Today, ordered and when we got there we were told oh we dont have biscuits or pot pies sorry here's the rest of your order. Nothing to compensate or to make up for. I went to the restaurant on JBS in Odessa, Tx. and ordered a family meal to go. I asked for the chicken to be very crispy because I want to make sure that the chicken is cooked very well all the way through. I live a couple of miles from the restaurant so when I got home we open the bucket. I sliced one of the chicken breasts open, and of course it's pink. And not only that, the crust was not crunchy at all. In fact it was soggy. I went back to the restaurant, and when I got to the window, the manager was already standing there, and very rudely said to me, " let me see it". She said, "we test our temperature to make sure it's cooked and the only reason the crust would be soggy is from picking it up and driving home because it sweats inside the bucket". Lmao Ummm, I have to say this.... we've eaten chicken from quite a few chicken restaurants, and taken it to go, and this has never happened. The bucket has little air vent holes around the top... which is where you stick your finger through to pull the top off. She said, "we have enough chicken right now, cooked and ready and I'll just exchange it out". What would've been the right thing for her to do, is to admit the chicken was not cooked all the way, but she didn't. I know she knew it wasn't cooked all the way through because once she opened the bucket and could see the piece that I cut open and could see that the crust wasn't crunchy, there was no doubt that chicken had not been cooked thoroughly. And that BS about the lid on the bucket caused the chicken to sweat and is the reason the crust was soggy. NOT true! At least not to the extent it was! It was barely cooked. Def didn't reach the crunchy state while cooking it. Over the last year, we have given them three chances to make it right the first time. It's always something. Tired of wasting money. This site was visited at 8:15 pm and was out of biscuits and chicken, Mac n cheese, chicken strip. They refused to cook any more food even though they said they were open until 10pm. They gave no eating utensils, no drink that we ordered, and would not give the dipping sauce we ordered. When my husband asked why they wouldn't cook our order, they just said because they weren't cooking anything else this Saturday night. So we paid for our food online and barely got half our order and no offer for compensation or to come back at another time for the rest of our food. No offer to refund our money or anything. We went today cause of course its fathers day, and they said the dining area was closed, so of course we were upset , then once we returned home I called the location to speak to someone and asked if the dining area was opened, and the person on the phone was named Anna and I asked her if the dining area was open and she stated "no" due to short staffed employees, that is just absurd and there just irresponsible, they should follow the dining area hours no matter the situation, I will be no longer be returning there. read more

Worst KFC I've ever been to. Took 40 minutes being stuck in the drive through while employees sat smoking "cigarettes" out back with some random plain clothes guy . I could hear employees arguing and cursing at each other. At one point an employee yelled loudly that we "should **** stop ordering chicken" And judging from other reviews they either never reorder items or just say they are out of an item when they don't want cook it . Went at 7 pm on Wednesday. Asked for best coupon deal offered 10 piece deal with sides and a cake. Paid at the window and the asked me to pull around waited 10 minutes expecting fresh cooked chicken, they brought to the car and I left got home no cake, chicken looked like it come from a trashcan we threw it away and went to Golden Chick and got almost the same order but good. In the nicest way possible, Odessa has no "good" KFC. This one, I don't know why, just will never have any chicken ready. Or there's a long line, for whatever reason. I'm not giving this a 1- star rating because of a few of the staff we've encountered. They're always polite to us, and at the end they compensate us in one way or another. I was probably the first walk-in customer of the day at 11:05am, though the drive-thru was pretty busy, and hence receives apparent priority, as we had to wait several minutes to put in an order despite being the only two people in the dining area. Upside: The chicken about as good as you can expect. I probably would never give KFC fried chicken anything over 3 stars on their best day, and my 3 strips + 1 leg were good enough to make the grade. However: despite my being the likely first customer to use the bathroom on the day, the state if it was pretty f*&#ing gross. My apologies for the pseudo-bad language. I have never in my life felt so sick to my stomach. This place is absolutely filthy. Dirt and grime on every chair. The floors were covered in trash. Under the drink area was piled high with dirt and trash. The containers on the counter holding condiments looked like they hadn't been washed in 5 years. The worst thing was the employees. One employee was sitting in the eating area cussing and carrying on. The female employee that helped us stood at the counter eating food!!!!!
