As you can see I have not been here for awhile. The place looked newly designed and clean. Received an email to get three sides for $10 but had to go through the app. The man did not know how to work it so the drive up employee, Danesha, stepped right over and helped with a friendly smile. She was so nice and friendly. She was called to the drive up and I said, I want to finish my order with her. The man was not happy and said so (stating he didn't want to do drive up) I replied, well, if you knew how to figure out this app order then I would have used you. I waited on and off to complete my order and Danesha was still joyful and polite. I ordered original chicken but I think I got crispy. It was definitely COOKED and the chicken wings was so small there was not even a bite to it. The three large sides were VERY GOOD. Mashed, mac, and coleslaw. The biscuits were okay but a little dry and falling apart. Not soft. I had this craving for KFC but would I go back, not sure or maybe when I get another craving. So service by Danesha 5 stars. I go here often as I work near it. Place is pretty clean and the staff has always been nice and attentive. The food is always hot and seems pretty fresh. They haven't done me wrong yet. What I have trouble understanding is the kiosk you order at is there. There is also a register. I notice when someone goes to the counter, the employees come out to take their order for them on the kiosk. If someone knows why pls let me know. Other than that, I'll always be back. read more

Was told 3 minute wait after 20 minutes knocked on every door then finally going to the drive through window and knocking while the lady is standing on the other side a good three separate times I finally get my food being told I'm sorry for forgetting. Friendly cashier woman at the register when I went here my first time (and last) today at this location. Very clean restaurant inside. However: All my biscuits and french fries I ordered were served hard as rocks. The chicken strips were not freshly made and was also "stiff" from being under the lamp uneaten for a while perhaps cooked hours beforehand. We've gone here 3 times now and the food is either always wrong or something is missing. If you come here you're living life on the edge because they're gonna give you whatever the hell they want regardless of what you ordered. Do you want an extra crispy chicken sandwich? Stop being a puss you're getting a spicy one. You want French fries? Cry about it. You ordered mashed potatoes? Eat it with your hands, you animal. Any condiments? Stop being a child and eat it dry. Typical KFC food but this location gets a boost from their exceptionally clean dining room and restrooms! It's not much to look at from outside, but the employees are helpful and friendly and it's nice to eat in a clean location. read more

Wife & I were in a hurry & stopped by KFC drive thru for #6 & #16, Nov 15, 2020 @ 1230hrs. The lady at window was very courteous and polite. She seem to be a plus to the KFC team. She had are order ready within a minute. Our meal was everything that is advertised from KFC Corp. Reason for four (4) stars, we only observe the inside the restaurant. We were highly disappointed with our service on 8/14/2022 we had ordered our food and once we received it we had lots of our food missing and when I went into the restaurant the one lady that was there yelled that they weren't dropping any more food if someone else asked for something. All my orders were meals and I was missing 3 sides and an order of biscuits and my husband chicken in his sandwich wasn't cooked all the way. The staff was friendly, place was clean, they got our order right. However I wasn't a fan of the bbq chicken strips I felt like it was bland and all I could taste was the gritty texture from the spices. It was also super greasy tasting. Other than that everything was good. read more

The black skinny female that worked 11/10/21 around 8:00 PM was the rudest person I've ever dealt with in my life. She didn't say hello. Didn't say anything actually. Yanked my card out of my hand. Gave me an attitude. Basically threw my bag of food at me and when I said thank you she slammed the door closed. 0/10 stars. This was my second time dealing with her and I will not be coming back to this location. If your only commodity is to make chicken and you dont have chicken made when your customers show up then you have definitely failed. I asked for grilled chicken they were out and it was going to be an additional 10 mins if I wanted it. I said nevermind give it to me in original, they said hold on....we only have 4 pieces left itll be another 5 mins for the original. This is at 5:30 pm dinnertime your busiest time of the day. The food was really good! We ordered the 30 dollar fill up with frys for sides and believe me they were amazing. This man that was working there, his name was Ralph, was a super nice man who helped us with everything we needed. We went up several times to get more sauce or whatever and he happily complied with what we asked for with a smile under his mask! He was a very nice man with great customer service skills! I feel like everytime I give them one more chance the visit ends up being worse than before. I asked if they could dip the Original recipe in the Honey BBQ sauce and they said yes. I got charged extra which was fine but got home and the chicken was Crispy recipe and only one side of each piece had sauce on it. When I called back I felt like the manager could have been a little more professional in her tone. She said they don't dip the original recipe in the sauce. I would have ordered something else if they just would have told me that! On my previous visit I ordered honey bbq tenders and got Nashville hot and when I went back with my order they replaced my chicken and took my Cole slaw out of the bag and gave me fries so I turned right back around and had to go back again. Came to pick up dinner for a group. Order a 8 piece dinner. They are out of original in white meat but have it in extra crispy. Tell them ok, I will take that. Come back and say sorry we have no white meat but if you come back in 15 minutes we will have it for you. Come back and they still have no chicken. Seriously, you have one job. Cook chicken. I ordered large family meals to be carried out and waited almost an hour while the workers complained that I should have phoned ahead....wth?! Turns out they left sides and the cake off which I discovered at home across town. I called but nobody ever picked up so when I tried again next day I was simply told to stop by and pick up, no apologies, nothing. I had husband stop by and they gave him the run around like he was lying so he just left and was mad at me for their rudeness. Sounds crazy but this kind of thing is run of the mill for this place. I used to try them once a year because I grew up on KFC but this time I learned my lesson and won't waste my time or $ on this store in Jacksonville NC. The other store N Marine Blvd is also owned by same company and has same issues so AVOID.
