The best slim chicken is at Stateline in texarkana very nice food quick scenery nice, and the managers check on you, and they make sure everything is comfy for you. I recommend this place to eat. I've been to this place twice in the last week. While I'm not the biggest fan of chicken tenders, I have managed to cozy up to their Honey BBQ tenders. They are never dry always seem to be fresh out of the fryer, juicy...Just perfection! Ranch chips....not my favorite Mac & Cheese... it threw me for a loop.... it's all white not the traditional yellowish orange. It's wonderful for fast food Mac & Cheese Bone in wings... typical wings, the buffalo pairs well with ranch and blue cheese dipping sauce Waffle... it's a fresh hot waffle that is STILL amazing by the time I get home to eat it however I think I should get at least two waffles for the 3.99 price. I first tried a Slim Chickens wrap at the location in Fayetteville, which was the only store at that time and had opened recently. I have been going back for more chicken tenders, fries, toast, raspberry sweet tea, or okra ever since. I have moved states and for a time only got Slim's when we traveled. We have been to at least eight locations in four states. Now, there is a Slim Chickens location not so far from me and I can have it more often. Slim's is my favorite place to get chicken. read more

We stopped by on a long drive thanks to Yelp reviews and we are glad we did. Loved the fried mushrooms, homemade dips, French fries, Mac 'n cheese and the buffalo fried chicken wrap. They also have a great selection of iced teas. We sat outside because we had our dog with us, and the staff came out to make sure we had napkins and that we had enough dips! I love slims so much, however I won't be going back for a while because today is the third time they've given me old, dry, chicken on my sandwich! It's like it's been redunked in the fryer and is a day old. So tough it's inedible. Cayenne ranch chicken sanwhich is a great idea but no amount of sauce can cover up old dry chicken. The advertisements for this place say their chicken is life changing. That may be a bit of hyperbole but it is pretty tasty. The chicken was good by itself but the various dipping sauces made it even better. We also had fried pickles and Mac and cheese.
