I had the sudden urge and craving for a famous chicken bowl so stopped at KFC for the first time in forever! I ordered the spicy famous bowl meal which came with fries and a drink (I ordered lemonade). I was disappointed to find no corn in my bowl. I love corn and it adds to the overall flavor. I missed the sweetness of the corn with the spiciness of the chicken. Still delicious though. Of course the fries hit though they were luke warm upon receiving. I ate them on the drive home to maintain ultimate crispness, lol. It was fast and the worker was nice which isn't always guaranteed in "fast" food these days. I'll remember this for future fast food meals but will ask them to remember my corn read more

Very disappointing experience at this KFC after spending over $43.00. Today I stopped at this KFC after work to pick up some chicken in which I was charged an upcharge for getting extra white meat in my box for a total of over $43.00. When I got home I notice that I had all dark meat and absolutely no white meat at all after paying extra for additional white meat. Secondly when I looked in the bag for my receipt to call them back I did not have one which means they would not believe me. However, it was charged to my debit card. This is my second time that my order has been wrong at this KFC. I want be returning here anymore after wasting over $43.00. read more

First of all, I am so sorry to all of the 1 star reviewers, as my experience today at KFC was great. Ever since I saw the advertisement for the Beyond chicken, I knew I had to give it a try. I have not been to KFC in almost 15 years, but this brought me back. I was out running errands and passed by and thought, "oooohhhh, today's the day!" Ran one more errand and swung back by. Due to weather, there was no one in the drive-thru...perfect! TBH, I think it may have only been 2 or 3 people running the show today. My order was taken, food was ready when I rounded the building, I RECEIVED A RECEIPT. Told the gentleman thank you, be safe and I was on my way. I have no complaints at all, for me, everything was as it should have been. When I got home, my food was still hot....what more can I say? The Beyond nuggets taste like chicken. Absolutely awful. The service was so poor. After paying for the order, I was asked to pull forward. I knew I was in trouble when I saw 4 other cars! The man bringing food out told me it was the biscuits holding things up and it would be another 3 minutes. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time. When I got home, it got worse. The 2 biscuits I ordered were raw. I ordered 12 pieces of chicken, and 6 of them were legs, one piece I can't identify. It looked like some pieces had been fried twice; they were much darker. I had paid cash and didn't get a receipt so I have no recourse. $34 and I still didn't have food I would eat. I won't be back. read more

The review is one star only because it is not possible to give negative star ratings. I had an encounter with Christy at KFC at Battleground that took longer than taking an order. Horrible service! If you can avoid it PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Anything would be better than rude, unintelligent, uninterested, people who do not care how they reflect on a beloved brand. I told Christy that the app did not let me order a qty of 24 wings and 24 beyond nuggets. She continued to tell me to use the app. She argued with me that I could used the app until I walked her step by step. Then she took my order. Then told me the would not start the order until I arrived. The time Christy wasted could not be worth me, any of my FB friends or people who read this review lost business. Contacting KFC corporate on Monday to lodge an official complaint about the app and customer service at the Battleground store. Went by 5:45 on a Sunday and nobody would ever come to the speaker. Finally on the 4th attempt my wife orders just chicken and the guy says "we don't have any chicken right now. It will be about 50 minutes before it's ready". Never an apology or anything. Funny thing is we have come by this particular location numerous times and there is always an issue. So I asked about pricing, the 12pcs tender meal shows at $20 and change on the me he which was correct, however I was being charged $10 for a famous bow only when the menu showed the meal at $5.48 when I asked the you lady at the drive thru said "Oh yeah, we went up on our prices" I said no thank you I will not pay $10 for a famous bowl when your menu doesn't reflect that price and they purposely don't give you a receipt so you can't leave them a review. I just started to actually like KFC but the customer service at this location is horrible. The cashier here was extremely rude to me and another customer. I asked for two honey mustard sauces and I was told it would be 0.39 cent for an extra one which I told her was fine. I drive off and there's only one sauce in the bag so I go back, I told her I never got another one and she proceeded to say "I told you it would be 0.39 cent" I said "yeah I said that's fine, here is my 0.39 cent". It was 28.81 for my purchase only to get all the way home and all but 2 pieces were burnt. Burnt grease and hard chicken. They brought it out to me after paying in the drive through. Just went through drive through. Ordered 2piece original and 2 piece extra crispy. Was told to move around to front and they would bring it out. Waited 10 minutes when manager come out and as if I would accept an extra crispy wing and original breast. If not it would take 15 minutes to cook. I asked why that had not been done yet. Had to wait additional 30 bminutes to get food. Had to keep reminding them. Several others having problems getting food because it's not read . One person had been waiting since 1:30 and she just got it at 2:37p. Totally unacceptable to keep taking orders and not cook food. Two weeks ago I come through and orders the same thing. Didn't get the sides I asked for and didn't even get the thighs and legs only that I asked foe I got everything but the wrong and thighs then I called them about the wrong order and he said I am pretty sure it was right I packed it myself. Why would I be calling it it was right!! Tells me to come pick it up in 30 mins! My food will be completely cold by the time I get the correct food! Nostalgia got the best of me today. I was thinking about original recipe, mash potatoes and gravy, and a warm buttery biscuit. What I got was small, greasy chicken with mediocre spuds and a hockey puck. The chicken was not the golden brown as in the past but more of a darker color, it was more finger wiping than finger lickin' good. The potatoes were not impressive and the biscuits were horrible little things. I usually post reviews of large chains when they are impressive or disappointing. Yesterday I came by after work to pick up the $30 Family Meal special they've got going on. I make it all the way home and realize they did not give me my chicken tenders. So I call and speak to a man who says I could come back today for the tenders and he would write my name down. I go there today to get my tenders and I walk up to the counter and a very rude female asks what do I want, I tell her what happened, she said she doesn't recall that happening. So I told her I needed the tenders I paid for yesterday but never got. She gave me awful attitude and when I was about to ask for the manager I noticed that her badge said manager so I know speaking with her would've gotten me nowhere. She gave me the tenders and I said thank you, she didn't say a word nor looked at me and walked away. Another man came to the register and apologized for what had happened. I will no longer be visiting this location and it's not because of the missing tenders it's simply because of the rude attitude I received from the woman when I was the one who didn't receive food I paid for. read more

I love KFC and have since I was a kid. This is one of my favorite comfort foods. That being said, this KFC is horrible. My husband and I went there last night and ordered 2 strip meals with double mashed potatoes and a 6 piece wing as well as 2 extra biscuits and 2 drinks. The price we were quoted was under $16. I knew that was too low of a price so when I got to the window. I again confirmed the order with the cashier. She said yes to everything and again quoted me the same price. I paid, we were given our drinks and then a bag of food. We were not given a receipt. We live about 7 mins away so we took the bag and went home. When we got home we had the 6 piece wing, the 2 drinks. We only had 1 meal and instead of double mashed we had 1 mash, 1 french fry and 1 extra biscuit. The mashed potatoes were old because instead of white fluffy mashed potatoes with a lot of gravy, the potatoes were tan and there was hardly any gravy. I believe it sat so long that the potatoes absorbed the gravy. When I called the restaurant back to complain, I explained the situation and was told that I only paid for 1 meal and the wings so that's what I got. Lovely customer service. Their employees need to be better trained and their manager that was working last night needs a better understanding of customer service. This is not the first time we have had an issue with our order but it was the last straw. We will not be back. read more

The food quality is awful (even for fast food standards), the staff is unhelpful and plain rude. We gave them a second chance after contacting the regional offices but have not improved one bit. If you are hungry for chicken, save your money and go elsewhere. This is Greensboro and we have plenty other good chicken joints that is actually worth your money. Note: Cashier refused to provide receipt till we begged for it, I suspect someone in this KFC is either skimming debit/credit cards or some sort of fraud. Just had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, the New Fries, & Dr. Pepper....all I can say is the Dr. Pepper did not fail me. The sandwich & fries on the other hand were very sad. I ordered through the drive through and was asked to pull up to a parking space as my order was being made. I truly expected a hot sandwich when I got home (2 miles away) not so much. As I drove out the parking lot I reached in my bag to grab a couple of those Hot Fresh Fries but only found a container full of old dried out salty potato sticks that tasted stale and salty. I got home and unwrapped my sandwich, took a bite and honestly had what seemed like a dry room temperature salt block. Nothing like I've come to experience from KFC. I truly feel like I wasted my money and then when I called to speak to the manager I was told that they were busy so I spoke to a young lady that did not give her name but she said jokingly that I didn't have to wait in a long line like at other places then hung up. I would give zero stars if this was an option! This would have been a comedy of errors if it was a stage play. I placed my order in the drive-thru and was informed that there would be a short wait for one of the items. The cashier confirmed my order, I paid, pulled forward and proceeded to wait. The manager stepped outside and looked at my car after 15 minutes passed. Then he returned inside. After an additional 10 minutes I decided to go inside. The manager, cashier and cook all came forward and acknowledged having forgotten my order. And in addition, still had not prepared the items requested! Now I'm not saying KFC should employ Rocket scientists at their restaurants but either all the employees were on some type of substance or got the bad end of a lobotomy.
