This location recently reopened with a great dinning area. Sadly that is the only great thing about this KFC/Taco Bell. Waited for 25 min for our order - had to insist on a larger soda (no running soda fountain) than a can - we ordered extra large size- they did give us a bottle over can. I had the chicken burrito that was cold in centre- the wrap was warm but the contents were really cold. Took back to counter they remade only to have the same result. Plus there was only one small bite of chicken. Fries were hot with the fries supreme - but the order had very few fries and one small piece of a diced tomato! I'd give 0.5 star if I could, and the 0.5 only for the fact that the food is still edible. Yes, it's THAT BAD. Order delivery once years ago and man is mediocre an understanding. Oily and the oil smells unfresh. Korean fried chicken, Vietnamese fried chicken, Chinese fried chicken are all much better than KFC. The smell of it made me sick. Decided to give it one last chance today and I regretted it terribly. The staff were all rude and incompetent. About 8 staff and 2 groups in there when I walked in. We ordered for their "quick" pickup. It was SO quick that we had to wait for HALF AN HOUR. Yes, you read it right. 30mins at a fast food chain is unheard off even in the busiest rush hour in NYC or Asia. On top of that, it's pickup where they had even more time to prep before we got there. The first staff looked at our order on the phone and said okay about 10mins but walked around and did nothing. 15mins after another staff came and said "we didn't see it". This whole time 5 other groups came in after us but all got their order and left before us. There were even a doordash order on the counter and 3 teenagers ran in and stole it and ran out laughing, not even one staff looked up, called out, or care at all. How do you justify 30mins wait for 12 chicken with at least 8 staff working while only 2 groups are in the restaurant, and crappy oil smell? This is the third time in as many weeks we have visited only to be told there is a wait for chicken. Today it was 20 minutes, the last time it was 35 minutes and the first time, before Christmas, it was 40. How does a fast food chicken restaurant make customers wait for that long for anything, never mind the chicken they are supposed to have in abundance. Also, the entrance door has been broken for months now, hangs half open, is really a hazard. The restaurant is poorly lit, with many overhead lights obviously burned out. The bottled soft drink machine was empty and shut down on this last visit. The staff look tired and listless and when we were told about the delay for chicken, there was no hit of an apology for the delay. We left and will not be returning to this location again - ever. Three strikes and you are OUT. The last time we were there and were told we had to wait for chicken, we trundled across the parking lot to C-Lovers and had All You Can Eat brought to our table in about 7 minutes from placing our order. I had KFC for over 20 years and never though I need to write a review..... until al the rave about Popeye's fried chicken and I had the opportunities to taste Popeye in Canada as well as in the States multiple times before writing this review. Health KFC makes superior chicken than Popeye 1) their chicken skin is not overstuffed with baking soda and other rising chemical agents that imparts an unpleasant taste in the tongue..... well not everyone will have picky enough palette to notice the difference. 2) KFC use chickens raised without hormones or antibiotics, something that I find very important to women's health and if I have a choice I always go for the hormones-free ones. Taste KFC also has more pronounced spice taste and aroma on the chicken skin compared to Popeye's. That for me is the critical point that makes KFC better than Popeye. Fixings KFC loose out on the coleslaws and biscuits which I think Popeye does a much better job. KFC coleslaw always taste cheap and watery. Their fries are just standard frozen fries to fill the stomach. The hot sauces are good. Service If you go there on Tuesdays where they run the specials 2pieces plus a small fries for $app $3.69 then the line up and wait is huge at lunch and dinner times. Outside of this time frame services are usually alright if you are luck to see the manager taking care of order-taking. Otherwise, most of the time the cashier is a new trainee that either gets the order wrong or cannot have sufficient language skill to explain to customers the gizzilion questions about different combos and substitutions they wish to have. So yes, your experience will highly depend on how many idiot customers are in front of you and who is meaning the tilt. Cleanliness Typical per most KFC standalone locations where the interiors are worn and tired desperately needing an update. Bench seats cushions are all broken. Floors are usually oily and slippery, and don't bother visiting the restroom. The garbage bin are usually overfilled and unsightly as the first thing customers encounter when entering the store. Given that this is affordable somewhat not so unhealthy fast food, you get what you pay for. Exercise smart sense and go at meal times for fresh and juicy tasty fried chicken. read more

I love KFC and Taco Bell, but I'd suggest that you avoid this location and go to the one located in Coquitlam Centre across the street. The service was painfully slow. It took 5 minutes to place my order. It then took another 6-7 minutes to get my food. The staff seemed new to the job, which is often the case in fast food with their high turnover rates. The burritos at this location also seemed a bit smaller than other locations. Of course, I couldn't quantify this, but it just felt like there was less fillings. Some of the booths had seats that were duct-taped to repair gashes in the upholstery. And, the self-serve napkins on the counter needed to be replenished because they had run out. Heed my warning. Ordered the Famous spicy chicken sandwich (Famous my ASS) meal through mobile app. It was fast today picking up from the drive through. It was a 5-7mins drive from my place to KFC. When I got home, the sandwich isn't hot. It's only a little warm. I can tell the meat must had been placed out for a while. There are many bones in the sandwich that I don't know I'm eating the sandwich or the bones. I think they just put a semi-fried chicken into the sandwich. Duh BIG FAIL! The drumstick is smaller than a normal size. It's probably only 1cm bigger than a regular chicken wing. It's salty and not crispy. Haven't been to this KFC location till the days back when I was working at Best Buy across the street about 6 years back. That being said, I wish I continued to stay away from it. Honestly one of the worst fast food experiences of my life and I've had some crazy ones. It's a Friday night and we decided to go here because it was the closest thing that was open and we were craving some spicy chicken burgers. First red flag, the drive thru was closed. So we loop back around and park before heading in. I could imagine there'd be a line inside but literally the place was dead and maybe 3 customers ahead of me. Took maybe about 10 minutes for us to finally order and when we did the cashier seemed to be brand new and didn't know how to enter anything. I understand that there will always be new people due to high turn over in this industry but every time she asked the manager for help he would rudely yell at her and then just do it himself before returning to chat with another employee up front. To make things worse there were at least 6 guys in the kitchen working but food was still taking about 10-15 minutes to come out. When we finally did get our food, the order was wrong even though we confirmed it before paying so we had to wait another 5-10 minutes to get it fixed. At this point there were some customers who had ordered before us and still not received their food and just decided to get a refund. Just a disorganized mess in the kitchen. I'd say get better management and take responsibility of your team instead of just yelling at them. After all that, chicken was still raw and ended up getting food poising. The quality of this location has never been great. One time in particular sticks out though. They had no "original recipe" chicken made. This was during the supper hour and they had none of KFC's flagship meal prepared. I was really craving KFC so I paid for a meal, took a seat and waited. My wife had almost finished her meal and I went back to the counter to check on mine. The manager on duty giggled and said that she thought we left because she couldn't see us. How I stay thin? If I told you, it wouldn't be a secret and everyone would do it! Everywhere you go, every KFC you visit, the food is the same. That being said, I'm not going to comment on it because we all know what an original recipe chicken sandwich tastes like. Battered fried goodness. I love the people that work here! Once I get over the embarrassment of having store staff recognize me when I come in, nothing makes me happier than joking around, not having to place my own order (because they know what I order). What a joke!!!! That's right, this place is horrible! First, my husband and I spent 20 minutes in the drive thru. We watched 3 cars behind us leave before they even got their order. I ordered a two piece meal and I asked for a breast which I paid more for. My husband asked for an upsized fries with his meal. When we got home I discovered that there was no breast in my meal. Just a back and a leg, there were about 10 fries with my meal and my husbands fries were half empty. Outraged, I phoned and asked to speak to the manager. I was told I was speaking to the supervisor. I told her what had happened and she told me that the girl never put a breast in the computer and I hadn't ordered a breast. Then I brought the twenty minute wait in the drive thru to her attention and she told me that hours had been cut. Blah, blah, blah. Then she proceeded to take down my name and number and told me I could get a free two piece meal the next time I go in. Yipee, another free shitty meal! Like there will be a next time. I asked for a soft taco with ground beef and specified absolutely "no rice, beans or any kind of filler"...just beef...and I wanted lettuce, cheese, tomatoe, gaucele, etc...and what did I get? A huge empty over cooked tortilla wrap..one half was ground beef, a big slab of gaucamole in the middle and the bottom was nothing but rice....no cheese lettuce, nothing....this is the 3rd time this has happened to me....I am so disapointed! Worst location! They always mess up the order if you pay for "All white" you will probably be disappointed because the people working there can't identify what piece is what. If you ask for hot and Spicey they get that wrong too. One time we stormed in there because we ended up with raw chicken. This has to be the worst fast food restaurant of all time. I am 39 years old and I have experienced more horrible service at this location than at all other restaurants I've ever visited in my life combined. I live and work a few blocks away. I often finish work at 8 or 830. Most nights this restaurant closes at 9. If you plan on trying to get food here I suggest going a lot earlier. So many times I have gone in after work a half hour or so before closing to be told "sorry - we are out of chicken." Tonight I got there ten minutes before they were scheduled to close. Door was locked. One of the girls inside sorta shrugged her shoulders and mouthed a "sorry we are closed." I pointed at the time on my iphone reading 8:50 and then pointed at the door where it says they close at 9. She didn't seem to care. I then saw as I was leaving her and one of the other girls in the kitchen having a good laugh about it. Glad my being inconvenienced is so hilarious. Food is fine I guess. Same as any other KFC. When they have chicken that is. Service is the worst of all time. I'm done with this place. I get the odd craving for KFC.
