As we pulled off the highway there was a sketchily looking BBQ place with a hand lettered sign. So we decided KFC would be a better choice. WRONG. I should've checked Yelp. The place was relatively clean but place needed repair. See the picture. But the food was just bad. We arrived hungry and you can see how much food we left. Of the 2 tenders in my kids meal only 1 was edible. Even the mashed potatoes were not good. Service was ok. Less than enthusiastic but I don't expect a lot from adults working at fast food. The food is never done when you arrive and order in drive-thru. They park you for 30 minutes or longer. The employees also STEALS any extra food you pay for. Countless times I've ordered extra biscuits and it was on my receipt as paid. It was not in the bag. The $13 four piece tender meal was missing the fries today. I am tired of them stealing my food. I be splitting my order with neighbors even though the payment comes out my pocketbook. ATOP STEALING OUR FOOD. And then they won't answer phone when called back to say what they done. These people are rude, ghetto, and lazy. They are always out of food. The drive-thru girl refused to come to the window. The cook was flat out talking about me just because I came in to get my disabled friend's order corrected. He was cussing and calling me names. Manager said that wasn't enough to fire him. My friend's order was completely wrong, and I was very polite when I went in to get it corrected, but nooo. The cook was just flat nasty. I cancelled my own order because we had already waited 30+ minutes for her order, and then they tell me they are out of chicken because their manager didn't order chicken, which he said was a complete lie. Called corporate and they claimed they had received not complaints. Haven't been back. If zero stars was an option, I'd click that. First off, driving up to go into dining to order, an employee was coming out of restroom buttoning her pants. We were trying to go inside to place separate orders. Dining room is closed. Going through drive thru, they will only take 1 order at a time. Manager says it's a corporate issue and the order per ratio of vehicles ~ passing the buck ~ we do not care about the order per car ratio. We wanted our dinner. Will not be back to this KFC. Pulled into this drive thru late at night because it was right off the highway. The employees were to make my wings fresh and asked me to pull over. I ended up going in to wash my hands and was told the employees didn't hear the order and that they had just dropped the chicken. Simple mistake but the lady was very apologetic about it and offered me an extra drink or side which I declined. She was very nice about it. It was nice to see someone at a fast food restaurant give a damn about a mistake. The chicken was fresh, not loaded down with a bunch of sauce, and the restaurant looked clean when I went.
