Well stocked with a delightful presentation. We purchased a red velvet cake (my wife's favorite) and peanut butter cookies. The cake was moist and full of flavor. The cookies were soft and flavorful. We purchased the same seasonings they use to cook the chicken in the store. Well priced and convenient. Side note: the owners have a link to purchase via Amazon. Show them some love. Gloria and Will were respectful and patient as I figured out what my aunt decided her order over the phone ( I hate not knowing g my order while at the register, love you, Aunty). Now, the food, I wish I had taken a picture. My wife had perch and wings; I had wings; my aunt had wings, too. Not only was the fish light and crispy, but it didn't taste like the chicken at all. You can tell they didn't take any shortcuts in using the same grease. The wings were sooooo good, fried just right. I'm a hot-and-mild person, so the proportions of both were spot on. This was by far my best experience. I've been to Harold's all over Chicago and Atlanta. Thank you to those running this place for the experience. Third time, I was actually able to place an order and pay, but after about 5 minutes of sitting there waiting for my order, I was told that they were out of chicken breasts and did I want to substitute something else like dark meat or fish. I did not and asked for a refund only to be told that nobody there had the code to do a refund and the owner would refund my order at a later time. When I commented that this was the third time I was unable to get food the lady told me that I could get food, just not the food that I wanted. So rude and unprofessional. I went in the next day to talk the owner and he showed me that the order had been refunded and offered to give me a half white the next time I came in. So today I go to the store at 5 o'clock PM and the door is locked, no sign on the door, no people in sight. I have never had to work this hard to get a restaurant to take my money. I would prefer to support a local business rather than go to a big chain restaurant. The owners seem like really nice people (only reason I was willing to try a fourth time), but this kind of service is just unacceptable.

It was easy and user friendly. What's neat is you are given an approximate delivery time and literally are updated by text (if you wish) or you can check your order's progress via the website. A lady named Edith prepared my order and notified me when the driver, Ahmad, was ready to make the delivery. I was notified the minute he left and arrived. Needless to say, I greeted him with a huge, hungry smile. He was so pleasant, friendly, and professional. He seemed to enjoy his job and most of all, I had my food in 13 minutes! Now for the best part. The food was delicious! The salad was fresh and delicious and the cheesy bread was superb! It looked like the commercial! It was filling as I could only eat one piece. Tonight I ordered around 715 pm. I got there around 745 pm and my order wasn't ready. The employee asked me to wait 15 more minutes as they were busy. Ok no problem. I came back in 20 minutes, no one at the counter working so I had to wait another 10-15 minutes until another employee was checking orders and I asked him for mine. I drive all the way home, only to find 2 of my pizzas were incorrect. I called and spoke to the Manager Megan. She said she could remake them and have them ready in 20 minutes. I asked if they could be delivered, my kids were starving by this time. She got smart with me stating that she could not make my order a priority due to their mistake.....I would have to bring the pizza back or take a credit. I asked for a refund and I could bring the pizza back. That's when she got disrespectful and I had to end the conversation.
