They have a two for one deal now on DoorDash for their three piece meals. It comes with a fountain drink and two sides. I ordered the three piece extra crispy breast and wings deal, got the green beans and mashed potatoes for sides. The chicken is just okay. They deep fry with the skin on and it was crispy but for me it's just too fatty. You can chew forever and may still have a hard time swallowing. I don't know what happened with KFC but I don't remember the chicken always being this way. The chicken is juicy once you get past the skin. I did like the chicken. The sides were very good. Two for one is an exception value for those looking for a bargain. The quality of the food is good but not exceptional. Moderately recommended. read more

Japanese Kentucky Fried Chicken Our new DIL explained the Christmas experience in Japan: Japanese Christmas tradition involves eating KFC, a practice started in the 1970s by a KFC manager who capitalized on foreigners missing turkey, leading to the famous "Kentucky for Christmas!" campaign (Kurisumasu ni wa Kentakkii) that became a widespread cultural phenomenon, with families ordering special Christmas buckets and meals requiring advance booking. We added to our knowledge by exploring several Japanese You tube films. Armed with this knowledge, I phoned the Kettering location to reserve a Japanese Christmas Bucket -- Huge cultural lapse - the KFC folks were confused -- seems there is a marketing event to be explored in US.... At any rate, I appeared in the store and reviewed all chicken pieces prior to accepting. Kroger supplement all other items. Caveat: never accept KFC wings or any wings - wings were for soup in my mother's kitchen.... We have a NEW family tradition, and a new DIL. Our experience: Seems the negative reviews are unwarranted. Today, very busy, and our order was correct and delicious. Yes, highly recommend this location, and we are enjoying our new Japanese Tradition. read more

KFC - Chicken Wings Near Me - Kettering, Ohio

Worst meal ever at a KFC. We stopped in for an early dinner and ordered a 2 piece meal and a 3 piece meal. The chicken was much darker than usual and much greasier. It was almost like it was cooked or reheated for a second time. The biscuits were dried out and obviously not fresh. We took a piece home and there was so much grease it soaked through the box. The floor was do dirty it was sticky. The trays obviously hasn't been well cleaned in quite a while. We will definitely not go back unless there is a management change. It's obvious the manager has no concern about quality or cleanliness. I have no idea how the corporation can condone an operation like this one. I called the manager and he did offer to comp us a meal but we had no desire to take him up on the offer. read more

Well I am back again and for the last time about KFC. Told them about the overdone chicken and was told they couldn't do anything. So, and only because my neighbor wanted it, 2 more bucket specials, 8 pieces legs and thighs were ordered only to get home and find out there's only 7 pieces! And the guy I spoke to was the one that prepared it!!! Hmm, think that was done on purpose?? Again I called and spoke with Maleia who was VERY nice. I'm supposed to go pick up my missing pieces, nope, not in this life. May be poisoned this time. Hope my neighbor will understand but no more KFC. read more

Worst kfc ever. I have been there three times and every time I order a meal with potato wedges I never my potato wedges that I payed for..

I've lived by this location for over a decade now and I believe they've gotten my order correct a handful of times over the years. I've had everything from extremely long waits for food, completely incorrect orders, missing/incorrect sides, and even corn mixed into mashed potatoes. If you really need KFC, don't choose this location. read more

Don't listen to "Larry M." His Yelp account should be suspended based off his garbage review of this KFC, where I have had an absolutely delightful experience. This KFC location is nothing short of life-affirming. I met my wife at this KFC. My first son was conceived in the bathroom of this KFC. I would be a miserable wreck of a man without this KFC. 5 stars. read more

I come here at least once a week. The staff is always kind and always helpful. We had a wait for our chicken (no big deal was like a 5 minute wait) and they gave us a free side. They are always nice whenever i go in. They keep the dining room as clean as possible unless they are clearly super busy. super attentive to make sure they get our order right and if on the rare occasion they don't get it right they always get it right as nicely and as fast as possible. basically this kfc rocks ! read more
