Biscuits put ins the same bucket as our Nashville Hot chicken.

Food is decent. Service is terrible. We were shorted on chicken and then our biscuits were placed in the same container as the Nashville Hot chicken so they soaked up all the seasoning. Gross.

This KFC is a lot closer to us than Altoona. The staff is always nice, the chicken good, always fresh tasting.

So we went out of our way to visit Mount Union to get some Bricktown Kickn' Chicken takeout. We had to try their huge chicken pies, and we also got some fresh fried chicken and potato wedges. I'm a big pot pie fan, and this one did not disappoint! It fed three of us and we still had half as leftovers! We got out pot pie frozen, so if you do so, give it plenty of time to thaw in advance, then bake it as instructed. It is so thick, you'll need a good thermometer to make sure it cooked all the way through. But the seasoning was great, and the crust is so hearty on top and bottom! The fried chicken was so fresh with really good seasoning. So much better than what you get at the chain restaurants! We had to park around the block, but they also have takeout window so you can just pull up to pick up your order. Also, there is no dining in, just take out. Give this place a try if you're in Mount Union. Or do what I did and go out of your way to visit and pick up some fantastic homemade comfort food while supporting a small business! It's worth it!

Oh well, we ordered the 12 pc and large fries. Chicken was average, I've had better and I've had worse. But the Fries were disgusting, they were soggy just barely warm and disgusting! When they brought them out front and put them in a warmer while we waited for our chicken to cook maybe 3-4 minutes after we placed our order. No ketchup, no napkins, no salt or pepper no nothing in the bag. What a way to run a take out business! Next time I'm passing thru the area I know where I won't be stopping at!

Cons- not crazy about the coleslaw. I think the canes sauce is slightly overrated...I know the canes sauce is what they are known for, but Raising Canes would go INSANE with a sauce variety with how high quality the chicken is.

If you haven't been before, the vibe at Raising Cains is fun - think disco balls and Elvis art with a crown on top. The counter folks were all friendly, and I wasn't expecting that they would deliver food to our table, but they did. The food at Raising Cains was good, but didn't live up to all the hype for me. No complaints about the food, it was good. But my expectations were fairly high after hearing lots of folks talk about it. The chicken was crispy and not greasy as fried food can be. The fries were good -not soggy and not overcooked. I'm still assessing my thoughts about the sauce. I didn't feel like I was overwhelmed by the taste, but I did keep going back to it and dipping my fries and chicken in it until it was all gone. So maybe I liked it more than I realized? I'd give it a solid 3.5 stars. This was a 35 minute drive for me, so I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to do this again because of the distance. But we had a good meal here and a pleasant experience.

If the university is closed, more than likely this location will also be closed, so you should check before choosing to dine here. Parking on campus is restricted until 5PM, but there are a limited amount of metered spots across the street (25 cents equals 25 minutes). While this location is on a college campus, it is still very well run like other Chick-fil-A's. Differences include having Pepsi due to the campuses contract, serving a more limited menu and everything is in to go bags. All registers were fully manned during my visit due to the crowd, and service was so fast I had not finished paying by the time my food arrived. This location only takes Visa and MasterCard. There is more than adequate seating in the common area shared with the QDOBA Mexican Eats. I found my Nuggets to be fried just a little harder than at a standard location, but they were still good, and plenty of Chick-fil-A sauce was available. Chick-fil-A is possibly the best thing to arrive at Bloomsburg University in some time and I'm glad after the protests of 2012 that they are finally open. This might end up being a resource that actually attracts members of the community and alumni to the campus.
