I visited KFC on Westport Avenue in Norwalk, CT today. I haven't been in a long time so I thought I would try it. I should have kept driving! Ordered two pieces of crispy chicken with fries and a soda. The first piece of chicken, a leg, was crispy and the meat was okay. Second piece of chicken was unidentifiable! Very crispy and very, very greasy! So greasy I couldn't turn the page of my newspaper! The fries were extra, extra crispy and crunched with each bite. Inedible! I should have known better because when I walked in the smell of old grease permeated the air! My second hint that I should have left was when the cashier went around the corner and proceeded to fill french fry containers without using gloves!!!! Sorry KFC, but what happened to you! read more

I'm not sure how this KFC/Taco bell is still open? They have terrible customer service skills. Walk in on 8/3/23 at 8 pm to order food. Two cars in drive through and two customers before me. Both customers have a look of disgust on their faces. No one is at the counter, 3 people are cooking, and one guy is doing drive-through and supposed to be doing counter? Not that busy, but the customer is yelling why is it taking so long for 3 pieces of chicken,and the lady is just shaking her head, knowing she is going to be there for a while. I just walk out, not standing there if no one is at the counter helping customers. Feel somewhat sorry for employees because they are doing their best, but the manager needs to hire or get fired, the place is not run correctly. No sign up that says they are hiring?? Should be up. Welcome to our 13th episode of ass or gas! Today we are reviewing the NEW kfc crispy chicken sandwich! Let's get into it! First let's talk about the presentation. The bun looks as soft as a baby's bun, and the spring back of a trampoline on a hot summer day! Smothered between these golden buns, we find the "chicken"... it looks somewhat crispy but a bit deflated says my colleague. Not a good sign...Next the first bite. *munch* To begin the first thing we noticed is a great contrast between the soft bun and crispy outside of the chicken crust. Once we start chewing we notice a lack of chicken, flavor and moisture. A dry sandwich indeed! Upon swallowing the final bite I've made my decision. This particular location has the absolute worst service I've ever experienced in my life. The employees will watch you walk-in and not even try to help you. I stood in there for at least 5 minutes without anyone asking me "Can I help you?" This is not the 1st time either. The location on Wesport ave sucks I mean like I can see that on the website it says that it's open till Midnight I can see the workers inside, the lights are on and they won't serve anyone! This is completely unacceptable, if your open at said time you should be open, this location also closes early which is also a load of crap! DO NOT GO TO THIS FAST FOOD PLACE!!! Visited the KFC on Richard's Avenue in Norwalk. Ordered a 4 piece meal which comes with a side and drink. I order an extra side and the big box. First, the four pieces were so small and over cooked. My daughters order was supposed to come with a side. When I checked the order, the extra side I ordered was not in the bag. When we alerted the drive thru cashier of the issue, a woman with an accent got belligerent and waving her finger at us, saying we were wrong, etc etc. she got UGLY. Even the workers inside were trying to help but she wasn't having it. SMH! I will never go to this place again. Now I see why the place is empty. Who would want to eat at a place like this!! Honestly I have been to a lot of KFC's and this location is the worst. I've given it multiple chances and they disappoint every time. They have the longest drive-thru line that takes 30 minutes and you can't drive away if you are stuck in line. I've also tried to order to-go and they told me they ran out of chicken and can't serve me. Popeyes is definitely the way to go. read more

Ok this one is hard for me to write. The staff are Always Sweet. The food taste great. My only issue is the cleanliness of the dining area. I know my rule for myself. If I walk into a fast food place and the floors are sticky and the glass entry door is filthy with smudges I walk the H E Double Hockey Sticks out. This Taco Bell had a special place in my heart. I broke my rule for almost a year now. However today was it. I have seen a downward turn in the last year at this location. It feels like lately as if the person(s) hired to clean only does it once per day. I have been here after 2 pm and before 6 pm many times. I cannot comment on the cleanliness before or after my time frame. What I would ask of management is to be honest. Why is this dinning area so dirty lately? What changed? Is this acceptable? Again staff amazing food great but after making noises while walking out due to stickiness at the bottom of my shoes I have to stay away until this gets fixed. read more

Revisited this location Cc after almost 6 months..only Location in Norwalk left after closing the Richards ave location. Experience was very disappointing like before. Did not see a SINGLE promo on the national donut chicken roll out! Ordered 5 Pc chicken combo with wedges n drinks which comes with a biscuit n choice sauce. Just picked up some chicken and it was horrible. My order was wrong as they didn't provide a soda with one meal and they put gravy on the mashed potatoes when I specified "no gravy". I understand the need to increase prices, but you don't raise prices and also decrease the size of the chicken pieces. You do one or the other, not both. And the chicken wasn't edible. This location is horrible when it comes to getting the orders correct. I work nearby and on occasion someone will take a ride there to get lunch. Almost every time they give us the wrong items or miss something from the order. Today they did both. We will not be back here anytime soon. read more

This KFC gets one star and that is for the delicious classic chicken and because this location is closest to me. After that it's all down hill. Woman behind the counter was completely disinterested and my wait was long even though I was the ONLY person there!! As I recall KFC is a "fast-food" establishment? The place is also dated and not particularly clean. I had to ask for the correct size for my soda lid. Super slow drive-thru for as long as I can remember. Be prepared to wait up to 20, or even 30 minutes for your order. It's happened to me more than a few times. This last time, they messed up my order, charging me more money for something else other than what I ordered. I didn't realize it until after I had paid and then was given my receipt a couple minutes later. I tried getting someone's attention, but I was ignored because literally everyone just disappeared, until finally the manager was just walking by the window a few minutes later. All I wanted to do was just let him know about the mistake so he could hopefully get the employees to actually pay attention to what their customers order. He insisted on "making it up to me" by giving me two extra tacos along with what I had originally orders, but I quickly realized that that wouldn't cover the few extra dollars that I was charged.
