The portions are HUGE, so it's definitely something we can share and have plenty to eat. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. I've also ordered the kids' chicken tender meal before, and honestly, it was more than enough food for me. They recently moved to a new location and now have an indoor golf simulator that you can reserve, which is a fun addition and makes it more than just a place to grab something to eat. Definitely one of our go-to spots in Oxford!

The southern coop, located on the outskirts of Oxford. Private parking lot and ample parking…read morethat's well lit. Stopped into the souther coop tonight for dinner. It's a small place, seemed someone chain-sequencer I don't know that. I was looking for a local owned place and thought this was it. Dunno if it was the right choice but here goes. Started out with a coors light and bbq chicken nachos. The entree was bbq chicken and bacon sandwich with fries. The nachos were delicious. Sweet bbq sauce, good chunks of chicken and the chips were light and airy. The cheese sauce was legit and full of flavor as well. A 10/10 for the nachos. The sandwich was good, as were the fries. Plenty of meat and the fries were hot, just how I like them. The service was good, nobody actually waits on you, you order at a counter and they bring you your food. That's it. You police your own trash when you're done. Overall, this really wasn't what I was looking for. I was looking for a locally owned mom and pop type place. Something that didn't have the chain vibe. This is kinda a sports bar with food ish. They have some golf simulators and televisions. While the food was good, for me, it's a pass on a second visit when I come back to Ole Miss. No offense, it's just not what I was seeking.

Today I went to American Deli and ordered a three-piece Tilapia with fries. I paid for my order…read moreand five minutes later they told me that they did not have any tilapia. I was ok with that until they told me that they had a no refund policy and that I would have to order something else. I didn't want anything else I asked for my money back and they told me they couldn't give me my money back because they had a strict no refund policy. I then informed them that it was not my fault that they did not have the product that I paid for. The cashier was rude she tried to pressure me into buying something that I didn't want and refused to talk to me. Needless to say I had to wait on the owner to come in and give me a refund. She arrives 30 minutes later apologizes, but in what establishment is this acceptable? None that I know of. The cashier walked out after messing up different orders and came irate when the workers and customers told her she was wrong and walked out.

Sunday, we headed to BWW with a pretty large group. When we arrived, we noticed the restaurant was…read morevery slow, with only a couple of other tables occupied and a few people at the bar, so we split our group between two tables. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow from the start. It took over 10 minutes for our waitress to come take our drink orders, and nearly 20 minutes for us to receive our waters. It then took about 30 minutes for her to take our food orders, followed by over an hour before our food arrived. Our food was brought out one item at a time, and by the time it arrived, it was cold. Half the table was done eating 20 minutes before the other half even got their food. There were two other servers working who each had only one or two tables, while our waitress was responsible for both of our tables by herself (one of those playing on her phone ) There were two different tables that walked out due to the slow service. We understand that restaurants can get busy, but considering how slow it was when we arrived, the level of service we received was very disappointing. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning.
