I love KFC but I have to say, this outlet is very small, there is usually a queue coming out the door during the peak hours and parking is not existent. The location is good though as it is right in the town centre, with this in mind, if you happen to already be in town and parking is not an issue, then paying them a visit is highly recommend it, as long as you like this sort of food that is. The staff are fairly mechanical although, this is expected when they have to process people through as quick as they can. read more

One expects a certain degree of standard when buying food even from worldwide fast food chains like KFC Unfortunately Crawley's Store ticks very few boxes. Starting with accessibility, if you happen to be wondering around the town centre it is ideal lunch time destination being just a few minutes walk from the main shopping centre. HOWEVER any other scenario location is almost impossible, parking is non existent for customers leaving you to use the towns pay and display car parks which for such a short stay can work out expensive and still a distance to walk. Once you arrive in the shop first thing you WILL be greeted with is a Q, and very slow service by staff that in general do not know the menu they are serving. Once your order is placed you will join the rank of men & women waiting for there orders. This again can be a very long drawn out process with wait times averaging approx 10-15 mins Finally after all the hassle parking, Q'ing, ordering & waiting you can finally eat. Providing you actually received what you ordered (another major problem with this branch is the severe lack of concentration used when bagging up orders, I can't honestly say a time where I have not had to check the bag and remind them of things they forgot. And it's normally more than one item.) Chicken: the main event so to speak, arrives warm at best dripping with grease. More often than not I find even when eating in the chicken or cold and very unappealing. chips: not once have I ever been served hot chips! With a very bland flavour about them they are by far the worst part of the meal so much so I can safely say I have not actually eaten one of there chips for nearly two years Drink: serving the ever popular drinks such as Pepsi etc I always find myself wondering how they manage to get everything so wrong, even the drinks they serve have lost all sense of respect as they come to u barely 3/4 full and as flat as a two week old bottle :/ To sum up Crawley's KFC really is a massive disappointment for one of my favourite fast food brands (for flavour at least) the entire experience begs the question,with all the time involved going to this fast food chain why would you not just go to a normal restaurant where the food is far more likely to be cooked properly, will have a more wide range in flavours, service should be better, undoubtedly healthier and most importantly will be enjoyable because that is the real reason we should be eating out! read more

thing about kfc in the uk is that there are so many better choices for fried food every 20 steps you take. consider that when you go in to see the old colonel. i do go see the old guy once in a while when i travel. my favorite one being in tokyo. the statue of the salty dog out front had a pair of women's underwear in his hand. oh those funny people! anyway, this one in crawley had long hours, making it a drunk food stop for many. that is fine except one of the nights i went there was a fellow weaving and i thought he was gonna barf. stand back....? anyhow, i liked this particular one because they had dr. pepper on tap. the 'hot'wings i got were tasty and easy to eat on a walk. biggest complaint i have for kfc europe is common- no mashed potatoes. that is part of the finger licken experience and feels somehow incomplete eating fried chips (fries) instead. read more

Disgusting. We waited about 30 mins to get served. The queue was right out the door. Not a manager in sight to help out. Every table was dirty, litter and food all over the floor and chairs. I had to ask for a table to cleaned. Very understaffed. read more

The management have no clue on staff management . One girl doing serving , taking orders and doing everything and more staff behind doing not a lot a guy in a black shirt ( manager may be ) just doing drinks while the customers are queuing out the door. ALways busy and orders quite often wrong but only KFC in the surrounding area so have no choice if you love it. They did try and expand into the premises next door but the idiots at the council wouldn't give them permission so we are doomed to stand in the rain and queue for the foreseeable future. read more

even though this is a small base of kfc the food speaks for itself there is some parking a little way away which you have to pay for. it is always busy in there but i think thats just because its a small base and theres nowhere to stand! read more

horrible place. it is always crowded and when you do evetually get to the front they are often rude and unheplful, sometimes even getting the order wrong. there is no where to park so you have to pay for parking. not recommended place to go read more
