Literally the worst experience here! I ordered food for my family and after paying they told me it would be 5 minutes for one of the sides, and to pull around front. No problem, that happens. Almost 15 minutes later I go back around in the drive thru because I still hadn't been given my food. They had forgotten about my order. Ok, annoying but it's okay. They tried to have me pull around again but I insisted on waiting for it. It still took 5 minutes to get my food...and the worst part of the whole experience is that the food was absolutely terrible. The biscuits must have been sitting under the heat lamp for a long while because they are literal bricks that just completely crumble and bust into pieces when you try to open or bite them. The chicken also tasted like it had been sitting a long while. SO disappointing! It is no wonder KFC is having to close locations if this is the standard being set. The hot wings my wife had two weeks ago were seriously undercooked and my wife got sick later that night. As soon as she realized something was wrong with the chicken, she stopped eating and the chicken wings were almost raw. I brought the chicken wings to Anoka KFC and showed to the GM, Mark, and two other employees. The GM didn't look like he was taking it seriously, only tried to partial refund just for the wings, and I had to refuse it because they are the one that should be responsible for all the medical bills once we figure out how much we are due for seeing doctors, that $10 won't do anything. I was wanting a chicken sandwich. I drove 15 miles out of my way to give this place a second chance. I hadn't been to this location since my 8 year old was under 2 with a feeding tube. When I looked at the receipt later, she was charged for a kids 3-6 buffet. Anyway, I get to the drivethru, picked a sandwich, and communicated with the guy who answered the drive thru. I got the exact change ready, drove up to the window, and he decides he's going to argue with me about needing a combo. I wanted a SANDWICH. I had a full flavored water in my cup holder, have been disappointed with the only side I like (coleslaw) lately. I wanted just the sandwich. I asked him if he wanted the sale or not. The restaurant is always clean, employees are really friendly and nice and the atmosphere is really comfortable. The back of both seats are completely shredded, some even with the foam missing, the floors have not been cleaned and most of the tables had not been cleaned from the night before. It was 11:23 when we arrived, so they had only been open a short while. The be fair, the staff was friendly and the food tasted ok. But the setting was terrible. I have not been in as poorly kept place in years and none of them would be like this in MN. Had I have looked a bit closer before paying, I would have went anywhere else. Typically I order the same item in the drive through but on 11/7 we decided to go inside with our two kids. The kiddos ordered based on the pictures on the menu board with the numbers listed next to the pictures. When we received the order we realized that the numbers and pictures did not align which resulted in us getting different menu items than we thought. Casey was our cashier and went above and beyond to get us what we actually wanted. This could have been potentially a very bad visit but thanks to Casey it turned out great.
