back! read more

amazing people and great food can't complain love some chicken in original and they got wings and wedges back

PERFICT EXAMPLE! Of why so many KFC are closing down. They never have product but don't take it off the website menu. Today, ordered and when we got there we were told oh we dont have biscuits or pot pies sorry here's the rest of your order. Nothing to compensate or to make up for. Biscuits are one of the main reasons people used to go here. I see why it's always dead but yet service is still slow. Owner or management does not care about customer service at all. You still paid for it we got your money. Oops sorry we don't have that item. 0/5 stars would not recommend. read more

This site was visited at 8:15 pm and was out of biscuits and chicken, Mac n cheese, chicken strip. They refused to cook any more food even though they said they were open until 10pm. They gave no eating utensils, no drink that we ordered, and would not give the dipping sauce we ordered. When my husband asked why they wouldn't cook our order, they just said because they weren't cooking anything else this Saturday night. So we paid for our food online and barely got half our order and no offer for compensation or to come back at another time for the rest of our food. No offer to refund our money or anything. The food was old, no where close to fresh Don't waste your time going here read more

the service was horrible, they lady at the window. on April 4th 2024 @ 8:50pm would not take my order, then I pulled up to the window and she refused to take my order, and started calling me out of my name, i Asked for her name so I can speak to the manager and she mentioned Kiana key, then she followed with nothing is going to happen to her since shes the manager. KFC is 1 star in Odessa due to people like her. read more

Much improved service and food quality! They were friendly and courteous and quick. *****

We went today cause of course its fathers day, and they said the dining area was closed, so of course we were upset , then once we returned home I called the location to speak to someone and asked if the dining area was opened, and the person on the phone was named Anna and I asked her if the dining area was open and she stated "no" due to short staffed employees, that is just absurd and there just irresponsible, they should follow the dining area hours no matter the situation, I will be no longer be returning there. read more

Can't say much about this KFC because I quit patronizing this restaurant a few years ago as every time I went thru the drive thru and ordered they were out of coleslaw - mash potatoes and yes the chicken around 6:00 - 7:00 pm - maybe it's better - if it is - write a review and let's us all know in mean time I will stay away from this establishment read more

Worst KFC I've ever been to. Took 40 minutes being stuck in the drive through while employees sat smoking "cigarettes" out back with some random plain clothes guy . I could hear employees arguing and cursing at each other. At one point an employee yelled loudly that we "should **** stop ordering chicken" And judging from other reviews they either never reorder items or just say they are out of an item when they don't want cook it . As they were "out" of two things I tried to get. Terrible, terrible time. This location is making your brand look bad. And after all that I paid and didn't even get my cookie. read more

Horrible service, for only 3 costumers ahead of us 47 min waiting. They refuse to give me receipt and I ask why was taking so long I was told that "If I dont like it I can go somewhere else" I ask to speak with the manager and she was the manager. Felty and dirty everywhere. Please dont come here. read more

I don't know about the other reviews, but every time I order the food is great. Manager is awesome, the workers are quick.

I was thoroughly impressed! The store looks really great. The new management are keeping things in great shape. Had amazing customer service from a man named mitchell! what a great attitude and kind quick friendly service! things are looking up at this KFC. If you get a craving for some fresh delicious fried chicken it's definitely worth it! read more

Went at 7 pm on Wednesday. Asked for best coupon deal offered 10 piece deal with sides and a cake. Paid at the window and the asked me to pull around waited 10 minutes expecting fresh cooked chicken, they brought to the car and I left got home no cake, chicken looked like it come from a trashcan we threw it away and went to Golden Chick and got almost the same order but good. I went to KFC the next day to get my money back they said they were not authorized to do that so I ask for some one that was authorized and they told me to leave I told them after I got a number I'd be happy to go. They promptly called police I was polite the whole episode. I will not recommend anyone to go there, read more

Never have any chicken for a restaurant whose entire sales is based around it. Absolutely worst excuse for a restaurant. Have absolutely no clue how they stay in business. Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else. read more

In the nicest way possible, Odessa has no "good" KFC. This one, I don't know why, just will never have any chicken ready. Or there's a long line, for whatever reason. I'm not giving this a 1- star rating because of a few of the staff we've encountered. They're always polite to us, and at the end they compensate us in one way or another. However, I would like it if something were to be changed about how this specific KFC operates on food timing. read more

Guess I'll have to go with the general consensus here, and I really did walk in prepared to give the benefit of the doubt. I was probably the first walk-in customer of the day at 11:05am, though the drive-thru was pretty busy, and hence receives apparent priority, as we had to wait several minutes to put in an order despite being the only two people in the dining area. Upside: The chicken about as good as you can expect. I probably would never give KFC fried chicken anything over 3 stars on their best day, and my 3 strips + 1 leg were good enough to make the grade. However: despite my being the likely first customer to use the bathroom on the day, the state if it was pretty f*&#ing gross. My apologies for the pseudo-bad language. It had clearly not been cleaned in quite a few uses. Like, a LOT. A WHOLE LOT. Final upside: I didn't get food poisoning. .9 stars read more

Sooooo yeah another place to totally avoid. What's bad is I live on JBS parkway n this review is about several awful visits not juss one. Come here to the drive through and you will be waiting for at least n hour....I hope chicken is important to u. Speaking of chicken this is KFC.........I have come to this place on at least 2 occasions and was told they were out of chicken. No not Mac n cheese, green beans, or any of the sides, out of chicken. Wtf r u even open for if you don't have chicken!! This place is terrible!! I like KFC more than Popeyes but I've gone to Popeyes way more than here Bc I know service here is shameful. Idk who the manager or owner or whatever is at this place but they need to sit down n really examine this operation. The KFC sign needs to come down here. They are making a mockery of my favorite chicken place. read more

Wish I'd read the review before ordering. It took forever for someone to take my order at the drive through window and this was after the car in front of me left due to the wait. Now I'm stuck in the line waiting for my order with no way to leave. It's been 25 minutes since I entered their parking lot to order. Doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency at all. The last time I was here was a few years ago before they renovated and the service was bad then as well but I thought maybe things would have changed since then. read more

Waiting in line 1 hour no body came to drive thru intercom and take our order ... the previous night I orders Nashville hot littles they had no pickles no Nashville hott sauce on the sandwhiches ... then they give you attitude about the mistakes they make ..:. Then you call and want to speak to a manager they hang up on you very disrespectful... it takes them almost 45 minutes to get a small order out and I'm actually in line right now still waiting ...(March 11,2019) 8:17:45 actual time waiting for 4 Nashville hots look at the pictures you'll be disappointed read more

I went through the drive through and the worker said that original recipe will take 8 minutes and I said that I will wait. Then she said, "well, I'm not sure if we have Any original recipe left since there are people waiting." That's the only thing they sell is chicken and they are uncertain if they will have chicken ??! Does the manager not know how to do inventory??? Then I called this evening to ask if they have original recipe chicken available and the worker responded, "as far as I know". Really??? Wow! read more

Worst service in Odessa. The employees clearly do not care if they do their jobs or not. The wait time in the drive through is always at least 30 minutes. I will not be back. read more

Longest wait for chicken I've ever seen in my life. It's like you got the blind leading the blind in there. 2 people smoking outside one taking out trash and the line to the street. I've been here longer than an hour and still don't have my chicken! Update have my chicken they forgot half the order. Never going to this KFC again. Employees arguing about hours too. read more

This place really doesn't deserve a star at all... I don't know what is going on with the KFC... Something needs to change... You wait more then an hour, and then you get your food and its wrong... I waited in the Lobby for over an hour and still my order was wrong..... Need to get better management or closed down... read more

So, on May 10/21, I go thru the drive thru at this restaurant and order the 5 piece Tenders meal, which is supposed to come with two (2) sides as part of the meal. I get charged for the two (2) sides separately meaning I get overcharged because the girl working the drive thru window doesn't know her job. She doesn't greet me, she doesn't say Thank you. This place is in need of some serious management help!! I won't be back! read more

Worthless place to even try to eat. Why they are even open when they're out of chicken I'll never know.

We like KFC better than any other! BUT we were horribly wrong for going to this place! We were in line inside, the nice woman in front of us placed her order. We ordered, sat down waiting for our food, she received her order and left. We continue to wait for an additional 15 minutes, no food. Okay they're busy with the drive thru and phone orders. After about 30 minutes, we check on our order just to find out they NEVER started it !! We were told that our inside order will NOT be filled until ALL the the drive thru and phone orders are filled!!! We sad we want a refund and that upset them! We will NEVER be back read more

The absolute WORST KFC I have been to in the NATION! Literally!! It's been this way for years. I decided to give it ONE more try after not eating there in over a year.. nothing has changed! I was informed right away they were out of fries, coleslaw, and drumsticks! Usually we get the message "we're out of chicken" Like really?? That's what you do!! Absolute worst! read more

Out of sandwiches at 9pm. Also, no tea or chicken littles. If you're not looking for only the family chicken dinner, drive past this KFC.

Wish I had read reviews before I tried to get a meal here. Really had my heart set on some kfc though. Sat with about 30 minutes of YouTube podcasts in a line of five cars be fore I got to order (3 people in front of me just straight up left so I was prolly looking at an hour wait just too order). The hell is this place's problem? It's all one star reviews and management hasn't tried to make changes? It's clear the staff is woefully underprepared to deal with the high speed world of frying chicken and scooping mashed potatoes. Sorry in advance to the workers I try not to crap on people In fast food but this was so lame it almost caused a traffic issue for people trying to eat there because of the line back up. I'll prolly go back because I like kfc but y'all seriously need to get fresh workers in there and replace these people who don't care about their jobs. There is more than likely one person in charge there who just doesn't give a shit though and if you cut that dingus out the whole place will likely operate better. read more

This kfc is the worst! Place a order ahead and still had to wait 15 min then got the order wrong so waited some more. They are rude and will not pay any attention to customers that come in to eat. Do not go here! They need some serious restaffing. read more
