Here we were again in Green Valley visiting the parents who don't eat on a traditional schedule and with a mother who doesn't like to cook. And I really don't mind that she doesn't like to cook, heck she's retired she can do whatever she wants to! So, back to KFC. My partner and I were both hungry having eaten very little before the trek from Scottsdale to Green Valley. The closest places to pick something up quick were McDonald's and KFC and I was chosen to make the run. While any fast food is not my first choice, McDonald's is probably my last choice. I would have ordered salads there and I'm just not a big fan. So I decided on KFC and am so glad I did. I ordered two three-piece breast/wing meals for us which in addition to the chicken includes two sides and a biscuit for $6.99. That may seem a little pricey for KFC but this was a HUGE amount of food. The chicken breasts were so big they had to put two of them in a separate box. The fries were okay, the cole slaw pretty good, the biscuit a little dry, but the chicken was GREAT. Yep, I know it's fast food, but for KFC I have to say the chicken tasted great. I'm not a big fast food fan, but I'm going to have to re-think KFC once in a while. read more

I am not a big fan of KFC. My wife likes it and went to get a quick dinner tonight. When she got home she found that she had not received everything she had ordered. Missing items were on the receipt, but not in the bag. Back to the restaurant to get the missing items (2 chicken legs). No apology for the 2 missing legs or the trip back. They just handed her a box with 3 legs. I guess that is their way of saying sorry. No online ordering available at this KFC and I assume no delivery available either. Did not change my opinion of KFC and I will not be coming back to this location. read more

This is a pretty good KFC. They do go through a lot of employees though....seems like I never see the same faces twice which tells me the management has issues with retention. The chicken here is good and consistant. Some locations can be really greasy. This one has good balance. As always potato wedges and coleslaw are the best..must have with my meal. The biscuits could be so much better if they finished them with a brush of butter coming out of the oven. read more

You had One Job; put chicken in a box. I like the recipe, but everytime I go there, the order is wrong, usually by number of pieces of chicken in the box. Tonight I asked for 3 pieces, when I got home - 2 pieces. Also, either get a cash register that tells you how much change to give me back, or, actually learn how to count. read more

We made a huge mistake by purchasing chicken at the drive thru. It was some of the worst chicken I've ever had. We ordered crispy and it was soggy. I ordered a breast and leg and the breast was attached to another part of the chicken which was about 3-4 inches long. I'm not sure if it was part of the neck or which part of the chicken it belonged to. It was absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!Will never frequent this restaurant again!!!!! read more

Tried to call this KFC to confirm they are open and would accept coupons i recieved in my local paper. Called three times no answer. Decided to drive to this location arrived at 7pm ordered via drive thru the employee stated we are low on chicken and cannot fill your order. what a waste of time. read more

Sorry to say that this place is really filthy. Your shoes stick to the floor when you come in so I shudder to think when the last time it was mopped. Food seems ok but again I wonder how clean the kitchen is. Service is mediocre. They go thru a lot of staff. This particular site gives KFC a bad rep. read more

Decided to try the new KFC Nashville chicken because we sure love our spicy chicken. We made a trip to our local KFC which we have always considered sub-standard & we were pleasantly surprised with KFC's new chicken. This spicy chicken encompasses a taste that is note-worthy but not over the top. It had the right amount of spice & flavor that didn't overwhelm but gave it the perfect kick. The chicken has a Cajun flare that is both rich & tangy. Hopefully KFC keeps this around for awhile! read more

I refuse to give it a rating. I have to give it a star to post but they don't deserve it. I should be -5 stars instead. This restaurant doesn't even deserve one star. I went through drive up today. I ordered my usual a #9 with t side of coleslaw. The gentleman had a accent and ask me twice what I wanted. He repeated it back every time. He didn't even ask what I wanted to drink. He just told me to pull up to the window. When I got to the window he ask me again twice. I repeated my order and said I wanted a diet coke with it. I got my order immediately which alerted my brain that something was wrong. I did not see my coleslaw and ask. The gentleman said it was in the box. I pulled in the parking space and checked and all I had was 3 chicken tenders and a biscuit. I again went through the drive up and said I don't have any mashed potatoes. He took my bag and turned around and ask someone a question and then he left the window. He came back with my bag and said here is the mashed potatoes. I could see the small bowl on its side in the plastic bag. By that time I was fuming. I pulled in the parking place again to put the mashed potatoes in the box so it would not drip. When I opened the bag it was bowl was coleslaw which was suppose already in the box. So I went through the drive thru again. Another man with an accent came to the window and I explained I still did not get my mashed potatoes. He checked the order and said you did not order mashed potatoes you wanted coleslaw instead. I repeated my order and told him I told the man 4 times what I wanted. I said I wanted a #9 with a side of coleslaw with a diet coke. He said that is not what you ordered. He said I said coleslaw instead of mash potatoes. He then proceeded to charge me for the mashed potatoes because the other man did not charge me for the coleslaw. I made the comment: "You are charging me for something you messed up on. I should be getting this free" for screwing up my order 4 times. He just gave me a look. I was so mad. When I finally got home. The chicken looked like it was left over from the day or week before and was put back in the deep fryer to warm it up. It was so hard dark, dark brown,you could hardly bite into it. The potatoes was lukewarm. I looked at my receipt and it had the #9 as my order. He did not acknowledge the coleslaw order at all. I will never go back. Who ever is in charge needs to correct the procedures for drive up and put someone who can speak english and understand it for customer service. Ok, I love KFC but it'll be a long time before I eat at another one. Maybe forever. I've been eating out a lot lately due to a broken a/c. I've been to this KFC twice in the last week. The first time I went to the drive -thru: I was given the wrong soda and when I opened the meal box the mashed potatoes had exploded all over everything. I was a little reluctant to go again but was running late for dinner and my son was starving. We went inside: the lemonade was literally brown, there were flies everywhere, small, dead gnats on my son's cup, and the restaurant was SO dirty. There was even a black comb just laying on the filthy floor. Needless to say, we got out of there ASAP. So gross. read more

Terrible! all i can say, food is always old and never fresh and they don't care!

I go to KFC around 4 times a month. The $5 fill up is now 5.69 while the size of the sides is smaller. So the price hike is crazy.

The food was good. I don't particularly like over battered crust, but it is delicious when I do want some grease and extra calories. If you do not go during peak hours, chicken seems to be greasy. You have to specifically ask for napkins as I do eat my fried chicken with my fingers. read more

I thought I would try this place today since it has been about 4 years since last visit. Ordered two piece breast and drumstick. The drumstick was soaked in oil.The breast was barely warm and looked like it had been kicked around with most of the skin hanging off, The bottom of the breast you could see the bone had broken. (it even looked like it had rib bones very weird). took one bite and spit it out. it was disgusting. the corn on cob was so soggy could not eat it.i ate half the mash and gravy and biscuit. I always get a ugly sorry little piece o two in my bucket. On time I checked it before I Left the drive up window and they gave me extra pieces. The workers are usually foreign from India or middle east and act like they are better that us local hispanics. I found out the same in other areas. What the heck I just want some chicken. I wanted 8 piece chicken only for $11.99, he gave me 10 piece for $12.99. I said I could not find that on the menu. He got upset and said it is in the window, I apologized an said my eyes were tired and I did not see it.These guy know nothing about customer service. This area is all senior citizens so that may be why thy are cut.It is always someone different. They do not retain employees. I will talk to the mgr if this continues. read more

Green Valley's KFC is not up to snuff. Last time the chicken was not what I've enjoyed for years and it was greasy.

Of all the food outlets that I have ever eaten at in Canada and the USA, including many KFC's, this is without question the worst! The food was nothing more than overlooked garbage. I am a very patient customer who has never put in a negative review before but I feel compelled to do this one to save the money, and health, of others. I would strongly suggest the food inspection agency for Arizona take a hard look at this dive. The owners of this place are an embarrassment to the good service industry of Green Valley. read more
