Store closes at 11PM and out of chicken by 8 PM. Tenders and ketchup is all they could offer for the next 3 hours.

The restaurant is always short-staffed. Long line waiting and there was no one taking order. They ran out of food. I've been waiting for the order more than 25 mins. Literally the worst in the area. read more

Went here to order 3 chicken tenders the other day.", I was told it would be about the same as getting the meal. I didn't want any fries and I already had a drink, so I ordered the 3 tenders. It was more than the meal. It was almost $10 for 3 chicken tenders that were horrible. So now I'm at Caines in Newark, you know that shopping center where the other KFC went out of business. The chicken tenders are so good, and they are $1.81 each. That's half of what KFC is charging. Caines also has free refills, a great mix of music, and a staff that are smiling and having a good time. This is has nothing to do with the staff at KFC. Organizational culture and leadership start at the top. If they can't even get pricing right what makes anyone think they can create a work environment that makes their employees feel valued and enjoy working there. Figure it out KFC. read more

We were lucky to arrive here in afternoon of them making fresh pieces of chicken. I ordered a 3 piece and biscuits, and it was good. My girl only wanted a biscuit and potatoes lol. She does not eat KFC. But anyhow, we were happy with the service and comfort. I give them a 4. read more

This location is the worst. I sat in the drive thru at the speaker for 10 minutes. Someone finally took my order & never said anything else. I asked if I should pull up, she said I should come inside because there were 8 orders ahead of mine that have to be filled. I waited because I refused to go inside & wait there, I mean what's the difference?! Every time we come here there are issues.. missing food, a long wait or they are out of items. I don't know why I keep coming.. I guess because it's closest to my home read more

Too bad Yelp doesn't allow 0 stars. This place is a train wreck. I (and multiple other customers) stood at the register for 10 minutes - without acknowledgment. Then when we asked for service - we were met with attitude. 3 of 4 of us walked out. Plus the place was nasty dirty. Someone please open a Raising Canes near here and put this place out of its misery. read more

I think a single star is even too much for the KFC near the farmers market,I love KFC and always,ALWAYS this particular KFC either they run out of chicken or they are short staffed or any other excuse to make the customer experience a disappointing one.....they need to either open new locations with more employees or KFC will disappear for good from Delaware read more

I ordered 3 pieces white and one biscuit and I got home I didn't get my biscuit and then I called 3 times no answered finally when they answered then they are rude and hang up and my third piece it didn't look like I paid for three pieces this was around 3:50pm terrible it wasn't busy at all...they owe me for their bad services read more

Just left this place and the whole experience was horrible. There was no one at the counter and we waited for a good 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged us. Once we were able to order, we had to ask for multiple things like our drinks when we were given our food. The food wasn't even that good. When other came in to order their food, employees were engrossed in a conversation but no one acknowledged. Then when a customer asked if they work there, the employee got an attitude. read more

The best food combo: the Burger, but made even better with crushed potato chips under the meat and above the bottom bun, which is a crunch burger. Imagine this: Shiny, buttery, warm buns, a thick chunk of meat in the center, a large piece of lettuce, lays potato chips, and a taste like nothing. It is and will be the best food known to mankind. Why? Because of its taste, look, and smell! It combines the three most American foods known to man. It is the biggest known cause for diabetes in the U.S (according to me because of all the American in it. The only thing that would make it more american would be Buffalo Wings and pizza in it. The crunchburger's taste is unbearably good, and I know from personal experience. When I first had it, I was around 7 years old, and my eyes were opened to the wonder that is diabetes. Its taste is like heaven on earth, but better than that. It is incomparable with anything on this earth, or even in this galaxy. It is so good I almost died (also because of the amount of fat that was in it). It is sold at KFC and it's official name is the Zinger crunch burger. It is trademarked. When I rate these burgers, I go by taste, looks, smell, and price, and the crunch burger was good in almost all of them. It smelled very nice, it looked good, and it tasted like heaven on earth, but that didn't come with a small price (at least for fast food). It would be around $10 for that delicious beast of a crunch burger, but it is worth double that. Triple that. It would be worth any amount of money just to take a single bite of that thing that is heaven. If I could have another bite of that food, I would take it. If it were in California and I were in Germany, I would take a flight there and eat it. It is so good that anyone should be able to enjoy it. It is near where I live. Its address is 112 N Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720. It doesn't have the highest ratings, but that's fine. This place is home of the meat. read more

Food is always wrong either under cooker or over cooked ... never what you ask for. Service is rude and will curse at yiu. The place looks dirty and closed most of the time. Employees and managers don't care what you order if you're taking out or drive thru cause by time you realize everything is wrong it's too late. the manager dismisses it like it was your own fault! Went through drive thru and they forgot something in my order. The dining room is not currently open but they had 5 employees eating. I commence to knock on the dining room door and explain what happen. They literally pointed their fingers to the Drive thru without saying a word. Terrible service, absolutely the worst. I waited in line at the drive through, when I got up to the speaker, I was told I had to come inside because "I don't have an order taker". I went inside, and there were multiple employees milling about behind the counter, however, most were not doing any work. The man who took our order clearly couldn't wait to leave. Apparently, it was shift change, however, that is not an excuse for sub-par customer service. I paid in cash and was not provided a receipt, I ordered two meals that I was told would have an "upcharge", which I was fine with. A different women started to put our meal together; she asked what we ordered, and we told her. Her attitude was far from welcoming, and she verbally berated the customer behind us. Upon arriving home, I discovered we were not given the "3-piece white meat" meal I had paid an "upcharge" for; we were provided a 2-piece dark meat meal. I paid over thirty-one dollars ($31.00) for two meals, and for that exorbitant amount I had to suffer through rude, incompetent, and shiftless staff, along with not receiving meals anything close to what I had ordered and paid for. KFC corporate should be ashamed of the service/product this store is providing, as it tarnishes the entire brand. read more

I drove 12.4 miles to and from my house to get dinner tonight. When I got home I found we were missing the gravy for the mash potatoes, the biscuits, and the honey that I requested. I went back another 6.2 miles to the store to tell them that we were missing the items and that I thought they should start again with a complete order. I spoke with the MOD and she wanted to argue and called the owner (?). All I heard from that point was policy, policy, policy! So, I left. I am going to miss my KFC. Reflecting back on this, I am afraid this could be a case of discrimination . . . and I really hate to go there. KFC just isn't worth it anymore. read more

I'd give 0 stars if I could. Worst experience at the New Castle, DE location. I got double charged for my dinner, since the register screwed up. First time, it never went through on their end and the money pulled from my account. I explained that I wouldn't be sliding my card again since they already took my money, and the manager refused to give me my food until I slid it again. And, well, what do you know, it went through the second time and I got double charged. The staff was very rude for something that wasn't my fault. No empathy what so ever! read more

This location always has an issue and I'm just about done going here, I waited in the drive through line and repeated my order three times and the rude cashier taking my order couldn't hear me and told me I had to yell but the two cars in from of me didn't have to yell, after repeating my order several times i was told I couldn't go to the window so they could take my order they denied me service. I don't know if they had a problem with race or what but the staffing here is not customer service friendly and this isn't the first time I've had an issue with them read more

We rolled up to a women in the intercom with a whole attitude. Later found out her name is who starts with a g she was making faces as customers were placing orders snapping her fingers and being all sorts of rude to her co workers. The taste is good, just my friend ordered the extra chrisp, they gave him the original one.

This location is extremely lacking in customer service. Was at the drive thur and the guy at the window literally ignored me after giving me my food; so much I reached to open the window back so that he could hear and acknowledge me. It started at the speaker when I was ordering where I asked a question about if they had a meal that consisted of wings and instead of the guy answering me he just states so you want a wing and a thigh? Very poor customer service and rudeness which I am sure is not a part of the KFC brand standards. It's no wonder that this location has 1.5 stars! I would NEVER have experienced this at Chick-Fil-A and why I will make sure to NOT come back here anymore! read more

Terrible service. Rushed my brother while he was ordering when the place was EMPTY. They also messed up my order.

This KFC is part of the Airport Plaza strip mall but it is in a lot of its own. I didn't have a problem parking here but all the times I've passed by here, I've never noticed the restaurant to be extraordinarily busy. The restaurant seemed to be fairly decent in upkeep. The dining area and restroom were clean. The exception is the soda dispenser, which wasn't working quite right. The soda wasn't properly mixed. It came out in two streams of soda and one stream of syrup, which looked very odd. The service was okay. They were a little confused while taking and preparing my order, but at least they were nice about it. read more

today is 4/16/21. I was at this kfc at about an hour ago and had the most horrible experience. I paid for 4 orders of the chicken sandwich meal totaling $34. The first error was they forgot my soda, which I caught and even laughed as told the women at the window, I hope she didnt forget my sandwich she said I was good. When i got home and searched the bag I saw that 2 of the 4 sandwiches that I ordered was missing. I called and spoke to the manager who's name is Trina. At first, she said she would credit me, but then got impatient as I asked more questions and hung up on me. This place has gone down hill rapidly. Visited on a Tuesday evening around 6:40pm - via the drive through. There was a car ahead of me but they drove away fast after getting no service. I tried and that's when lights started going out even though the hours are posted they are open until 8pm. The only visible employee was still at the drive through window but playing on her phone and refused to look up or make eye contact when we pulled to ask why they were closing so early. Worst fast food restaurant in Delaware. They serve only one good item - the chicken pot pie. Problem is, if there is more than one person in front of you, you could wait 20 to 30 minutes to get your order. Last night I was one of four cars that pulled out of line because the wait was so long. And there was only one person at the drive thru window. Also the buckets of chicken are priced ridiculously high. You can buy buckets of fresh delicious chicken that are neither too greasy nor too dry from Acme for half the cost. Shame on KFC for keeping this establishment open. BTW - it is filthy. read more

The worst! My chicken was under-cooked and I got sick from it. I _DO NOT_ recommend going there to eat.

I have been here 3 or 4 times, and none of those times did they get my order correct. They always forget something from the order - the last time they forgot half the order and entered my sides wrong on the register... then, they expected me to pay for the side they 'forgot' when I had explicitly stated during ordering that the one side was an extra and not part of the meal I had ordered so I should have gotten the default potato wedges. Stear clear of this restaurant. The manager has an attitude problem as well as do the cashiers. I'm sorry, but forgetting half my six-year-old niece's meal, half of my meal, half the extra orders of biscuits, plus the silverware and condiments I had asked for (butter for biscuits, sauce for my popcorn chicken) is inexcusable. They also charge beyond one condiment. I will go elsewhere. There is a reason why this KFC has so many bad reviews and only one semi-good review. This is the worst KFC restaurant I have ever been in - go to the one in Stanton. If I go here again, and it happens again, I will call corporate. read more
