Our table's orders included: *) the trashcan nachos (superb!) *) the club sandwich (tasty, toothsome, and better than expected) *) the Cuban sandwich (gloriously drippy and delightful) *) the bacon and blue burger (topped with a fried egg and bacon jam!) *) the wedge salad (nice and crunchy and fresh, although the tomato jam was a tad sweet for me) ... and an off menu shrimp cocktail that was weirdly excellent. The plump, good sized shrimp arrived warm and spicy without cocktail sauce or mayo. Not standard, but very tasty! We will definitely be back.

I was immediately greeted by a young hostess who was happy to find me a table, but I said I'd find a spot at the bar. I was immediately greeted by Sophia who handed me a beer list and was happy to pour a sample. That's nice service to start out with. She checked in but was never overbearing. A+. Their unique 60/40 beef/bacon burgers caught my eye...mine had cheese sauce, tons of bacon, and bacon jam. You can only have these cooked medium well or well done; for a burger I feel that's acceptable. Sandwich components were all delightful...the beer battered fries have a nice smooth coating and the house made ranch was the thinner variety was a great complement too. I'll kip the pretzel bun next time; I didn't find it to be a great complement to the components on the burger. I felt too many taps had crappy mass-produced domestics for the squares out there. I highly recommend the Mason City Cream Ale. Wish they sold their glasses! Credit cards have a 2.99% service fee. Thankfully, debit cards have no fee...which is the law. It's very similar to the flavor of a jalapeño popper (without the bacon, cream cheese, or the heat). They have a modest sized parking lot that is a one-way. We sat at the bar and both had sandwiches. I ordered a burger but subbed out the beef patty for a chicken breast. The chicken breast was seasoned and juicy, but it actually made the American cheese on my sandwich a little too slippery. Better than the alternative, though! I would eat here again, but I might try something different next time. The menu wasn't super large, but they had enough apps, sandwiches, and burgers to choose from.

Been here a handful of times and this is not the place it was when it opened. It's really turned into a shit hole. Bathrooms were disgusting. Service is super slow and was a previous visit also, but gave it the benefit of the doubt as kids wanted to go there. It's clear from the manager to the owner to the franchise - they do not care about the Mason City location.....don't send me a courtesy reply....we won't be back.

For a midday Wednesday, in Mason City, we were the only customers. While this was the case, the restaurant itself had music set at a decent conversational level, the restaurant was clean and prepped for any rush of service, and it didn't feel as if the server was avoiding our table or checking in too frequently. The food came out looking professional, and was delicious! I personally love how there were five levels of heat provided for those looking for spicer meals. The location is definitely odd: it's in the food court of a semi-deserted shopping mall at the south end of downtown Mason City, so you either eat at one of the tables there or take the food home. But the menu is extensive enough to offer something for everyone, and the people who run the place work very hard to deliver a quality meal. Mason City is lucky to have a spot like this for authentic Asian food. I hope the business is successful enough that they can move to a less strange venue -- it did seem pretty busy the afternoon I was there, so apparently the locals have begun to appreciate what they've got.
