The chicken was good; it was juicy, the sauce tasted SO GREAT. The hot was not that hot. The portions were pretty good. However, for $10.80, it's not the most cheap meal. I got a side of charred vegetables, and it's definitely not worth it. Tastes fine, but it's overpriced. If you want decent chicken, this place won't disappoint, but it's kind of just okay. Glad to have tried though.

Nandos food is pretty much the same whatever venue u go too and me and my friends had no complaints. We went on a Saturday night and the place was heaving. Really good communication skills with staff we had to wait 25mins for a table but we sat outside with a few drinks so was all good. Once sat down fast service and good food worth a visit if ur craving chicken

With so many good reviews, I had to check this place out. I couldn't decide between having a burger or a chicken but heck, I was at "Chickenland", I might as well go for the chicken meat! I had the 1/2 chicken meal with fries and coleslaw for £9.85. A nice waitress recommended that meal over the burger and butterfly chicken meals because it had more meat at a better price. Some parts of my chicken were dry and overcooked but overall, it was a nice and tender dinner. I love how this self-serve place offers free refills on drinks (a rarity in Europe) and a buffet-line of sauces. My favorite sauce was the Lemon+Herb and the Hot Peri-Peri. Those two together made the perfect combo on top of my chicken and fries. Mmh mmh! The creamy coleslaw definitely lived up to its name; had it been cold rather than lukewarm, I wouldn't have mind the creaminess but I felt the coleslaw was total mayonnaise-OD (overdose). It gets pretty busy around late dinner time but you'll be seated within 15 minutes. Attentive and quick service, hip ambience, hearty food. If you're not afraid to work for your chicken, I recommend the 1/4 or 1/2 chicken meals. If you're a knife-and-fork kind of guy or gal, the butterfly chicken meal has no bones, but less meat. Wraps and burgers looked yummy too. Overall, it was a messy but fun experience. I enjoyed my meal so if this place wasn't so expensive, I'd definitely come back more often.

Chicken was good, restaurant was clean, staff was friendly. Very much liked the macho peas and supergrains salad. Not particularly cheekly, tho, and the banter was lacking.

Nice place to go, but for vegan food you should go somewhere else. The waitress was nice so, I might come back...

Order yourself a late night Pizza, or grab some tasty chips, just don't I repeat don't go to RFC! Its in a prime location for people to congregate at due to the placement of Buses and taxi's, but that's all it has going for it... Its not like I have ever seen this place in the cold light of a sober day either. I literally had no idea where this place even was until I looked it up on Yelp. Some how, the torrents of friends that have lead me to its doors as we stumble beneath our unwieldy legs have managed to convince me that 80's music is good, and that Doctor Who can actually be quite emotional, but NEVER that RFC would be a good idea at any time of night. I'm not big on fast food at any time, especially when I'm drunk... But I give this 2* because I know that even on the fast food scale of rating nosh, this doesn't score well... If you're heading home from the sea, drop in a Chippy on the way home. They'll be quicker, tastier and you won't miss a bus hanging around waiting for your friends.

I cannot tell whether she is arguing with me, asking for my help or perhaps has accidentally butt dialed me. Then I hear the words that every man wants to hear. "Do you want some chicken bringing home?" What a wonderful woman. Yes, I do want some chicken bringing home. I don't care if I ran 5 miles earlier. I don't care if I can't out-train a bad diet. It is 4 am and chicken is a divine treat for this time of morning. So I ask for a chicken wrap. But don't worry about the fries or drink. I am trying to eat better. She brings me home chicken, chips and a can of Coke. Then, she takes a bite of a chicken wing and falls asleep mid-chew. So I eat her chicken too. I eat it all. Because it's 4 am and it's the weekend. You will probably never eat at RFC at any other time than 4 am, on a weekend. The chicken is ok. Often it's a bit dry. The chicken wraps are my favorite. I like the mayonnaise here. It's hot and gooey. They don't really put any salad in the wrap though, just a few scraps of sorry-for-itself lettuce. The little RFC bags will sometimes come with sachets of salt, a toothpick, a lemon hand wipe and a serviette. I finish off the chips, freshen my face with the hand wipe and tuck myself into bed.

It serves up more than your average range of fast food - there's kebabs, thin or deep pan pizzas, burgers (including veggie), falafel wraps, chips, and mozzarella dough balls. Not exactly healthy food, I know, however this is the kind of place you would only head to if you've been on a big night out, or are suffering from the one before - I have never been in at any other time, I promise! On top of its vast menu, it's also very affordable, and their yummy pizzas are 2 for 1 all the time, so it's perfect for a group of friends. So, the staff might be rushed off their feet, and essentially it is a fast food take away, but the do have a five star hygiene certificate, and that's good enough for me after a glass of wine or two!

They have a wide selection of your typical fast food goodies! I ordered the cheese burger deal which came with fries and a drink for £4.20 which is a bargain! And it tasted yummy, we also got some chicken poppers which were almost as delicious as the popcorn chicken from KFC. Its a pretty decent take away joint, fast cheap and cheerful! Will use again and recommend to friends.

It was my last night in Brighton and I had done loads of research and came upon this place, it's fairly new so not too many locals new about it but I decided to give it a try. The service was a little slow, one guy working but the food was way too fucking good. You have the option of wings with different sauces or fried chicken burgers. THEY ALSO HAVE VEGAN OPTIONS. I decided to order the Hot as Cluck burger with Fried Potato skins & 2 sauces. WOW.... I'm not even sure if I can use my words to describe how good this was. The thigh fillet was so juicy, moist and flavourful, the coating was crispy but the breading was evenly spread. It was topped with pickles, lettuce, & spicy chipotle slaw. As a side I got the fried potato skins... fuck French fries - these were insanely good. They were fully cooked, had a great crisp to it and a bit chewy. They were seasoned perfectly. I also decided to get 2 of the homemade sauces. The Thai basil & jalapeño creamy sauce and the Sweet Soy & Ginger. They were perfection. The Thai basil went great with the potatoes and I would splash a bit of the soy on the chicken burger. Now the most important part is after I had finished I didn't feel gross, I didn't feel as though I had eaten junk food! That's called quality right there. Please check this place out! Including the desserts. I loved it so much that I excitedly tweeted to them that I would singlehandedly keep a restaurant open in Brighton. And they replied to me telling me to wait. Well... the wait is over! Today I was invited to the opening of the new Leon Restaurant in Brighton which replaces Eat. I think this is a brilliant swap as Eat was far too similar to its neighbour Pret. But Leon is quite different in that it offers warm, hearty food. Setting up just before winter is also probably a good move. The decor is really nice and chilled out. They make good use of the space which I've previously found a bit dark and claustrophobic. Katy and I were greeted by some of the nice workers at Leon and told we could each choose a meal and drink to have on the house. We both went for the Moroccan Meatballs (on my recommendation). I had a lemonade to drink and Katy went for a green smoothie. We also picked up a few sweet treats: my favourite lemon and ginger slice and a billionaire shortbread for Katy. The meatballs are my favourite so I knew I would like them, but Katy had never been to a Leon and she loved it as well. She began talking about how close it is to her work and how she will be able to pop in on breaks for a relatively healthy and warm meal. We also tried searching for the menu online and a sneaky link to Deliveroo popped up. So we're hoping they're going to be one of our delivery options soon.

Happy to help you choose between the plentiful fish options available, the staff are also quick to point out the provenance of each fish they sell, with the haddock I had most recently arriving fresh from the boat that morning. The fish itself is moist and flakey, encased in a light, crispy batter which is not in the least bit greasy. Chips are served in big portions (there's no need to order large portions). White bait and scampi are also available, as are the synonymous mushy peas and pickled onions. I hear there's a midweek lunch deal on offer too, so if you're in the area there really is no excuse not to give this place a try!
