I am honestly horrified I work in food and even I know this chicken is not cooked. The breading is super light which means it wasn't left in the fryer for the right amount of time, or the staff turned they fryer off early and still tried to cook food with it or maybe something is wrong with the fryer. Im not sure what happened but this is the kind of service that can get somebody sick if the chicken is not temping at 165 or higher you should not serve it. Also like always this location is constantly forgetting my order, I did not receive my gravy with my mash potatoes. KFC is not cheap food, it's pricey and I don't mind paying for the food if I'm getting back quality food. KFC you really need to do better. read more

Ordered food online and went to pick it up for my lunch break. I only get an hour lunch from work. I spent 30 minutes waiting inside for my food and watched 3 people ask for refunds due to the wait. I waited 30 minutes before being told they don't have any original and only crispy. I finally caved and got crispy cause I wasted half my lunch and was hungry. I get back with my food and it's honestly the most disgusting meal I've ever waiting 30 minutes for. I was told they would refund me for the wait and give me the meal free but I never received a refund. I've never been so annoyed over fast food before. read more

First off, I saw a yelp user saying that we can give these kids advice. I agree we don't have to be yelling or anything crazy like that, it is probably their first job and bad management, BUT the last thing these kids want is some stranger "giving them advice." As a former teenager and a former manager who worked in this industry I know for a fact that is a way to upset an employee more. Management, their parents, or their friends are their best way when it comes to taking advice, not from a stranger that they are probably already annoyed with. Just putting it out there because that is the worst advice to any customer. Second off, I have worked at a KFC before for years. The process really doesn't change that much. I still know people who work at other ones and I am still in tuned with how much has and hasn't changed. I know management has gone down hill big time. It is hard to keep employees there, and the ones who are there aren't happy about it. Well when I come here I am very much reminded about the fact that they are short staffed, poorly run, and overwhelmed. Speaking that I have worked for the franchise before it is hard to say if the employees are really just that bad here, took almost 30 minutes for 4 plain chicken littles, at 11 in the morning. They had everything ready just no one was preparing them. So I sat there when I honestly could have just gone in and made them in 2 minutes or less. I used to work there so I know. I'm a mother of 3 grown children. As in most cases working in a restaurant is typically their first job. I read a lot of complaints that are probably made by these young people. Instead of complaining and getting upset, you should take it upon yourself and give good advice to this young person. If the young person becomes rude, just tell them that this is a place of business and you and I have business to conduct and I understand if you don't have something that I want, we can come up with a reasonable solution. For the people who had to be sent to the parking lot and wait and suddenly forgotten about. I would have gone into the restaurant and called the young person over and told them you understand that you guys are busy, but I'm in a hurry and would love to get my order. Being a good worker it's important to remember the people who have waited the longest and to make sure they are your priority. Let them know that you understand this job is very busy and sometimes confusing, but you need to remain strong and stay one task at a time. WAKE UP, PEOPLE!!! These are our children and we all have been there. It's a learning process and lord knows "IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE OUR CHILDREN!" Not everything calls for the manager to be involved. Beware: Food poisoning, I knew I shouldn't have eaten the food when I unwrapped it as it was obviously dried out and tough, but I was hungry and it was midafternoon and I had already made it home with the meal. This was yesterday evening; shortly after eating, I got a headache, the bubble guts, and diarrhea which kept me up all through the night because every 15m or so I was back on the toilet. Ordered some sides to go with our bbq we were going to have. Weird to review a fast food chain but I wanted to mention this is during the covid lockdown. And would like to mention it was nice to have our food handed in a plastic covered bin. Haven't seen that done in a drive through yet. We had a large mash and gravy which was very good. Consistent in taste with other kfc. Also ordered corn, which was in a cup. Didn't taste like much. I thought it was going to be on the cob. But maybe they don't do that anymore. I also asked about their potato wedges. They recently switched to normal fries. I was pretty disappointed since I liked theirs better than any other fast food place. read more

I've given this place way too many chances. Not any more, this dump isn't getting another red cent out of my pocket. Let me start with the sparknotes of my past experiences before I get into why I'm done with this location. I've been left at the counter in upwards of 15 minutes with every employee passing me and even some yammering at their friends and not actually working, I've had meals missing things or just got the wrong thing entirely, I've gotten attitude from everyone under the sun even though I've always been polite, and I can't remember once except right after this location opened that it was ever clean. Yet I kept going, if only because it's right down the road from where I live. Recently however I order delivery through Postmates from this location because it was late at night and I had been working all day, and wasn't going to go out. The food arrived quickly but what I got was an insult. I ordered a popcorn chicken meal with fries, biscuits, and a drink. What I got instead was a box of fried breading with no chicken, cold fries, and stale biscuits. The soda was the only acceptable thing in the entire meal, but that's Pepsi's handiwork, and its pretty hard to screw up a soda, even if you give me the wrong one. I'm 100% certain the careless, unprofessional people who work here shoved whatever leftover food they had into packages and threw it out the door, considering everything was barely warm (fries aside which were pretty cold) with no forethought or even the slightest bit of consideration for the fact I paid money for palatable food, not garbage that was way past its throwout time; the fact I paid $14 (food plus charges) for food that I couldn't eat and had to throw out and wasted a coupon for free delivery is a massive insult. The lack of care is so glaring I can't believe I kept going back. I called the store and never got an answer, and postmates was absolutely no help. I tried emailing but never got a reply from corporate, so now I'm disputing the charge with my bank. I'm not paying for food I didn't eat. If you really want KFC, try one of the other locations. An example of a horrible KFC. Sitting here after leaving their filthy bathroom where even the water spout in the sink doesn't work and the floors are full of litter. Took me awhile to find a clean table most of the counters were sticky and the seats on the booths dirty. As to the food: Cole slaw good, but cut too thick; mashed potatoes fair, but not blended enough; biscuit ok, but too small and not buttered; the chicken was cooked well and ok in taste; and, finally, the sweet tea was too sweet. This location had some horrible reviews before it closed down for a major remodel. It closed in the summer of 2016, and just re-opened a few weeks ago (March 2017). I had high hopes, but was disappointed. At 4pm on a Saturday, the parking lot was 90% full, and the drive-thru line had 6-7 cars waiting, so I'm thinking the place must be popular. -1 Star: As busy as it was, I was able to go right to the counter to order. However, no one was working the register. After 5-6 people passed right in front of me without the slightest acknowledgement of my existence, I finally asked if anyone was working the counter. The response I got was "that's not my register", and he moved on. Shortly after a young lady came up and asked "can I take your order?". No "hello" or "thank you" then, or when my food was ready after a 15 minute wait. Doesn't anyone give these employees training in proper "customer service"? They wouldn't last 5 minutes at a Chick Fil-A. -1 Star: It was a beautiful Spring day in Florida, mid 70's (F) with a nice breeze, but inside it was well over 80 (F) in the dining area, and I imagine much worse in the kitchen. I can count on 1 hand the days in a year (in Florida) when one might want it to be warmer inside than it is outside, and this certainly wasn't one of them. -1 Star: Food. I will never go back to this KFC ever again! My husband and I waited in the drive thru for 23 min before we got to the pay window and questioned the price because it seemed low for what we ordered. She realized her mistake with the help of a woman, whom I think was the manager, and they asked if he wanted the 3piece original or crispy and he answered her and was given $2.00 change of a $20 bill, I watched her hand it to him. We got to the pickup window and sat there waiting for our food for another 13 minutes. When we got the food we checked the bag and the order was wrong. When we spoke up about it we were argued with, treated badly by the management & my husband never got what he actually wanted. That was the worst experience i have ever had from ANY fast food restaurant and I am 44 years old! I even worked for KFC when I was 17-18. Oh I almost forgot, when we were explaining what we wanted, again, 3 piece and a biscuit, we didn't get the chicken but we got 2 biscuits and when my husband showed them, they took the biscuits back into the restaurant through the drive thru window! Very terrible customer service. Management has no control over clueless front counter staff. Assistant Manger Janice is VERY unprofessional and manager Xavier seems to be more of an associate instead of a shift lead and a overseer of the shift. In addition, the lobby is new but not well kept nor clean and the front counter cashiers kept giving clients the wrong order. I will never return to such a hot mess again. True the restaurant is in the ghetto but it can be more professional then that. read more
