The food was alright. Not much to say about it. However, the customer service was terrible. They seemed like they hated their job, especially one girl and she didn't even give us our change and we had to go ask for it so she was very annoying.. I never believed I would have to write an awful review on Kentucky Fried Chicken. To abbreviate it, KFC. Me and my mama Cortese ADORE this facility, or at least that's a memory.. that will now be forgotten. Pushed aside, collecting dust on a bookshelf of reviews. My dearest mama Cortese was feeling down, for reasons I will not state. So I took my brother Jaquavious and my white chick Takashima to KFC. Jaquavious has a deep fear of chicken, but he believed he would have a great experience here and was brave. What a lie. Takashima didn't understand the appeal, what is KFC? Who is the infamous Colonel? My grandmother Lafonda gave me the story, which I'm just now learning isn't true. The Colonel discovered his love for fried chicken on a mountain with his friend Lieutenant Thomas. They were like two twinkle toes on a mountain top! The excitement overwhelming. Sadly, my therapist told me that is not true. All good with me though! Or it was.. it was until.. the INCIDENT. In the drive thru, I was stating our orders with all kindness, and i was brutally attacked with hurtful words by the employee. I felt an evil presence, like a dark cloud surrounding the drive thru. I was being pressured, I was being treated like I was a pest. I asked a simple question, "Is it possible to get my chicken breast cooked rare?" I was greeted by a scoff, and a firm "No.", Not a "Sorry sir, we don't have that option." I believed this was a man of my kind, a bravo mike as the police state us. Wrong. I was appalled, why is he not supporting and uplifting our race? Are they putting black against black? I could see Taka had a frightened expression, she didn't feel safe here. My brother Jaquavious felt no better, he was nearly in tears. I can't see my brother that way, I feel love and compassion for him. How could this be allowed? Would the Colonel approve? I imagined he wouldn't, but then the thought crossed my mind. The Colonel isn't a perfect man, he probably owned me and my brothers and sisters back in the day. I realized I can't get this chicken, but I was trapped. I had to take the risk, what if this man poisons my mama's chicken?! But then I come to realize what my mama would say, "He's all bark.. no bite." I took that whole heartedly. I nearly slammed that gas up to that window, sadly had to give them my money.. then snatched that receipt from that light skinned man, who I believed was a brother. Brought the chicken to my mama Cortese who could feel our pain. Making it hard to touch the chicken, but she did it, and as they say in The Outsiders (1983).. "Do it for Johnny" And in this case, "Do it for Jaquavious" My brother, and for his fear of chicken, as well as breasts. Take it how you perceive it. Don't go to Kentucky Fried Chicken. read more

Its pretty sad were getting told by employees that "managment really wants us to push to get kiosk orders" so they have employees scrubbing the concrete sidewalk instead of helping customers customer service has been replaced by oh come here and order your own food yourself because managment says you have to well wheres my paycheck for doing half your job. Upon arrival and waiting to have our order taken I observed a young man rotating the chicken in the cabinets and stocking the full of fresh made chicken. I went on and ordered two 16 piece buckets of original recipe chicken with 8 large side plus two more regular sides with 16 biscuits. I requested for the employee to exchange two wings for two legs. He stood waiting quite some time before engaging someone about my request. He went on to take another order. He finally went asked someone who could be heard with an abrupt no. I began to formulate my yelp review. I requested the name of the manager for my review. The employee went and asked if he could give me the restaurant managers name to which the second employee said give her my name (Alex. ) he then said to me I'm the manger and I can't accommodate your request because I don't have enough chicken. I told him he's a liar. (Remember I watched the previous employee put all new chicken before Alex came up on the floor ) so liar was appropriate, you can see the full cabinets of chicken. The cost difference in between a wing and a leg is minimal. He could have even charged the difference if that was necessary. I can tell you I've made this request of the kfc on seltice and have never been turned down or charged more. When I returned to the hotel with our order two of the small sides were missing. We had to go back and ask for them to complete our order. This was a very disappointing visit. I'll be voting with my feet and take my 118.00 elsewhere, where my business will be valued. This is my second review. My first review was about ordering a bucket of chicken that we used to enjoy. We ordered on-line to pay at the store in Hayden when we picked it up. The price we were charged was much more than advertised. When we got the chicken home, we opened the bucket to find a greasy mess of chicken that you could not even tell what part it was. I wrote a review describing our dissatisfaction. After approx 2 months, I was contacted by someone with KFC that spend her time defending the company and store not at all trying to help. Horrible service. Horrible quality. We went through the drive thru, ordered the "Family Meal" and paid at the window. The server took our payment then told us to "Go ahead and go park out front and we will bring you your food". We thought it was strange, but she closed the window so we did as instructed. We sat in the parking lot for fifteen minutes waiting. Finally, we went inside only to find our order sitting on the counter! WTH? What is the purpose of the drive thru if you have to park your car and walk in to get your food??? To top it off, the "Family Meal" consisted of 6 tiny little pieces of chicken that did not even fill half the bucket, 4 sides which were in tiny little toddler size portions that would not even satisfy one person let alone a FAMILY! There was literally a half of a cup of mash potatoes and gravy compared to the two cups of potatoes and a separate cup of gravy you used to get in a MEAL! Such a rip off! Probably the nicest KFC I've been to in a long time. The service was excellent. They keep the restaurant very clean including the restrooms and the food was cooked well. I was really impressed but the service provide by Jeana. She was super polite and really made me feel welcome. It's service like hers that really stands out in this world. poor service in the lobby. manager was filling orders for drive thru. a car went through less than every 5 minutes. 2 families in lobby when I came in. I placed my order at 5:18 pm. lobby filled up to standing room only. manager saw lobby fill up but did not leave drive thru where she was filling orders. assistant manager was playing in the back and didn't help lobby. excuses given: under staffed (there were at least 9 employees behind counter) drive thru time was being monitored by corporate so they got priority a trainee was working on the lobby side and manager didn't have time to help them. ordered at 5:18 pm and received my order at 5:55pm. read more

Undeniably the worst service I've ever received. 9:00 on Saturday we needed food for hungry kids and a crying baby and after mumbles took our order he told us several menu items couldn't be made then barked at us for asking for sauce "ask at the window" which proved he can in fact talk loud enough to understand. Staff is friendlier then some of the KFC's I have been to latley but still seem to be lacking in some general customer service skills. Food was good pretty much what you would expect from any KFC. Service time is slow and make sure you check out your bags because they forget food quite often. The drink area is always low on straws or lids and is just a mess, I never eat in the dinning area but I have had to wait for my food there and it is in need of a deep cleaning but is a very cute area. So overall, Friendly staff that needs some extra training, Messy drink area, a dinning area that needs a good cleaning, and Food that is pretty much what you would expect from any KFC. Best part is their $5 fill up is actually $5 unlike some other locations that we have visited. read more

Ya know the food is regular KFC food but, ALWAYS messes up our order in some way. Every time... like tonight No cookies with our fill up meals and my moms meal was supposed to have mashed potatoes and gravy... she just got a container of gravy no potatoes. We've been eating at this KFC for some time now. Just wondering on what there Goal is to stay in Business? A couple years ago I had to Call Corp. to complain about the Cleanliness and service of this location. As the management team seamed to not care about there very dirty Lobby while the staff spent most of there time playing. When asked, management said store was not that bad. We decided to retry them after there remodel, hum. We went through the drive thru. Pulled up to the speaker. The employee came over the speaker saying she will be right with us. 10 min Later we had to call the store to remind them we are still waiting. We gave order then pulled up to the window when that employee [Rudely} said she did not hear the beep and was unaware we out there. Well that brings us to today We ordered 2 $5.00 Box meals [Original} with 1 extra side coleslaw. After getting Home Both Box Meals had Crispy not Original and no Coleslaw. Not Happy!!! So We called store where they said they will only credit one of the meals. When both meal where WORNG.. So don't let the newness look of the store fool you. Service was horrible. Saturday of labor day weekend and literally stood in line for 20 min (yeah, should have bailed after 5). The gal took two orders at a time and then left the cash register to fill orders. I don't think she could have moved any slower. Walked in at 6:40 and was not able to place order till 7:00pm.
