Late night activities! Food was ok. The people were super nice! The chicken was cooked good and still juicy. You do pay for extra for sauces. The facility was clean and quiet. They had the game on, but we took it to go and food was still good. The chicken sandwich was huge regardless. I would beee to come a second time, to try it. read more

This used to be my favorite chicken sandwich place. No longer. They shrank the chicken filet, the bun was stale, and the fries were soggy.

Service was outstanding. Product was mediocre at best. Come on Shaq!!!!!! I expected this place to threaten Raising Canes - but it made me wish I had passed. Fingers were lacking flavor, bread was, just bread, best thing in the box was the fries. I might return and try a sandwich, but I'd have to be really hungry. Just my opinion, but I wish Shaq the best because he is a great guy. read more

WHAT HAPPENED? This place was the best. We loved this place. It was one of our favorites. Until now. We went there today and we wanted the sweet potato waffle fries but they are no longer on the menu. WHY ? Then we both got the Shaq attack chicken sandwich . There were no jalapeños on it anymore. You took them off .WHY ? The chicken on the sandwich was a quarter inch thick and dry as a bone. My wife says she won't go back. What a disappointment. This is why places go under. They start cutting costs and people notice. Come on Shaq, you started out great. Don't go out like this. DO BETTER!!! read more

It's your standard fast food. Fried and very salty. Standard seating, highly lit & very loud. Music plays in the background. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They were on top of keeping everything clean. I didn't like the quality of the food. The quality of the chicken was kind of rubbery. The sauces were all on the spicy side. The fries and the waffle sweet potato fries were fried hard and thin as well as the fried onions on the chicken sandwich. When they are that thin it's hard for them to retain heat, therefore they were cold. They were so salty. The Mac and cheese wasn't anything special, but they do have a cheese it crumble topping that is unique. We have not tried the ice cream and shake treats but they looked really good. Unfortunately, I will not be dining there again to find out. It was something to try. read more

Food- always on point, fresh and quick even when busy and flavorful. Service-with a smile, friendly and happy to help. I have only had one issue here, handed the wrong fries one time, and they were fixed quickly and without any attitude, get that much any more. Todays to-go was awesome as I tried the regular with a chipotle sauce or something on it.. and now I'll need to go back sooner than later because I can't stop thinking about it! read more

First time eating at Big Chicken was pleasantly surprised when Ava helped me maneuver around my gluten intolerance to have a nice grilled chicken salad with shredded cheese! (Skipped dressings). Perfect lunch! She was so helpful! I fully expected to not find anything and have to go elsewhere. They grilled the chicken upon order too...nice and juicey, flavorful and fresh! read more

YES YES & YES!!! 2nd time here & once again the service was great, chicken tenders were hot and fresh and a basketball game from the 90's showing is always a vibe. I'm pissed Cincinnati doesn't have a location! Such a far drive! read more

Big Chicken - Buffalo Hot Sauce Chicken Tenders & Fries! - Chicken Shop Near Me - Miamisburg, Ohio

My stepdaughter's car got towed while she was on campus, so we had to make a trip and fork over $200 bucks to get it out. So not the best start to my weekend, but I figured since we were out of town, we might as well get some good grub. I was pleased to see that Big Chicken was nearby. I missed trying them in Vegas, so this was a perfect option for lunch. The customer service was top-notch. The cashier was very informative and friendly. We told her it was our first time, so she broke down the menu for us. I was immediately sidetracked by the huge cookies they had at the front desk. However, I skipped them this time because I had just had Crumbl. I ordered the Big Aristotle sandwich meal. I was shocked when I saw that they featured the Stubborn Soda brand, so I was excited to grab a cup full of Agave Vanilla Cream Soda. The food came out too soon, I was knee-deep in a game of NBA Jam. As I scored my final points with Isiah Thomas, I decided to forfeit my game for my food. The sandwich was huge, hot, and crispy. The fries reminded me of Red Robin fries, but they were thinly sliced. The sauce bar was very cool because I am definitely a dipper. The Shaq Sauce and the Carolina mustard were my favorites. My wife truly enjoyed her meal, so we will be making a trip back and I will make sure to purchase one of those colossal cookies. Big Aristotle Sandwich add bacon 1-5=4.5. Fries 1-5=4.5. Sauces 1-5=5! Overall a great restaurant. You order at the counter and they give you a pager until your food is ready. Next to the drink station they have a self serve sauce station which is convenient. I would say that it is a little on the expensice side, but the portions are huge. Me and my boyfriend split a meal and still could not finish it. I feel it would be better if portions were smaller and prices were cheaper. We got the Crispy chicken grilled cheese sandwhich and it was amazing! The chicken is lightly breaded therefore you get more chicken than breading. The peanut butter shake was AMAZING and I highly recommend. If you're in the area it is a must try! read more

I've been to this restaurant twice and the second time was a little disappointing. The first time I remember the chicken being thick, well breaded, and crispy. This time the chicken was thin and reminded me of the chicken sandwiches they use to give in cafeterias. Definitely seems like they are using less quality meat. The cashier was nice and answered all our question. It took a bit longer than we expected to get our food. Overall it wasn't bad by any means but not something I'd go back for. read more

My bf spotted this place and knew it was Shaq's chain so we decided to stop and check it out. He got the tenders and I got the 2 sliders set. The chicken is crisp and juicy. The flavor is good, could use more seasoning personally, but with the sauce it's perfect. I'm not a fan of the fries, they're cut long and thin kind of like chips. I like my fries crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, these are a bit too thin to have that soft inside. But my bf liked them, they are unique. I got the peach sweet tea which was really good, not overly sweet. I tried the strawberry lemonade as well, wasn't as impressed, not sour enough for me. Overall I would definitely eat here again, wish there were more locations. read more

Been wanting to try this place. None in my home town. What a big disappointment. I read his story on wall and if this is the food his mother served, then I feel sorry for him. He has had to try chick filet or Popeyes. How does he think this chicken stacks up. My sandwich had 1/4" thick chicken patty. And not much Dry Mac and cheese or fried onions. The crinkle fries were annoying because they were all little pieces. The sauce bar didn't have chicken sauce. Pumped it many times. The young man at counter was pleasant. I can't believe shaq puts his name on this product. Very sad. read more

Big Chicken - Sad thin chicken patty. Small layer of mac and cheese and almost none existent onions. - Chicken Shop Near Me - Miamisburg, Ohio

Went on opening day. The chicken was tasty and tasted as expected for a chicken sandwich. The only downside was, everything was very salty. However, we powered through the salt. The milkshakes were the best! Very creamy and we appreciated the real ice cream. We were visiting Dayton. If I lived there, I wouldn't drive out of my way to get it. Nice concept but an ordinary overpriced chicken sandwich. read more

The chicken was average at best. The tenders were small and kind of dry. The sides were pretty good. The macaroni and cheese was great.

This place is always so clean! I love it! The bathrooms are impeccable and smell like bleach. Amazing. The counter workers are always very friendly and helpful. The food is great! I have eaten here multiple times now and everything have been very good. I love the sauce station. This time I was here they had peach sweet tea. It was amazing! The only other option though was unsweetened. I was hoping for lemonade. It's a great place. Try it!! read more

This was definitely 5star chicken!! The flavor on everything was amazing!! The grilled cheese chicken sandwich was next level!! I mean seriously great, it was toasted perfectly, with the cheese melted just the right amount of melt! Just great!! The chicken tenders had the perfect crisp along with flavor. My kiddos shared a shake & that was even amazing! I should have got two!!! I can't wait to run across another one! read more

Grilled chicken grilled cheese and mac n cheese as awesome! I get 2 meals from the grilled cheese

We wanted to wait until this amazing chicken place was around for a bit prior to trying. Letting them work out all issues were we can give a real review on the food and staff 10/10 on the food, price, and staff. But I have to give a 1/10 on parking. They are located in an outdoor shopping center that is pretty busy at all times. In all fairness I didn't go on a Saturday and parking was crazy Anyways why we are all here the food the portions was huge the menu is limited amd after ordering I did see where they offered grilled chicken inplace of the fried. It's small under the top of the menu. We ordered what was recommended amd it did not disappoint. 3 piece chicken tender with fries. I can't even start to explain the fries think steak fries but super thin and crispy they were delicious. The chicken tenders are tender like the other chicken place closed on Sunday's lol. The breading is super light and it's not over crunchy for those worries about breaking a tooth . They have several different sauces to pick from I did get the hot Chipotle BBQ nice flavor, not over spicy or smokey complimented the chicken well. They do offer fountain drinks and a few homemade lemonade options but I am a sucker for a cold diet Dr pepper fountain drink. For desert I got the banana pudding ice cream sandwich yes that is right its made into a sandwich creamy banana flavored ice cream tucked in 2 sugar cookies yummm. Chocolate shake that tasted like a frosty from wendys married a Jamaco shake from Arbys.. You do prior to sitting it's a young staff but seemed to know the menu and was quick The dining area was pretty large with high and low top tables 2 single stall restrooms and 2 entrances one in the front of the restaurant and one in the back. Overall this is probably new spot for chicken tenders and fries. But I cannot wait to try the grilled chicken read more

There's a big sign outside the restaurant now: New LOW cost. I don't remember what it used to cost to get a combo here, but it was $17+ for a 5 piece strips and fries combo, and $16+ for a Shaq sandwich combo (not including tip, which of course they ask for). IIf thats cheaper than their old prices, no wonder they are hurting. And they are hurting indeed. The restaurant was empty at 7pm on a Sunday night. Five Guys next door, a place with similarly unjust prices, was packed. Gone are the thinly sliced steak fries and giant containers of popcorn chicken. Now Big Shaq serves boring crinkle fries and chicken "Dunks" in small cups containing less than half of the chicken you used to get. The chicken is bland, and the fries are made from low quality potatoes. If I am going to spend $15-ish on a chicken meal, Huey MacGoos seems to be the best choice. Consistent flavor, good portions, incredible chicken quality, plus a slice of toast and cole slaw. No such accoutrements at Shaq's. I don't expect this restaurant to last much longer. read more

The food was yum and well seasoned. The staff was helpful and efficient. The place is clean and well put together. They were out of sweet tea which is probably good for my health. The portions are large. A good environment to have a quick lunch. Ps the root beer is really good. read more

Big chicken was such a disappointment. The staff was friendly, but the food was tasteless. The ordered the Chicago. It had so many elements to the sandwich, but I really didn't taste anything. I also made the sandwich a combo meal. The fries were ok, but very thin. I never had thin steak fries. I feel this restaurant is overpriced for what is being offered. read more

Of course I had to check it out as I wanted to let the hype settle down. The service was amazing - just to start. The guy was super helpful in his suggestions and had a great energy. The food was good, the chicken sandwiches are topped with a buncha stuff so it will definitely have too full. The fries were surprisingly really good - first glance they look bland but are actually pretty tasty. I do love the Shaq feel and the NBA Live arcade game in the corner! I will go back, not go out of my way but I want to try the desserts and the milkshakes. read more

An ok burger place in Miamisburg but be mindful, it's pricey. The chicken was fried ok. The bun was the best thing in the burger and it lacked anything apart from that. The slaw was there just for the sake of it. I did not feel any spiciness from their spiciest burger. The sauces helped a bit. The staff were friendly and polite. read more

Hubby & I tried this place for the first time. It was crowded & we waited in line to order for about 7-8 minutes. Hubby had a plain chicken sandwich with fries while I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with blue cheese & it also came with fries. We both liked our sandwiches but the fries were too salty & not that good. I'd order the sweet potato fries next time. I got a strawberry lemonade which was overly tart. I ended up discarding it & getting a Diet Pepsi instead which was fine. Would I return? Maybe... read more

Editing this two years later to say I tried it again. Tender size seemed more normal than I recalled. They change how they do the fries and now they were crinkle cut and mediocre. Sauces were good. I did not ask about cost this time as my husband picked it up for me. He just remarked that it is expensive. Not bad food, but not anticipating going back soon partially because I do not eat chicken tenders very often. read more

The food was overpriced and not very good. The store was filthy! Dirty floors, broken tea dispensers, sticky tables and more ants than I could count. Big chicken is a little more up scale then other chicken places, but I think the extra cost is worth it. When we were there the chicken patties looked like they were being made to order. The breading on the chicken breast was crunchy with nice seasoning, not salty. 10 or so signature sandwiches. I got the big Aristotle. I liked the waffle fries, wish the order size was a little larger. I tried all their sauces, I like the Ranch the best, I might have done a ranch shot it was so good. The Shaq sauce and sweet/smokey Memphis bbq were tasty too. I was disappointed with the Carolina honey mustard, no kick, seem too generic for a place called big chicken. Also fun is they had "stubborn" root beer and cream soda, a brand I have never tried before and differently worth drinking a cup or three. Richelle got the pop corn chicken and Mac-n-cheese. She said the cheeze-its on top make it awesome, ironically cheese-its were invented in Dayton, OH. read more

Gotta blow the whistle on this one definitely a FOUL. Staff good, service good, but the FOOD is like Shaq at the free throw line, it just ain't hitting. The sauces the recipe, the taste, it just isn't there. Pricey! why do I have to buy a $9 burger then pay $4.49 for fries and drink added price for exchanging it to a shake. It's just to much makes no sense, this place and five guys are the worst offenders (and they are right next door to each other) fives guys'd burgers and fries make up for it though. Big chicken was a BIG disappointment. Shaq you got to do better. Fries were hot trash, Lucille's mac and cheese was the worse mac I've had, the only cheese flavor I got was from the ritz crackers on top. Dark meat tasted funky.
