I'm guessing that KFC has given up all pretenses of being a professionally run restaurant. I've watched as they closed the interior dining room during the pandemic and focused on giving extremely slow service to those customers who decided to wait in the drive thru lanes. On one occasion, after waiting ten minutes in my car to order, I was told they were out of chicken. They have finally decided to reopen their dining room to the public. Hoping that this was a sign that the establishment was on the upswing, I decided to give them another shot. All hopes were dashed the moment I walked in. A heavyset man, presumably the manager, was informing a customer that they were out of a particular item to which the customer said "I've been here twenty minutes. You couldn't have told me this twenty minutes ago?" and out the door he went. The "manager" said out loud "What a asshole", referring to the lost customer that had just left. I listened to the staff use profanities to each other as they offered slow service to the small handful of people waiting to order food. Finally, it's my turn to order. I ask for a two piece meal in original recipe. I'm told they are out of chicken , at 3:40 in the afternoon, and then am told all they have are wings. Since I've been there this long, I take them. Last night I drove to the drive through at 11:40PM. I was the fifth car in line. The worker said through the speaker, "Sorry, we're closed." Shocked, I asked "You're closed 20 minutes before your listed closing time?" He responded, "Yes." As I pulled out of the parking lot, I saw another car pull into the drive through line. He must have been able to place his order because he staid in line. I can't make any sense of that. I've worked in the food industry and I know how much it sucks when a customer shows up close to closing time. However, fast food is a pretty common place to eat late at night on the weekends. If you don't like it, don't work the late shift! This was the first time I returned to this location after I found a breaded & fried TWIST TAB in my popcorn chicken. I got takeout from KFC since I was passing by on Naamans Road. This KFC is a pad site in a strip mall on the westbound side of Naamans Road, just past the Naamans/I-95/I-495 intersection, so the location is rather strategic. Anyway, the fried chicken is about what one can expect from this fast food chain. The meal overall was good enough, although the biscuit seemed a bit small. What's not so good was the slow service that caused the ordering line to be backed up all the way to the door. They probably need more staff or faster staff to handle the lunchtime traffic. read more

I never write novels on Yelp, but... I'm shocked it's rated this high. I spent 48 minutes in the establishment the other day for a box meal and an extra potato wedge. Would have been gone after two minutes if I weren't picking up for someone else. I walk in, no one working the counter, about 5 people waiting on their orders. After 5 minutes someone comes over to wait on me and you can tell she's like "great, a customer, just what I need." This women's philosophy is not to assist customers (although that's her job description to a tee), it's to RESIST customers. After not accepting my order, because I'm not ordering by a number, rather than saying "I want the 3 piece meal, with two sides and a drink". Just telling me over and over, "you need to give me the number". Well, I don't eat your garbage so, I'm not familiar with the numbers, just tell me what number is a three piece with two sides and a drink. Finally, she dismisses me and I leave to her sarcastic "mm, hmm, thank you". I go out, get in the drive through and try to place my order. I explain what I want and I was told I should order inside. I said, I tried that and she didn't understand me. "Oh, that's a crying shame sugar" was the reply. I explained my order and heard, "Oh, were you just in here? What's the name? Yeah, that's ready. You need to come inside sir". Well, I'm already in the drive through and can't back up due to the line. So, even though there are only two cars in front of me, it takes 17 minutes to get through of the the drive through. I go in and mention I was told "my order is ready and I needed to come in." Well, that was a lie. I had to order from scratch again and had to wait. Again, I'm looking for a three piece, two sides and a drink, even on your first day, you should be able to say tell me what the number is, rather than making me figure out you 56 item menu to tell you the number. Anyway. While waiting, a self-proclaimed "regular" stated to another customer that even on a good day, when it's not crowded or lunch time, it will take atleast 30 minutes. The staff agreed with her and did not seem at all bothered by their utter lack of work ethic. The big Irony is when "Higher Ground" by Stevie Wonder came on, the counter girl began singing enthusiastically along with the song. Which is about people trying to be the best person that they can. Trust me when I tell you, no one on that side of the counter has any desire to be the best they can be. Terrible experience - would never go back. The staff are totally overwhelmed in there and make so many mistakes. I just waited for about 45 minutes for an eight piece bucket - I had to repeat the type of chicken pieces I wanted to the cashier no less than 5 times for her to get it right and then I had to repeat it to the lady filling the bucket because she was putting in the wrong pieces. She was called out for not changing her gloves which she used to handle money and then handled food with. The Taco Bell worker was smoking or vaping in the back while filling orders. A customer on line called her out on that and demanded a full refund before getting her food. While I sat and waited for my order, there were no less than 4 customers returning orders that were wrong. The place is a disaster and really should be fully revamped or shutdown. As well, the Board of Health should check it out because for customers to be able to pick out violations so easily, God only knows what was happening that we couldn't see. read more

Tried to contact Taco Bell/KFC to complain, and all I find is a "survey". They advertise for help, but I know someone with 20 years experience and didn't get a call back. Wouldn't want her to work there anyway as the store is not properly managed. Sanitary conditions really need to be questioned as trash is over flowing and employees not washing hands, etc. Food left on counters and floor. Never seen so many 1 star reviews in my life, but they're all justified. This place just sucks. I have no idea how it can go on like this unchanged for so long. Employees are rude can't be bothered types. Place is filthy because the rude can't be bothered types can't be bothered to do anything but have an attitude and mess up your order. The drive thru is a joke. And when you get stuck waiting in it forever you can't leave cuz there's no way to go around, so you're trapped. They've never once gotten my order right. Never. I'll ask for BBQ sauce and they'll hand me the bag literally two seconds later without it. And then have an attitude when you ask for it again. Last time, I opened my bag while still sitting there because I was positive it wouldn't be right. I was literally missing 4 things. And I had to ask four separate times for the stuff because I'd tell her about 1 thing missing and she'd slam the door shut go get it and come back so I'd have to keep saying what's missing one by one. Just so needlessly rude. And I have terrible anxiety so I HATE having to ask for the missing things and all that. But what can you do when they don't give you half your stuff! It's honestly the most poorly run fast food establishment I've ever been to in my life. And it's such a shame, because the chicken sandwich is pretty good. The last 2 times I tried to go- I didn't even get served. One time they said they were closed when it was more then an hour before closing time, and the second time they literally just came over the intercom and said they were "out of product." It's a Taco Bell/KFC combo, so you're telling me you were out of absolutely everything from both places?! Yeah, sure. The cars in front of us were served, so I'm assuming they just decided they were done early. They seem to do that often.
